GRAHAM
My mind was still turning everything over as we stepped into the elevator.
Even though I sat through North and Demetrius’ planning session, I still didn’t have the full picture of what was going on. All I knew was that Kaelin was in some photographs she shouldn’t, and North had a crazy stalker after him. I knew it was deeper than that but I couldn’t see exactly to what extent—yet. I fully intended on finding out though.
“How are you going to get her to lock the cameras down tighter without telling her why? Can’t West do it?”
I asked as we rode the elevator up to the executive suites on the top floors.
“Yeah, he could. Just easier if she does it,”
he answered.
The doors opened up into a large lobby with a receptionist desk on one side and a wall of glass offices along the far wall. Everything about the building was spacious, expensive and high tech. I followed North as he walked purposefully past the reception desk. The woman stood up behind it.
“You can’t—”
North completely ignored her. She hurried to try and intercept him. “She’s in a meeting!”
The woman insisted.
North fixed her with a glare and she froze, paling slightly, then he kept walking. I smiled at the woman, trying to ease the anxiety clearly on her face.
“We won’t interrupt her,”
I said firmly. “We’ll wait in her office.”
The conference room glass was currently blurred out, signifying a meeting was in place. I walked past it and entered her office to see North already looking around.
“You could be nicer to Maeve,”
I said with a chuckle. “She’s terrified of you.”
“She should stay out of my way then,”
he said distractedly, looking up at the camera in the corner of Kaelin’s office. Her office was simple but with small feminine touches here and there—like the vase of white flowers on the coffee table and the accent pillows on the couch. There was a massive painting she’d done on the wall across the room from the desk but the other wall was all windows and looked out over the sprawling city scape and further out to the bay.
“I think she has a better view than you do,” I said.
North scoffed and glanced briefly out the bank of floor to ceiling windows. We both did a quick walkthrough of the room but didn’t find anything out of sorts. I sat down on the couch, arms stretched out across the back while North went and sat down in front of her computer.
Before I could start in on all the questions I had, Kaelin walked in.
“This is a nice surprise,”
she said, smiling at both of us. “I only have a few minutes until my next meeting though.”
“Plenty of time,”
North said. His gaze swept over her hungrily. She went over and sat down on his lap and he pulled her in to kiss her. Their kiss got so hot and heavy I got lost in it for a minute and had to adjust myself as my cock hardened. She pulled back breathlessly, her eyes searching his before she looked over at me.
“So what brings you guys here in the middle of the day?”
She asked.
“West was poking around and he doesn’t like how lax your security is on your camera feeds,”
North said, jumping straight to the point.
She blinked and her eyebrows shot up as she looked at North again.
“Why was West poking around?”
She asked, lingering on the words ‘poking around’ as though they offended her. She looked at me and then back at North again and sighed. “This is related to our conversation earlier isn’t it?”
“We just want to make sure you’re safe everywhere, gorgeous,”
I said, because regardless of why or what was happening, keeping her safe through it all was paramount and something we both agreed on.
“Then why don’t you tell me what you’re keeping me safe from,”
she said, her eyes narrowing as she looked back at North, already knowing he was the reason for all of this. “Because I can guarantee, those death threats you found are not coming from anyone capable of hacking into my camera feeds.”
North just fixed her with a look and she sighed and gestured to her computer. He scooted the chair up with her still on his lap so she could reach her keyboard.
“Call West,”
she said, her voice resigned.
“Good girl,”
North murmured and I watched his eyes darken in approval. Kaelin visibly shivered at his tone. I loved watching her visceral reaction to us, it would never not turn me on. North pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed West, putting it on speaker in front of them.
“Yeah boss,”
he answered.
“I’m with Kaelin. You’re on speaker.”
“Hey Killer, what can I do for you?”
“I heard you were ‘poking around’ my video surveillance,”
she said dryly. “Since you seem to have done a diagnostic on the weaknesses already, I thought I could save myself some trouble and just loop you in—”
They started talking in heavy tech terms and North watched Kaelin’s fingers travel quickly across the keyboard as she coded.
“And save me a backdoor or T will kill me in my sleep,”
West said.
Kaelin laughed. “I’m half tempted to kick you out and make you hack in all over again.”
West groaned. “Please don’t.”
“So why the increased security?”
West fell silent. “We’re a private military company who specializes in security and protection—unfortunately, you’re dating the boss and that means you get the brunt of his obsessive attention to detail. You know he means well. He cares about y—”
“Okay, sounds like we’re done here,”
North interrupted.
“Bye West!”
Kaelin got out before he hit the end call button. Kaelin looked over at North and smirked, kissing him on the cheek. She still looked a little annoyed, but then her eyes shuttered and she squirmed in his lap. I couldn’t see his hands but I knew what he was doing just by watching her face flush.
“See, that wasn’t so bad,”
North murmured.
“You can’t fix everything with sex,”
she tried to argue, but it wasn’t very convincing.
I chuckled. “I beg to differ.”
“Me too,”
North said, running his nose over the curve of her ear. He growled against her neck.
“I should ban you from ever wearing panties,”
North muttered, and I assumed his fingers had found their way under her skirt.
“Theron, I have a meeting in—”
She looked at the computer clock. “Two minutes.”
“In fact, I’m putting that policy into effect immediately,”
North said, ignoring her comment. “Take them off.”
“Theron…”
She stood up and looked over at me but I just shrugged. I bit my lip and raked my eyes down her body.
“I’d do as he says, princess.”
Kaelin narrowed her eyes at me first then turned back to North, seeming to assess whether he was serious and if she wanted to risk whatever he’d do to her if she didn’t listen.
“Don’t make me ask again,”
he said, his voice dangerously low.
Fuck. I loved when he did that. The way he commanded her was provocative and dangerous.
Her hands slowly crept under her dress, and she pulled her panties down. They only got as far as her thighs before North pulled his knife out and quickly sliced through both legs, pulling the ruined clothing away from her body and stuffing it into his pocket. North spun her around and pulled her back onto his lap, throwing her legs wide over his.
“Fuck, I have to start my meeting,”
Kaelin protested.
“Then start it,”
North murmured in her ear.
His hands traveled up her thighs as he slid the chair forward so she could access her keyboard.
“That’s not a good idea,”
she mumbled but I saw her eyes shutter and he must have found her clit.
“Do it, darlin’,”
he said. “Graham, come here.”
When I got around to the other side of the desk, I saw North rubbing circles on her clit as she pulled up her teams chat app and hovered the mouse over the “join”
button. He looked up at me with a devilish look in his eyes and his lips crept up into a smirk.
“Edge her,”
North said with a wicked gleam in his eyes.
“Okay, you guys have to be quiet,”
Kaelin hissed.
I knelt down between their legs and ran my hands up Kaelin’s thighs. I heard the mouse click and then chatter came out of the speakers.
“Hey everyone—”
Kaelin said.
I kissed up her thighs.
“We have a lot to talk about today—”
Kaelin’s eyes nervously met mine briefly as I hovered close to her pussy.
“First, I want to bring up the Gallagher project—”
She maintained eye contact with me as I slowly brought my mouth to her clit, then she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
“Where are we with that one?”
She asked.
My tongue started the slow pace I knew would work her up. Her hands gripped the arms of her desk chair.
“Okay, but you’re figuring that roadblock out, Josh?”
Kaelin asked, cutting off one of her people. “Are we still on track for the deadline?”
She squirmed in North’s lap but he held her thighs firmly with his hands. As he watched me, one of his hands snaked its way up her side and under her shirt.
“Good—”
The word came out a little breathless. “Bill, did we fix the bug–in the new release?”
Her eyes closed and her lips parted slightly as I continued licking her pussy. One hand slid along her opening where she was quickly growing wet. Someone must have said something she didn’t like because her eyes snapped open and sharpened briefly.
“Okay, but Bill—why is that team of developers taking so long? Do we need to re-evaluate—”
Bill interrupted her and I slid two fingers into her pussy. She slapped a hand over her mouth to cover up a moan as I hooked them and rubbed that perfect spot.
“I want a status report—by end of day,”
Kaelin managed. “I want to remind everyone about the communication protocols. Comments are essential—”
She closed her eyes again and a look of pleasure flashed across her face before she could speak again. “I need to be able to go in and get the info I need.”
She grew wet around my fingers and she subtly pressed her hips against my mouth. North kissed her neck, amusement on her face as she was now visibly flushed and close to panting in his lap.
“Lily, I have a few meetings this week regarding that—I’ll look into it,”
Kaelin said in answer to someone’s question.
“We need to get back to the design team regarding the Titan project,”
Kaelin said. “What are some issues you’re all seeing with that and are the notes complete for the meeting tomorrow?”
It must have been an in depth topic because she threw her head back against North and mouthed a few curse words as she squirmed. An audible gasp escaped her lips but no one seemed to notice. North caught my eye and gave a subtle nod to let her come and my tongue and fingers worked her closer. A moment later she sat back up, slammed her finger down on the mute button and looked down at me. Her breathing was erratic and she let out a whimper. I could tell she was close.
“Oh god,”
she moaned. “Yes—yes…”
Then she was coming. North slammed a hand over her mouth as she got loud.
“Come all over his face, pretty girl,”
he growled in her ear as he held her through the aftershocks.
My mouth didn’t let up until I felt her start to come down. I withdrew my fingers, covered in her come and stuck them into my mouth, licking them off one after the other.
“Kaelin—”
A voice had her jumping towards her computer. She was flushed a pretty pink and her eyes were glazed as the pleasure continued to run through her in the afterglow.
“Yes, that looks good,” she said.
I smirked and got to my feet. My hand snaked into her hair and pulled her up for a quiet kiss. I could tell she wanted to sink into me but another person demanded her attention in the meeting. An annoyed look crossed her face.
“I feel like there’s some room for improvement there—”
North stood up and smoothed her skirt down. He pulled her in for a kiss too before we quietly left her office, leaving her to the rest of her work day. We got to the elevator when our phones both went off with a text.
“Jesus…”
I muttered.
North pulled it up and he rubbed his hand over his jaw. “Damn.”
It was a picture of her sitting back in her office chair. Her legs spread, one propped up on the chair with a perfect view under her skirt.
“I like the no panties rule,”
I smirked at North as he chuckled and pocketed his phone.
“Me too.”
I followed North through the front doors of Alpha One and met Nyx in the War Room.
“I thought you were going to Phox?” I said.
“The team is in position,”
Nyx reported to North first then turned to me. “I sent Atlas. He’s posted up across the street.”
“Wait—position for what?” I asked.
It sounded suspiciously like a job was in progress.
“They’re taking down the architects of the maps today,”
North explained.
“Maps?”
“Vetticus would have maps designed for the games. Think of Call of Duty maps—like that but real life,”
Nyx answered. “We took out the board members, now the architects—we’re working to cripple Atrox.”
“I see,”
I grumbled.
Except I was still lost.
“Why not just take Vetticus out?” I asked.
They both turned to me with equally blank expressions on their faces. It was North who finally raised his eyebrows and fixed me with a look.
“You of all people should understand,”
he said flatly.
I guess he was right. I didn’t know the extent of what Vetticus had done to them but it was something bad and North was right—I knew revenge intimately and I knew sometimes people deserved more than just a bullet.
“How can I help?” I asked.
“I want you to join Tex and his crew on their job,”
North said. “I’m having them hit a few warehouses this week.”
I nodded. “Alright—where?”
“One is here. The other two are Rome and Canada. They hit the local one tomorrow night.”
