Chapter Ten

Lauren

Brad is killing me with his teasing. Every time he gets me close he stops. Bringing me right to the edge. Not that I want to orgasm at a table with my family and future sister-in-law. But, at this point I’d take the relief.

Brad’s hand is wandering back up my thigh when I toss my napkin on my lap and cover his hand before clenching my thighs shut tight.

“Well, I think we’re going to head back to the hotel. We are just so tired from the long travel day. We’ve been up since about three this morning.” I fake a huge yawn.

“Oh of course, honey, do you need Daddy to walk you back or do you know where you’re going?” God I love my parents so much, but I swear they still helicopter even after I hit thirty. And the very last thing I want right now is my father as a chaperone.

“We’re okay Mrs. Bradshaw, I remember the way.” Brad stands, and turns to offer his hand closest to the table, adjusting himself secretly with the other.

After hugging everyone goodbye and giving promises to see them tomorrow we are finally away from my family and on our way back through Harborwalk.

I’ve never been so happy to see a hotel appear in front of me.

We practically run to the elevator and I smash the button to go up to the sixth floor. The doors ding open immediately and we step in. As soon as the doors close Brad is on me, his hand slipping under the slit he memorized during dinner.

All too soon the elevator stops and the doors start to open. Brad jumps off me and stands next to me, straightening his tie. An elderly couple gets on and gives us some serious side eye, letting us know that they know what we were doing and do not approve. At least the wife. The older man shoots Brad a wink, causing Brad to try and cover his chuckle with a cough.

The elevator lands on the sixth floor, doors whooshing open as we run out before they even finish opening all the way.

“Have a good night!” I yell behind me as Brad drags me to our room. He fumbles with his wallet to get the key card out one handed. His other hand holds a death grip on mine, like he’s afraid I’m going to slip away.

“Fuck.” He drops his wallet on the floor. I lean down to pick it up, holding it out to him so he can pull the key out.

“Sorry. This isn’t sexy is it?” He lets go of my hand to get the door open and holds it for me to step through.

The door clicks shut and I turn to look at Brad, a flash of uncertainty crosses his face before he pulls me back to him and spins both of us so my back is pressed against the door. His forearms rest on the door on either side of my head, and his hips push into mine, blocking me in with the delicious weight of his body.

“I’m not going to be gentle, so tell me now if that isn’t okay,” he whispers into my ear.

“If you’re not inside me in the next five seconds we’re going to have a problem,” I say back courageously.

“Careful what you wish for, L.” He leans back, ripping the small straps of my dress so it falls to the floor leaving me bare to him.

“Fuck.” He bites his lip taking in every inch of my body, but leaving me no room to shy away from his stare.

Within a split second his lips are on me. Licking, kissing, tasting every inch of my body from my neck down. He drops to his knees, throwing my leg over his shoulder to open me to him.

His large hand cups a breast and gently pushes me into the door to hold me in place, the other hand grips my ass to pull me to him. Before my brain can register what he’s going to do, his tongue touches my clit and I buck off the door at the sudden touch.

“Stay still, gorgeous. I’m going to give you the orgasm I deprived you of at dinner.” He smiles up at me.

His mouth sets a punishing pace and since I’m so keyed up from dinner it doesn’t take long before my hands are grasping at his short hair and I’m screaming his name into the darkness of the room.

He kisses his way back up my body while I’m still trembling from the orgasm and when he’s standing again, he throws me over his shoulder.

He tosses me on the bed and I back up to the pillows, never cutting eye contact with him. He sheds his clothes and jumps on top of me once again.

“Need. Inside you. Now,” he breathes out between kisses.

“Not yet.” I say smiling. I shimmy out from underneath him, and push him over so he’s sitting now, his long legs stretched out on the bed. I crawl between his legs before taking him in my mouth.

“Fucking hell, L,” he hisses out his pleasure.

I slide down his cock with my lips, taking all of him in. His hands are fisted in my hair, pulling pleasurably, urging me on.

I can tell he’s getting close when I cup his balls, my mouth all the way down to his base.

He pulls me off him and up his body, setting me so I’m straddling him.

“Inside you. Now,” he demands a little stronger than before.

“Happily.” I hover my pussy right over him for a moment before slamming my body down on his.

He grips my hips hard, following my rhythm.

We’re both close, so close. “Fuck. I wasn’t thinking. I’m so sorry.” He tosses me on the bed, hovering over me when I give him a questioning glance.

“I don’t have a condom. I wasn’t thinking this would happen,” he admits.

“I’m on the pill. Get inside me now.”

He smiles at my admission.

“Yes ma’am.” He flips me over onto my knees and slams into me, harder and deeper than before.

“Brad!” I yell out, reaching back to find my clit. He swats my hand out of the way and takes over himself.

It doesn’t take long before we’re both screaming out our pleasure and collapsing on the bed together. We move toward the pillows and lay there entangled in each other before falling asleep without another word.

I awake to the brightest sun I’ve ever experienced streaming through the windows. A heavy arm across my body, holding me tight to a warm body. Brad’s even, soft breaths let me know he’s still asleep.

The panic starts racing through my mind. Last night I was on a high from his touch at dinner.

What did we do?

We can’t go back from this. We probably couldn’t from the first kiss. I’ve messed everything up. My feelings are sealed now. I can never watch him love someone else. Not knowing how seriously good we are together in every sense. I try to get out of his embrace, but he wakes up.

“Nope. Not letting you go. Even if you’re panicking,” he mumbles into the pillow.

“I’m not—”

“You are. I can feel your heart racing. You’re panicking that things are going to be different now.” He shifts both of us so we are facing each other, laying on the pillows only inches apart, he stares into my eyes.

“I just… Brad… How can we?” I stammer.

He kisses my forehead. “I want you.”

He kisses my cheek. “I want this.” His hands roam over my body.

He kisses my lips. “Last night was unforgettable. I want it all again, preferably right now.”

He rolls me on top of him. Of course he wants this. Last night was mind blowing. But does he want all the feelings too?

“Stop furrowing that brow. It means you’re thinking too hard before coffee.” He smooths my skin with his thumb.

A knock on the door interrupts us again. I’m about to go request a room change so no one knows where we are.

“Room service,” sounds from the other side of the door.

I hop off Brad, and roll over on to the bed covering myself with the blanket. He grabs the sheet wrapping it around his waist, still leaving his glorious chest visible to whomever is on the other side of the door. He picks up a few dollars off the floor from where he threw his wallet last night before he pinned me against the door. My cheeks heat at the memory.

When the door opens a cart full of breakfast items is revealed, pancakes, fruit, eggs, bacon. He pulls the cart inside, handing the bellhop a ten dollar bill and shutting the door behind him.

“Mmm, that smells so good. I didn’t realize how hungry I was,” I admit, licking my lips.

“Well then, let’s fix that.” He scoops me up and brings me out to the balcony, then places the cart of food in front of the two chairs.

“Brad, I can’t eat out here naked!” I try to cover my body.

“Yes, you can. We’re facing the ocean, remember? No one is out there right now and even if they were, let them see.” He drops his sheet to join me.

“You’re crazy!” I grab at the sheet from the floor, but he’s holding it to the floor with his foot.

“I’m not. But what I am, is enjoying my view with breakfast.” He pours two cups of coffee, and adds the perfect amount of cream to my cup before handing it to me.

“You know it’s dangerous to drink hot coffee while naked.” I smile over the lip of my coffee cup.

“I like to live on the edge.” He winks at me and I realize I’m losing this battle.

Giving up, I grab a fork and stab a pancake to add to my plate.

“So what’s on the itinerary for today?” he asks.

I chuckle before pulling up the document on my phone. Vivian sent everyone an itinerary last night at dinner full of events leading up to the wedding day. And I mean full .

“Well today looks like it’s going to be beach olympics and it says to check the closets of the hotel room for our outfits.” I smirk as he jumps up and runs into the room.

He returns with a gift bag and a smile on his face. “I think I like these.”

He pulls out a deep red bikini from the bag, the same color as our dresses, it’s a strapless top, and cheeky bottoms. I snatch it out of his hands and hold it up to my body, there’s no way this is going to cover any part of me appropriately. I look further into the bag and laugh hard, throwing my head back.

“Oh, you did not look hard enough after you found this, did you?” I laugh, tears streaming down my face.

“No, why? I just thought your bathing suit was in there.” He looks worried, pulling the bag back from me as I hand it out to him.

He pulls out his bathing suit this time, and his jaw drops.

“Personally, I love it.” I say, still laughing.

In his hands is a speedo with Vivian’s face all over it and a Santa hat. I knew I loved my future sister-in-law.

“There’s no way in hell…” he says, his lips in a tight line.

“Oh you have to! Don’t make me call Vivian on you!” I pick up my phone.

“Don’t you dare!” He jumps over the table, grabbing me and hauling me to the bed.

Brad and I head down to the beach right outside the hotel lobby. Beautiful clear blue water stretches as far as you can see just a few steps out the door.

Vivian waves us over, jumping in the air, to where they are set up. Her beautiful long black hair is tied up in a bun while she wears the same bathing suit she gave all her bridesmaids, only in white. My brother is sporting the same speedo and Santa hat that was in Brad’s bag along with his groomsmen. Though Brad is currently wearing a regular bathing suit over the gift from Vivian, he is wearing the hat.

“Dude! You can’t leave us like this and not join! Where’s your suit?” my brother yells to Brad, gesturing at his speedo.

“You chose to marry her. Not me.” Brad shrugs as we walk up to the group.

“No, but you are with my sister so guilty by association?” Ethan pushes.

Brad’s laugh is deep and loud as he throws his head back, “Nice try at the legal jargon, but I don’t think we need a public indecency violation right before your wedding.”

“I don’t think they’re indecent at all.” Vivian pouts from the mimosa table.

Before Brad can figure me out, I step behind him and rip his bathing suit down, revealing the speedo in question. He whips around to face me and his jaw is slack, the look of horror on his face until he realizes it’s me. Then a devilish smirk replaces his features.

“Oh, L. You will pay for that.” He calmly steps out of his bathing suit and reaches for me. I evade him and take off running, he follows me.

I spot my Dad a few feet away and take a sharp right turn to sit by him. Brad wouldn’t dare retaliate in front of him. I’m a Daddy’s girl through and through. Everyone knows that. But the way Brad is still stalking me, makes me question my choices.

“Bradley, I know you aren’t about to retaliate against my little princess are you?” Dad asks without even looking up from his book.

Brad straightens and looks at him, “Of course not Mr. Bradshaw. I would never.” He stops right behind my father’s chair and motions with his fingers that he’s watching me.

I settle into the lounge chair I chose and breathe easy knowing my daddy will protect me. For now at least.

“Baby girl, you really shouldn’t embarrass him like that,” he says, eyeing me over the top of his book.

“I was just helping Vivian.” I smile sweetly back at him.

“Sure thing, baby girl. But just know when your Mom gets here we’re going snorkeling and leaving you kids to these Olympics shenanigans Vivian insists on. So you’re living on borrowed time.” He laughs, leans over and kisses the top of my head.

“Oh. Well, maybe there’s room for one more with you snorkeling.” I laugh putting my straw hat on to prevent a burn on my face. I pull out my book and start reading, relishing the safety while I have it.

Right as I’m about to start my second chapter, Mom walks over to the set of chairs Dad and I are sitting in.

“Are you ready for our snorkeling date?” She sits at the end of Dad’s lounge chair.

“Ready as I’ll ever be I suppose,” he grumbles, closing his book.

“Lauren! Come on, we're starting the volleyball game!” Vivian yells to me, waving me over.

I look at Brad who has a big smirk on his face, but he’s sporting his speedo and Santa hat. I gulp deeply when he starts walking over to me.

“Good luck, baby girl.” Dad warns over his shoulder as he and Mom walk to the marina for their snorkeling date.

Brad wraps his arm around my middle when I stand to join Vivian. “You’ve got no one to save you now,” he whispers in my ear.

“Well, lucky for me it’s volleyball time. And we don’t want to disappoint Vivian.” I nod in her direction, she’s standing, staring at us with her hands on her hips.

He looks behind him and sees her, “Guess you’re safe, for now . Let’s go.” He throws me over his shoulder.

“Brad! Put me down!” I yell out while hitting his shoulder.

He places me in front of Vivian, “Here you go Vivian. One unwilling volleyball player just for you.”

Vivian kisses his cheek, “Thank you Bradley, my knight in shining speedo, for bringing the bride such wonderful gifts!” she jokes as she squeezes me tight. “This is going to be so fun!” She squeals and skips off to the girls’ side of the net with the rest of her friends, while Brad leaves me for the boys’ side.

After a close game, thanks only to the buckets of beer the waiter kept delivering to the boys, and the two girls in the bridal party who actually played volleyball in high school, the girls won. The bride is thrilled to have bragging rights. But as soon as we finished, she set out to show us the rest of the games planned and I can already tell it is going to be an exhausting day.

“Hey, babe, why don’t we take a break and head into the ocean for a minute. I’d really like some time with the future Mrs. Bradshaw.” Ethan ducks under the net, sauntering to Vivian, wrapping his arms around her.

“Maybe. What do you have in mind?” she asks, flirting with him by running her fingers gently on his chest.

He leans down and whispers in her ear, and the giggle that comes from Vivian makes me ninety percent sure I don’t want to think about what my brother just promised her.

I turn to go back to the mimosa table, in search of drink and food when I’m scooped up in someone’s arms.

I stiffen, knowing that payback is coming my way.

Brad runs with me off the beach and into a small cove of trees in the pools from low tide.

“What are you doing?” I squeak out just before he places me back on the ground.

He stalks toward me, backing me against a tree. His mouth crashes to mine. “You look so sexy in that bathing suit.”

His hands roam over my body. Slipping into the barely there bikini bottoms I have on.

“Brad. We’re…there’s people,” I pant out between kisses.

“Who cares? I’m just making out with my girlfriend.” He shrugs and goes back to kissing me without a care in the world.

He teases me, circling my clit, but not giving me what I need. He goes slow, building my need for him. Right as I’m getting close he pulls out and kisses me once more.

He pulls back from me with a shit eating grin on his face.

“What? What are you doing?” I ask, leaning on the tree out of breath, ready to beg him to come back.

“Payback, L. We’ll finish when we get back to the room later. If you behave the rest of the day.” He takes my hand and pulls me back to the beach for more games, a pout on my lips.

Vivian runs over to me with a wide grin across her face when we get back to the group. Squealing with excitement, she grabs my hand. “Lauren, come on! You’re going to be my partner for cornhole!”

She leans in to whisper, “And we’re going to kick their asses.” She points at Brad and Ethan.

I follow her unwillingly as she pulls my arm out of its socket.
