Blake

I fucking hate drunk Jenga—and Alec Tu.

Tu Tu, not as much as Jenga, but he’s a close second. Alec had looked Cleo up and down like a lion on the hunt for a gazelle, after completely dogging our moment. Cleo was finally getting comfortable around me before Tu Tu interrupted and invited the majority of our friend group, plus some random girls, to the living room for the game. I almost forgot that Alec was “strictly dickly” for a moment until he brought up how much he loved her outfit and the two of them began discussing fashion.

I sigh as I plop down on the couch between Lucki Cole, a senior left winger, and Theo Carter, our only junior D-man. Lucki gives me a curt nod, his pink curls dangling in his face as I nod back, noting his new septum ring. He and I went to the same high school and somehow ended up on the same collegiate team, it still shocks the both of us to this date. I’d been more than sure Lucki would go to the NHL straight after high school after all the prospects he’d received when he was a senior, but he declined them all to pursue graphic design here at Summerfield. He’s a chill dude with only two settings, playing the fuck out of some hockey and beating ass in video games.

Theo chuckles from beside me at something the girl on his right had said and I’m not surprised to see him entertaining someone tonight. Theo almost always gets attention whenever we go out because he looks like that one actor from the 90s, with his short black curls, deep brown skin, and perfectly trimmed goatee. He stops talking as Alec calls for our attention over the EDM music playing over the speakers. Most likely from Jace. The dude is a sucker for a good beat drop .

“The rules are the same as regular Jenga, ladies and gents. Only, you have to do the dare written on the side of your piece. The lucky loser that drops the pieces must take the mystery shot. If you’re allergic to cherries— Eric —please sit out.”

My eyes wander across the table and immediately fall on Cleo. She’s sitting squished between Jace and Georgia, obviously uncomfortable as she slowly sips from the second pink cup I’d given her earlier.

I chuckle as she grimaces. The first drink I'd concocted for her was out of pure fun, I honestly can’t even tell you what I put in it but I know it had to be disgusting based on her reaction. The second one, however, is my go-to, something that always took the edge off.

Good ole’ Cuba libre.

“Let me see these… Ew. Why does this one say ‘kiss Jace for ten seconds’?” One of the cheerleaders, Destiny, asks with a frown looking up at the cheeky bastard.

“It’s a small experiment that I’m doing. Want to test it out?” Jace asks, winking as Georgia pretends to gag beside him.

“Maybe if you were Alec, but hell no.” Destiny chuckles, jokingly winking at a smug Alec. Jace frowns immediately as the guys around us groan.

“Fucking hell, Des.” One of our goalies, Romeo, groans as he digs into his pocket.

“Damn it, Destiny.”

“Fuck…”

The men all curse around the group as they each pull twenties from their pockets, piling them in front of Alec. Destiny frowns as she watches them and Jace sighs.

Looks like someone lost a bet.

We go over the ground rules of Jenga and within the first five minutes, Georgia has kissed Darius and “married” Cleo after drawing the kiss, marry, kill block. In-Su, our sophomore left-winger, has stripped down to his boxers, and Alec has kissed one of my LEGO figurines.

The game is getting funnier and heated by the second as we drink more enjoying our time with each other.

“Take a body shot off the person to your left.”

Jace’s face reddens, and for a second the statement goes over my head until I look up between him, and Cleo, who is in fact on his left. I watch as she grows shy, hiding her face behind her hands chuckling softly as Jace grabs some ingredients and a pair of shorts.

When I look at Jace and Cleo, I realize that the two are closer than I’d imagined and that he hadn’t told us about her for a reason.

Cleo is one of the most gorgeous women in the world. Whenever Jace would talk about his best friend, he’d always downplay her as if she were one of the guys. He’d talk about how they played video games together and watched hockey highlights but he never mentioned that she looked like someone out of a fucking fairytale.

Jace comes back to the group with a sheepish smile, covering Cleo as she slides the shorts on under her skirt. I watch carefully, my eyes focusing on them as he lays her down on the floor, placing a pillow under her head. He’s slow and a fucking tease as he lines her soft abdomen with salt, and places the shot and lime just above her cherry shaped belly ring.

It’s fucking hot.

But what’s not hot is the sensual way he licks her up and takes the shot.

It’s quick and a little awkward as the two of them laugh once the shot is gone. Jace helps Cleo up with a small smile as if he didn’t do a body shot off his best friend.

Leilani, a curvy dark skinned girl on the cheer team, is the next person to pull from the tower; she chuckles sneakily as she reads her card aloud.

Her plump lips curve into a sinister smirk. “Flash the group or go streaking around the house.” She shows the group the card. I can practically hear the gulps from the men in the room.

Leilani is arguably the most gorgeous cheerleader in all of SFU history, but she’s always hanging around the football team and Ryan Jones, so it’s surprising she’s here tonight with us.

Without hesitation, she lifts her shirt revealing a rack of some nicely round and perky tits, probably a D cup at max.

“Fuck me…” Theo mumbles aloud, cringing as Leilani winks at him.

Oh, she’s definitely fucking him now. I wouldn’t be surprised if Theo finds a whole new roster of women this season considering how much women fawn over—

“Blake, don’t start that daydreaming crap now… it’s your turn.” Brax chuckles, from across the room.

I slightly jump at the feeling of all eyes on me and with slow movements, I steadily pull from the tower. A feeling of triumph washes over me as I successfully pull the block from the tower but all air is knocked from my lungs as I read over the block for a second time.

Is this a joke? Is God giving me a gift or is this a warning from hell?

Lucki leans over my shoulder and whistles as he reads the piece aloud. “Play 7 minutes in heaven with the person straight across from you.”

His tone is teasing, but I'm not focused on him.

Instead, my eyes are trained on the wide set of brown ones in front of me. Cleo looks as if she’s going to make a run for it but a shoulder squeeze from Georgia has her smiling.

Okay… She’s smiling so that means she’s cool with this, right?

Are you okay?’ I mouth to her, but instead of responding, she jumps to her feet.

“Come on, creeper… You scared I’ll bite?”
