CHAPTER SIXTY-ONE
ADRIAN
“So, Mom says you have a boyfriend,” Amelia says, her voice booming over the speakers in my car as I drive home.
I laugh. “I suppose so. What else did she say?”
“Not much. She overheard your convo with Dad. Said she had no clue about any of it. Dad never let on about anything.”
“Yeah, but it’s not like I could even open up to her. Dad wasn’t the only one who made little homophobic jokes.”
“Some people will always be homophobic assholes, but sometimes people can change and grow. Especially when it comes to their kid.”
“Are you saying Mom is capable of growth and change?”
“She didn’t say anything too crazy. She asked if I knew. She said she, quote, doesn’t know what it means, end quote.” Amelia laughs. “I don’t even know what she means.”
“Well, I guess we’ll see how things develop, but it’ll be hard to forgive Dad for everything. Plus, Mom was also on board with this forced wedding.”
“Well, she said Dad told her you and Charlotte had been secretly hooking up anyway. So, she presumed there were some sort of feelings there already. ”
I scoff, shaking my head. “So Dad just lied to everyone.”
“Basically. Mom seemed a little pissed about it.”
“Regardless, I’m not taking any steps. So if they want to make a change or show some effort, then it’s on them to reach out.”
“Yeah. I understand. But when do I meet the boyfriend,” she says in a sing-song voice.
“Let’s give it a minute,” I say with a laugh. “We still have some stuff to talk about.”
“Fine. It’s almost August now, so I’ll give you until November. I’ll have time off around then for Thanksgiving, and I expect to be invited over.”
“Okay.” I chuckle. “Thanks for feeding me the gossip. Let me know if they have anything else to say about me.”
“Will do.”
“Love you.”
“Love you more.”
Once she’s off the line, I bring up Matías’s name and press call . It rings a couple times before he answers.
“Hello?”
“Hi,” I say, a stupid smile on my face. “I’m on my way home.”
“Oh, that’s good.” I can hear the joy in his voice. “What time?”
I glance at the GPS. “Maybe around four-thirty.”
“Okay, well, I have an idea if you’re up for it.”
“I’m up for anything.”
“You come home, eat, shower, change, and do whatever you need to do to prepare yourself for a night with me.”
My smile is wide when I reply. “Okay. And then I go to your house?”
“No. I’ll send you an address. I’ll meet you there.”
“Do I need to wear anything specific? ”
“Nothing specific, no. I’ll bring what you need.”
“Hmm,” I murmur, biting on my lip. “I’m intrigued.”
“Good.”
“I can’t wait to see you.”
“I can’t wait either,” he says, voice softening a little. “Drive safely. Text me when you make it home.”
“I will.”
There’s a brief pause. “Bye.”
“Bye.”
I increase my speed just a little, desperate to get home.
To get to him.
I pull into my driveway at four-fifteen, so I know Matías is still at work. I send him a message that I’ve arrived safely, then I eat a sandwich and clean up the house a little before I hop into the shower.
While I clean myself, I think about him watching me in the shower in the hotel. My time with Matías, both now and back in college, has brought me so many new experiences. Things I’ve never thought of doing or trying have filled me with so much excitement. I know now that if there’s anything he ever wants to do, I’m highly unlikely to say no. I haven’t had a lot of time to try out new things, so I’m definitely willing to take advantage now. So if that means watching him through his window, or having him watch me through the phone, or whatever he has planned for tonight, I will meet it with exhilaration.
My cock hardens as I think about him. I give it a few strokes, but then force myself to stop. I’ll be seeing him soon. I don’t need to come now. I want him to have all of it.
After I rinse, I step out and decide to send him a photo. It’s mostly my torso, hinting at the short-trimmed curls around my cock.
Currently preparing for tonight. What about you?
Jesus Christ.
I smirk and put the phone down, reaching for a towel. I dry off my body, and then my hair before I grab the bottle of lotion.
My phone vibrates on the counter. Matías has sent another message.
I’m also preparing.
A photo comes in afterward, and it’s a shot of his bed, but on top of the covers is a variety of objects that have my lips parting.
A flogger and riding crop get my attention first, then I notice some leather straps and a thin chain. Beside those is a small silver object with a diamond on one end.
I stare at the phone for a while, unsure how to respond. I just keep looking at everything in the picture and imagine how everything will be used.
I’m excited and a little nervous.
Don’t be nervous. You know I’ll take care of you.
My heart flutters, and I quickly finish getting ready. I decide to wear a pair of black chinos and a dark gray button-up.
I’m ready.
93073 West Anders Avenue, Wyndgrove MI
I’ll meet you at the gate.
Okay. See you soon.
