Chapter 5 – Percy

PERCY

M ack and I are walking up the walkways toward the beach to meet with the ceremony planner to make sure they have everything settled for tomorrow. We’re walking past the resort’s main pool where everyone is allowed to swim and, lo-and-behold, there’s our pilot leaning against the poolside watching as the two flight attendants suck face in front of him.

“Oh shit, Percy, look, it’s th—” I shush him while we keep watching the three of them, being absolute creeps.

Picking them up in one arm each, he spins with the two women to push them against the poolside without even breaking them apart.

Fuck they’re hot together. And knowing they’re co-workers with their boss…

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Mack bring his finger to his mouth to let out a wolf whistle. That grabs their attention, and he yells out, “Get it! You three look so h?—”

I throw my hand up in apology. “Carry on, sorry about him.” I’m shoving him toward the building where I’m sure the planner is waiting on us, and start to tear into him, “Your ass never learns, do you? A cage around your cock, and you’re still looking for more punishment?”

He shrugs. “They needed some encouragement.”

“I think they had all they needed.” Thankfully it looked like they had been drinking. Empty margarita glasses were beside them on the pool deck. Let’s just hope they don’t remember that little interaction in the morning.

“Loe?” We open the door to the resort center, and Mack walks up to one of the people who looks like they work here.

“Mack and Percy?” She reaches her hand out to shake.

I grab her hand and give it a shake. “It’s so nice to meet you, Loe, and thank you so much for showing us the ceremony space beforehand. This one right here has been stressing over every little detail.”

Mack points to his chest where a name tag would be, conveying to me, “Percy, just so you know, they use non-binary pronouns.” Mack smiles at them and they return a beaming one. I give them both a nod, and we all carry on to the outside space.

Fuck I feel bad gendering them in my head.

We follow Loe through the huge sliding glass doors that face the beautiful beach. Not even fifty steps out the doors, our feet hit the sand as we toe off our shoes. The set up itself isn’t anything special, just a blocked-off section of the beach where they have a basic arch and a couple of chairs set out, letting the scenery be the real focal point. The lagoon is breathtaking enough on its own. We have a boat tour booked for the day after the wedding to snorkel the reef that also lines the island. Before an abundant amount of research last week, I had no clue Bora Bora has a damn lagoon… I learn something new every day.

Loe is explaining the schedule for tomorrow and what time we will all need to arrive, and all I can focus on is how lucky I am that my soul was brought here to live this life. Mack is fully immersed in the conversation, and I find myself staring at the side of his head, openly appreciating the faded sides of his haircut and the bleached out longer hair on the top that Blair has perfected.

The thought hits me, like it has so many times over the past week.

I get to marry my two best friends. Both of them.

My love for each of them is so different, and I never think there’s a way to fall in love with them any deeper, then I watch them with each other. My heart nearly bursts every time I see them showing one another love. No matter what the law sees our relationship or commitment as, it doesn’t matter. They’ll both always and forever, be mine.

We wrap things up with Loe and stop by the restaurant on the resort to ensure it’s good to go for after the ceremony as well. Mack had the whole place rented out… for the five people that are going to be attending our wedding. But I didn’t rain on his parade. This is the only time we’re doing this so we might as well go big… right?

We walk hand-in-hand along the boardwalk back to our bungalow. ? 2 I sigh, “We needed this vacation so badly, Baby Boy.”

“That I can agree with.” He looks up at me with the sun setting behind his head over the horizon and the glow omitting from his green eyes, making him look ethereal. “But I can’t wait to get out of this cock cage.” And there go the serious thoughts scrambling my head.

“That’s if I don’t tell Mar about the stunt you pulled at the pool…” I tease, but sw itch back to my serious tone. “I know I don’t say this enough, but I am deeply thankful for you and Mar. Having both of you doesn’t even seem possible, but it is. I have to pinch myself daily when thinking about it. I love you Mack, beyond words… beyond lifetimes, and beyond anything our soul can comprehend.” I stop in my tracks, pushing him against the railing on the boardwalk.

I grab his face, running both of my thumbs over his smile lines. Those little lines truly show how happy he always is. I place my lips against his, barely holding back the need to ravage him in the most animalistic way. He pulls away enough to murmur, “I love you so much, Percy. I never thought I would get married or find my person, but I found two. You both have woven into my soul, and I hope the thread never gets pulled out.”

“Come on, Baby, let’s go get our missing piece.” I’m sure she and Blair have gotten into all kinds of trouble since we’ve been gone.
