BONES
This shit night only goes from bad to worse. As I’m pulling up to my house, my head of security calls me, which is never good news.
“What, Eduardo?” I answer with a growl, knowing I’m being an asshole because he never calls me without justification.
“Boss, we have a problem.”
I glare at my Bluetooth display as I wait for him to finish.
“There’s an intruder trying to scale the wall.”
I run a hand through my hair in agitation. “Fucking kill them. All of them.”
That’s a simple solution. If you come into my home in the middle of the night, you die. Perhaps Eduardo has forgotten this.
“If you wish, Boss, it’s just-”
Slamming my hand on the steering wheel, I yell, “Spit it out!”
“It’s a woman. She’s alone and stuck. And crying.”
I laugh obnoxiously. I’m equally irritated and curious.
“Women cry, Eduardo. It’s what they fucking do. Stand down and let me do your job. Where is she?”
“The East wall, sir.”
After hanging up, I exit my vehicle and walk through my gate to approach the east wall. It’s not common for people to attempt to get on to my property because it’s virtually impossible. Ten-foot cement walls with barbed wire discourage it. And anybody in our criminal world knows I have security. They don’t see them for a reason, but they are always there. Always watching. And never has the idiot been a woman. Oh fuck. Could it be one of my one-night stands? I dismiss the thought almost instantly, because that’s a lot of trouble to go through for good dick. It is really good dick, but still .
I walk up to the wall, and spot what Eduardo meant about her being stuck. There’s enough light to see her, but it’s too dark to get a good look. She hangs upside down with her back against the wall, pretty blue-gray eyes wide with fear, as she whimpers like she’s in pain. Her shirt is ripped wide open, exposing her tits in a black lacy bra. Her jeans are ripped as well, and her leg bleeds as she hangs helplessly. Barbed wire is a bitch, and normally a deterrent.
I turn my head to get a look at her face. Nope. Don’t know her. I’m pretty sure I’d remember her. Long dark hair with soft curls, eyes so blue I can even see them in the dark. High cheekbones and full lips that look as soft as her skin. Without a doubt, this is a woman I’d likely never forget.
Righting myself, I grin at her. “You’ve got yourself into quite the situation.”
Her hair hangs down, nearly touching the ground along with her shredded t-shirt, but she manages to glare at me as if I’m the asshole that tried to get onto her property.
“Be a gentleman and help me down.”
I chuckle loudly. “You are in no position to make demands. And I assure you, I’m no gentleman.”
I’m feeling generous, I suppose, so I grab her pant leg that’s hooked on the wire, and yank until she falls free with a thud.
“Fucking asshole,” she screams, causing me to chuckle again. Bending down, I pick her up off the ground and throw her over my shoulder. I hold her thighs against my chest as I make it to the back of my house, where my guards open the door for me. The pretty brunette knees my stomach, squealing the entire time, and it’s really beginning to piss me off. I walk down the steps into my basement and she calls me an asshole again. Setting her down, I grab her hair and yank her head back painfully. “Call me that again and you’ll see what an asshole is.”
I let go of her, and she takes a quick look around at her surroundings and suddenly seems very nervous, as she should be. A gasp escapes from her pretty lips when she spots the cage, and then the chains on the wall. Aside from my chair down here, it’s empty other than my containment items.
She turns to me, and it’s as if I can actually see her lightbulb moment and everything falls into place for her.
“You’re not going to let me go.”
Her lashes flutter as she raises her eyes to mine, and Jesus, she really is beautiful. I knew that when I first laid eyes on her, but it’s more noticeable now that we aren’t in the dark. It’s going to hurt to kill something so gorgeous, but there’s no choice. Fucking stunning. Long dark, wavy hair. Blue-gray eyes, more gray than blue. Pouty lips begging for a dick between them. Pale skin, perky tits with hard nipples poking through her thin bra. A body so feminine. Looking at her now, I know I’m not going to just kill her. It won’t be quick. First, I’ll break her.
“Are you going to kill me?” She asks in a breathy, trembling voice.
“Yes, Butterfly. I am.”
She swallows hard. “Then get on with it.”
“First things first. Why were you attempting to break into my house?”
Crossing her arms over her chest, she scowls at me like I’ve wronged her?. “I was not trying to get into your house.”
Arching an eyebrow at her, I shake my head. “Climbing ten foot cement walls and getting stuck on barbed wire is a hobby then, Butterfly?”
Had I met her under different circumstances, I’d already be inside her, but unfortunately this time that’s not an option.
“Get undressed.”
With a roll of her eyes, she surprises me and does as she’s told. Why didn’t she even try to fight? I lean forward and run my thumb down her bleeding thigh. “Does this hurt? ”
With a glower, she growls like a tiny kitten. “Why do you care? You’re going to kill me, anyway.”
I drag my tongue slowly over my thumb, tasting the coppery sweetness of her blood, and she gives me a disgusted face. “I will not give you what you want. If you want to fuck me, you’ll need to rape me.”
I gaze at her curiously. “I’ve never raped a woman in my life. I don’t need to. And I have no intention of fucking you, Butterfly.”
Do I miss the sad look in her eyes? No. But it doesn’t matter. She did this to herself.
“Why do you keep calling me that?”
Running my fingers down her cheek, it’s like I’m in a trance. “I had a pretty little blue butterfly when I was a boy. You remind me of it. Stunning but fragile. Too fragile for life. One torn little wing, and it’s grounded. It can’t survive the monsters of its world, if it can’t fly. Butterflies are meant to be free. Beautiful and free. One thing you are. The other you never will be.”
“I’m not fragile,” she roars angrily.
I can’t help the grin that overtakes my face. “We shall see, Butterfly. Now get in the cage.”
