Chapter 3

Three

Bellinor

“Keeping me…” she trails off. “You can’t keep me.”

“Oh, but we can, angel. Our souls are fused together. You’re tethering us to this realm, allowing us to stay here long past Halloween,” I tell her, feeding off the sweet, delicious fear she’s releasing into the atmosphere.

Eamon dressed as a stereotypical devil tonight because that’s what he is. He’s a demon who’s truly devilish in every way and feeds off chaos. I chose to dress as an angel, to appear as the pinnacle of angelic nature—the way I was before I fell from grace. All so I could use it as a lore to catch a good little girl and feed off her fear.

And this girl is scared. She’s fucking delicious, and I want to scare her for the rest of her life and feast on her screams.

“If I tether you, there has to be a way to end it,” she muses aloud. It’s no use for her to even think about it. What’s done is done, but I listen anyway. “You can’t have me!”

She springs out of our hold and runs to her bedroom door.

“She’s getting away,” Tynan growls.

“But is she really? There’s no getting away from someone you’re soulbound to. We’ll be able to find her,” Eamon reminds us.

“Let’s give her enough of a head start, so she can take the elevator down to the ground floor. Then we can have some fun,” I suggest. They all nod, and we wait a few minutes.

I close my eyes and tap into her soul to reach her consciousness. I can see through her point of view. It’s raining, and she’s soaked, her little nightie practically see-through. She runs down the street, stopping when she catches a cab.

“Please! Please take me to the nearest subway station. I need to get away,” she asks the cabbie, an older man with graying hair and thick black glasses.

He takes one look at her bloody nose and the X carved into her chests and tells her to hop in.

“You need to go to a hospital. You don’t look good,” he says, a note of worry in his voice. “Who are you running from? Is he dangerous?”

“Please take me to the subway,” she begs him, her voice growing louder, more anxious.

The car stops at a red light, but she can’t wait that long. She opens the door and flies out of the cab, much to the cabbie’s dismay, but he’s too old to chase after her in this weather.

“She’s about a block away from a subway station. Let the chase begin, brothers,” I say before fading away from them to get a head start. It’s not cheating when you’re a creature of darkness.

I materialize again in front of my angel, stopping her dead in her tracks. She screams into the night, and people on the street stare at us. One pulls her phone out, but before she can call for help, I take Abigail into my arms, blanketing her in a silencing spell.

“Oh, my angel, I was so worried about you!” I pretend. “Please excuse my wife, she’s had too much to drink and she’s acting a bit insane.”

They take it at face value and keep going about their lives, eager to get out of the rain.

“Did you think you could run from me?” I whisper in her ear as I dig my fingertips into her skin. She’s so tiny in my arms, and the top of her head barely touches my shoulder.

She sinks her teeth into my skin in response, catching me by surprise enough that I let her go. She escapes down the subway entrance stairs. I stalk my prey into the poorly lit underground, keeping my eyes peeled.

Tynan’s scowling countenance appears on the concourse with Eamon, who’s smiling like a lunatic. He loves the hunt as much as I do, whereas Tynan is annoyed by the hassle of it.

“She thinks she’s safe because she made it on a departing train heading toward Queens. She doesn’t know that the group of men sitting near her disagree,” Eamon informs us.

“We won’t let her sweat it out for the ride?” Tynan asks. His eyes close, and I can feel his soul searching hers. The perks of a four-way soul bond. “Those drunk fools are not touching what’s ours.”

I tap into her soul and feel her fear. She’s already regretting leaving us, even if she doesn’t want to admit it. We may be scary and dangerous, but we made her feel good. We evoked a deep feeling of lust in her that she doesn’t quite understand yet.

These men are not the same as us. She should be scared of them.

“Let’s go save her. Then we can throw her into a new type of danger,” I plan.

“This is why I hate this chasing game you two play. It’s unpredictable and impossible to plan,” he complains.

The three of us fade, using our soulbond to appear at her side. I extend my black wings and flap them once. The simple move is all it takes for these moronic boys to learn we are not mortal men. They run to another car, leaving the four of us alone on a moving train with no way out.

Just in case, I seal all the doors. I feel it deep in my soul that this angel of ours is trouble. We can’t be too careful with her.

“You thought escaping us was possible?” Eamon asks her. She’s still silenced, so I break the spell.

“Yes, and I’ll keep trying until I’m rid of you three,” she weakly proclaims. It’s a half-hearted threat at best.

But I feel her lust coiling inside her, pulling at the loose threads of her common sense and fear. It’s skewing her judgment.

“No use. You belong to us now, angel. Body and soul. You’re a Keeper now.”

“A keeper…” she trails off, waiting for one of us to fill in the blanks.

Tynan stops eye fucking her soaked body long enough to answer her. “To stay here, demons need to tether themselves to a mortal soul. That changes the mortal into a keeper, a being who feeds off her demons, gaining immortality and gifts beyond her wildest dreams. You should be thanking us.”

Her eyes light up at his answer. “Feeding off you? Like this?” she swishes her hand in the air, and a gust of raw, powerful, and unfocused magic blasts through the air, shattering a subway window. The sound of the moving car shuttling through the tunnel pollutes the quiet of the car.

I tackle her to the ground and bind her palms together so they’re touching and unable to conduct magical energy. She rises to her knees, glaring at me as I stand again.

“No more of that, angel. At least not until you learn to control it. What should we do about your naughty behavior?”

“We have a lot of options,” Eamon muses, standing in front of her.

“You’re all assholes. Fuck off and undo what you did to me, now!” she shouts.

“You’re mouthy…” Tynan grouses.

“There’s a simple way to fix that,” Eamon assures him, unzipping his pants and taking out his thick, knotted cock.

Her eyes go wide as she tries to stand, but my hand on her shoulder forces her back down.

“Your…your cock is…” she trails off, most likely because she’s unable to verbalize what she’s seeing.

Eamon’s cock is thicker than a mortal man’s, with ridges, a knot, and magic cross piercings through the head. It’s my favorite cock besides my own, if I’m being honest. I know firsthand how good those piercings feel inside—how hard they’ll make her come.

“About to go inside you,” he finishes for her.

Her lust perfumes the air, the sweet scent driving us mad. I dive into her consciousness again, and images of the three of us defiling her flood my mind. Our innocent little angel is almost as creative as we are.

Our Dark Father blessed me. Instead of luring a good girl, I caught a bad one. A filthy little slut who’s going to enjoy all the punishments I intend to give her.

She’s silent as she bites her lip and stares up at us all.

“I saw your mind, angel. There’s no use fighting us. I know you’re curious about it. You envisioned us using you, controlling your pleasure.” I see her black eyes flare with a faint glow at my words. “Yes, girl, I saw how curious you are about orgasm denial. You finally had one and now you want to dive deep, fuck around and find out how it feels to prolong your gratification.”

“So adventurous,” Tynan says, his voice perking up. He’s making plans for our little keeper. And I know they’ll be exquisite.

“You’re our keeper. Let us show you what it’s like to be kept. How good we can make you feel,” Eamon coaxes her, his deep voice almost soothing.

“Let us make all those fantasies in your mind a reality…” I say as I move my hand from her shoulder and wrap it around her throat, squeezing on the sides to cut some of her oxygen off.

Her whole body is vibrating with lust and instinct. A tug on our magical binding alerts me to how she feels; her soul is so telling. It wants to find out what we’ll feel like inside her.

“Okay. Show me,” she agrees.

“Oh trust me, angel, you’re going to see…”
