Chapter 35

Chapter Thirty-Five

EVO

A tug on my arm has me opening my eyes, only to find LeX standing above me. He motions for me to be quiet then down to the still sleeping Qwin who is practically draped over me.

The shoulder she is laying on has fallen asleep and I have to make myself hold still as it starts tingling all over. Scooting to the edge of the lounger, I raise up slowly, making sure not to move her too much. LeX motions towards the girl who is still hovering above the bed and I shake my head. So that he knows there’s been no change. He frowns, then nods his head for us to go on.

Instead of leaving immediately, I take a second to look at him. He does appear slightly more rested. At least, he has changed garments and his extremely long hair has been tamed back, now in its normal casing.

Qwin starts squirming on my chest and I pat her back, soothing her as I hold her against me. Turning , I head towards the lift. My thoughts still slightly off as sleep tries to pull me back under. The moment I walk into my chambers, I hit the button for the viewer to darken and gently lay Qwin down on the bed. Easing off her shoes, I crawl in next to her, drawing the blankets up over us. Sleep instantly claiming me once more.

It seemed like as quick as I went to sleep; I reawakened. Soft snores come from the other side of the bed where Qwin has stretched out practically shoving me off the side. With a drowsy smile. I tiptoe across the room not activating the refreshing room’s light until the door is closed all the way.

Leaning over the sink, I run my hand through my unruly hair, regretting cutting it this short because I can’t tie it out of my face. Tugging these wrinkled old clothes off, I step into the Ionizer . I had just gotten out and was cleaning my teeth at the far sink when the door slides open.

Through the viewer, I can see Qwin leaning against the wall, her arms crossed as her eyes walk up and down my body. “ Enjoying the view?”

“ You have no idea. That is one fine ass you have there, Captain .”

“ I kinda like it when you say my title in that tone. I think you look uncomfortable. Would you like me to help you get out of all those clothes?”

“ As tempting as you are right now, the Destroyer just woke me up to remind us that the others are gathering in the lounge area.”

My eyes never leave hers as she walks in the room with a slight frown on her face. “ What is it?”

“ Hold still.” She runs her fingers across the raised runes on my back. “ Did someone do this to you?”

“ What ?”

“ This looks like a brand, but the skin is not damaged in any way.”

“ It’s not a brand, I was born with that mark. Mine is rare, most runes are bright and tend to move under the skin. I am sure you have witnessed ViN’s .” She nods her head as she traces the raised skin with her finger. “ Mine is located under the skin, part of the actual muscle. That’s one of the reasons I wear my vest, it’s sensitive to the touch.”

“ How so?”

I look at her and then down at my hardened shaft.

“ Ohh , I see. Yeah , that would make things slightly uncomfortable especially if someone simply brushes up against you. Now that I know this is here. I will be tempted to see how much touch you can withstand before having to take matters in your own hands.”

“ You are tempting enough without playing my body against me, little one.” I turn, grabbing her, her giggles lightening my heart. Just as I am lowering my lips for this kiss I have come to crave; the Destroyer’s voice comes over the speakers.

“ Captain EvO , Mistress Qwin , they are awaiting your arrival. I have had refreshments placed in the lounge room and have encouraged them to gather their questions. So that they are not asking the same things over and over.”

Snarling , I see Qwin bite her lip to keep from laughing. “ I’ll get dressed, give me five. You might want to do something with that anaconda. Mr . Ribbed For Her Pleasure there is hard to miss.”

Kissing her forehead, I make myself walk out of the room. The aggravation of not being able to enjoy her further is enough for my arousal to diminish completely on its own. Yanking on the first thing I find in my closet. I was just buttoning my vest when Qwin comes twirling in.

“ What do you think?”

“ That I want to hide you away, so that no other can gaze at your lovely legs.”

“ Oh , quit it, do you like the dress? Ember had the Destroyer make this for me last night while we were asleep. Look , even these cute little flats match. I just want to stand in the middle of the room twirl the skirt around. It’s so playful. She even set up a makeup station for me. Ember is quite handy to have around.”

“ Wait until you meet SAGE , you will be pampered nonstop. The garment is quite fetching, Qwin . The color makes your unique eyes even brighter. You make it hard for a male to keep his hands to himself.”

“ Is that so?”

“ You are a treat; I would love to feast upon.”

“ You say the craziest things, EvO . Come on, before we both get distracted. We have several waiting on us, and I would prefer not to look like I’ve just been ravished, when I have to face all of them.”

“ You better head out that door then because my mind is rolling through the multiple excuses I can use to keep you to myself this rising.”
