Recipe Russian Tea

RECIPE: RUSSIAN TEA

Russian tea is a cozy warm spiced drink that is a perfect warmup on a cold winter day. Make up a few jars in advance, but be carefully about letting them get damp, as the orange drink will solidify into a solid, sticky mass.

Ingredients:

2 c orange drink mix (such as Tang)

1 c unsweetened instant tea mix (decaf, if desired)

2 c lemonade mix (such as Country Time)

2 t ground cinnamon

1 t ground cloves

Directions:

Stir all the ingredients together in a big bowl and fill up individual (DRY) mason jars that can be well-sealed.

Ingredients will separate, so give your jar a shake before scooping 2 heaping teaspoons into a mug of hot water to enjoy.

Decorated with ribbons or fabric, these jars make beautiful gifts!
