M y Sunshine is a fucking delight.
Michael broke out into a slow grin as he left the house, after sweeping up the mess they’d made with the sheetrock in the living room.
That was so freaking awesome.
This woman.
She was like no one he’d ever met. Yes, he’d met his fair share of celebrities in his line of work. No, he didn’t like many of them.
But Samantha was different. And not just because his Wolf wanted to bend her over the sofa and fuck her until she was dripping his cum, screaming his name, and wearing his mating mark.
Fuck .
His dick pulsed beneath his jeans, and his chest was rumbling with the force of his growl. It was all Michael could do to not turn around, march back inside, and do just that.
Calm down, he ordered his Wolf.
The beast let out one more rolling snarl before he allowed Michael to continue towards his truck.
She was his mate, though. That much was true.
Holy fuck.
Michael had met his fated mate. Finally.
She was really something. Not the stuck-up, spoiled princess he’d expected. Oh no. She surprised him with her frankness and grit, her down-to-earth attitude and no holds barred conversation.
Michael smiled wider.
His Sunshine was not at all the type of woman he’d expected when his aunt made him promise to drop in on her today.
She was fiery and not afraid to duke it out with him, as so many of his acquaintances were. In his business, he’d learned to be tough. Most people thought he was a bit of a shark, but it wasn’t true. He simply loved a good design and when it came to building, he demanded the very best. Nothing else would do.
Michael was more than intrigued. He would oversee this job personally. He had a feeling working one on one with Samantha was exactly what she needed to get used to the idea of being his.
Of course, he’d explain all the supernatural implications after.
Hell yeah, he was going to make sure all her dreams about her home came true. He frowned, shifting his truck into drive. The sound of gravel rolling beneath his tires was loud, but he ignored it.
Poor little thing was worried about money. She was proud, didn’t want to take anything that her ex could try to use against her.
Michael understood that. Still, her ex was a real piece of shit, but that was Michael’s problem now.
He’d make sure Samantha was safe from that creep. His Wolf would stand for nothing less.
Whatever happened, he knew one thing and one thing only as the absolute truth, and that was this.
Samantha belonged to him. He was going to claim the human female and make her his in every sense of the word. He would lift her up. Be the man she deserved. And in the end, well, in the end, hopefully, she’d fall for him like he was already falling for her.
