Chapter 51

51

T he boredom was getting to her.

Bebe had never been someone who could sit around for long periods. Especially when she was just sitting and watching someone else do everything.

She felt useless.

And she hated that.

“I’m just going to go on a bit of a scouting mission now that the snow has stopped. All right?” Corbin asked.

Don’t go.

I don’t want to be alone.

She nodded. “Okay.”

“I’m hoping there’s something in the small shed out back that might help. I’ll see. But I need you to promise me you’ll stay inside and stay still.”

She bit her lip.

“Bebe,” he warned. “Promise.”

“Fine. I’ll stay inside.”

“And stay off your foot.”

“Yep. I will.”

“That’s a good girl. I’ll be back as soon as I can.” He kissed her before heading outside.

Crap.

She hated the idea of him out there alone, even though she knew it was necessary. And she really didn’t like the idea of being here alone.

Grr. She was so bored.

But she lay down and started counting the cobwebs in the room.

No. Nope. That wasn’t a good idea, because now she was thinking about spiders.

And that’s when she heard it. A rustling noise. The sound of feet scrabbling against wood and then a huge fucking rat!

She screamed and tried to scramble away from the rat, which, thankfully, ran off.

Bebe breathed in deep, trying to calm herself. But seriously! A rat was a step too far.

Just then, her stomach started rumbling. What the heck? It better not be thinking about rat stew, because that wasn’t happening.

Then her bladder grew heavier. And tighter.

No, no, no.

This was all Corbin’s fault! He was always making her drink water.

She could wait until he got back. But he had so much to do.

And you promised to stay inside.

Fine. But she needed something to protect herself against the rat. So she decided to slide herself over to the broom leaning against the wall in the corner of the room.

Then she thought about the cobwebs. Spiders were almost as bad as rats.

Grabbing the broom, she tried to hold it up and swipe at the cobweb above her. But she couldn’t reach it.

Darn it.

Okay, she was going to have to pull herself up. Grasping hold of the counter, she drew herself up and hopped around, holding up the broom.

But apparently, hopping around with a full bladder wasn’t a smart idea.

Shoot. She couldn’t hold on. She was going to have to go. She thought about finding something to pee in, but that was just a step too far. So she pulled on her jacket and hopped toward the front door. She was already winded as well as worried about falling over when she tried to hop through the snow.

Well . . . there was nothing else she could do.

Corbin knew something was wrong when he saw the door to the cabin was slightly ajar.

The good news was that he didn’t think they were far from his truck. And he’d found an old toboggan in the shed he thought they could use when they set out.

The bad news was that Bebe wasn’t where he’d fucking left her! He should have known. But where was she?

Why did he leave her?

And why was the broom now in the middle of the room?

Shit. Shit. Shit.

“Bebe!” he yelled. “Bebe!”

“I’m over here!”

He raced toward the sound of her voice, coming to a stop as he saw her leaning against a tree. She was attempting to pull up her pants.

Damn it. Why hadn’t he taken her out to pee before he left?

“I had to pee.”

“Baby, I’m sorry. I should have helped you pee before I left.” He quickly did up her pants and lifted her up. “That was all my fault. But you should have peed in a bowl or something.”

“Gross.”

He settled her on her blanket in front of the fire and drew off her jacket and shoe. Then he pulled off her sock to check her foot.

Ouch. It still looked terrible.

As he turned away, his gaze was caught once again on the broom. He took off his own jacket and boots.

“That’s why you moved? Because you had to pee?”

“Uh-huh.”

“And why is there a broom on the floor?” He picked it up and put it back against the wall.

“Um, maybe I was going to use it as a crutch,” she suggested.

“A broom?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Were you?”

“Nooo,” she wailed. “There was a rat! I needed protection.”

He ran his hand over his face.

“And then I thought that while I had the broom, I might as well get rid of some spiderwebs. But while I was hopping around, trying to get rid of the spiderwebs, well, I had to pee.”

He stared at her sternly, his arms over his chest.

“I’m in big trouble, huh?” she asked.

“We’re at level five.”

“Uh-oh.”

“Uh-oh is right. You’re getting a spanking!”

“But . . . but . . . I had to pee!”

“Yes, but perhaps if you hadn’t been hopping around trying to get rid of cobwebs you might have been all right until I got back.”

Darn it, she didn’t like that logic.

Corbin walked over to her, then crouched and rolled her onto her front.

“Can we talk about this, Daddy?”

“Nope. Just be grateful that I don’t want you to hurt your ankle any further, so this spanking won’t be too harsh. It’s just a reminder.”

Down went her pants and panties.

And then he placed one hand on her thighs to hold her in place before he slapped her ass. It was only about fifteen smacks. Just enough to warm her cheeks. She wasn’t even tearful.

But he’d made his point, and when he drew her pants and panties back up and rolled her over, she held out her arms to him.

She needed cuddles.

“I just want you to be safe,” he told her as he cuddled her close. “That’s why I have rules. For your safety and care.”

“I know, Daddy. I’m sorry.” He held her for a few more moments.

“Well, I have good news.”

“What’s that?” she asked.

“We get to blow this joint. And you’re going in style.”
