Wroahk

A kiss.

A strange action initiated by this female that fills me with a desire beyond my comprehension. Her tongue dances with a strange fervor and as I imitate it, my body fills with heat that makes my mating tentacles rage even more. They long to burst out from where I hide them and plunge into this female, and at some point, I lose at least part of the battle to keep them contained.

But she is not like any female I've ever seen. I don't even know where to start. We are so different yet the desires of our bodies yearn for freedom. She holds on to me, squirming like prey but more enticingly. The taste of her blood only makes me crave her more. I don't want to eat her anymore, but I want to taste her.

"Wroahk… please… "

I don't know why she's begging me in such a soft voice, but I know she doesn't want me to let go. It's confusing, but I look at her and find that she's different from the time she was trying to tie sticks to her grasper.

This time, she's experiencing what I did when she first showed me that kiss .

Unfortunately, I must go back into the water. My skin is drying, and I don't think I can hold on to her. I release her and place her on the ground, writhing back into the water. I hear her call for me behind me, but I don't stop until I'm moist again. I float around, filling my stomach that has surprisingly become empty.

When I go back, the sky is dark, and she's back to how she normally is. She's tossing something around, flapping her other limbs with grunts of annoyance. Her eyes light up when she sees me and she flounders toward me.

"You're back. I thought you were disgusted with me and left."

"No."

She makes a strange noise with her mouth, but her face no longer has any tension. She goes back to sit down, scratching at her torso as she does.

"Come sit with me, Wroahk."

I don't know why she keeps calling me that, but I'm even more disappointed in myself for listening. I sit by her, seeing scattered traces of the food she ate. I don't know why she even calls it food. It's hardly enough to keep her weak limbs alive.

"So, how was it?"

I look down at her, wondering what she means.

"I'm talking about this afternoon. Did you like the kiss ? And be honest."

I'm tempted to not talk to her about it with the look she has on her face. I should learn that she is going to talk, regardless.

"You don't have to be so stoic about it. It's only just us two here. Do you want another one? I don't know how it'll work with your… two, uh, things, but that doesn't stop us from kissing ."

The fervor in her eyes is back, and it frightens even me. She leans back and casually laughs. She reaches for my tentacle and touches it softly.

" Sorry . I was being too forward."

"You cannot harm me," I say but it seems like I'm talking more to myself. She cocks her head to the side and her eyes light up with a spark.

"Are you sure about… ouch !"

She immediately reaches for her side and scratches at it violently. I grab her grasper and stop her, catching her gaze.

"It just hurts too much."

I frown and touch her side. It doesn't feel too different from the last time I touched it, but this female is strange so I can't tell. She sighs and leans on me.

"I'm tired."

She doesn't say anything aside from that and stares up at the sky. We stay in silence for a while before she speaks again.

"On my planet , people relied on the stars for many things. Navigation, predictions of behaviors, and telling when the best time to conceive was. Ridiculous, right?"

I don't get it. The stars are just things out of reach you can't eat. Why rely on them for anything?

"I'll sleep now," she says, yawning.

In just a short time, her breathing becomes even as she falls into slumber. I keep looking at the sky, wondering if I need to rely on them to find the enemy.

I need to rip those things that stole me from my home apart, then I'll be able to keep her.

" Kind… ly …" I say in a low rush of wind.

She says I can't take anything just because I want it, especially not her. For now, I just have to endure until I get my chance.

I look back up. If they lead me to that, then I suppose the stars aren't so bad even if they aren't edible.
