CHAPTER THIRTEEN
F elicity couldn’t find the strength to open her eyes until Luxor spoke. The sight of him kneeling between her legs, his head poised above her pussy, almost made her come all over again. The ridges on his skull were flushed dark green, and his black eyes glowed with heat.
“Yes,” she whispered.
He immediately rose and stripped off his pants. Oh. My. God. She knew he was big, but feeling the massive ridge of his erection beneath his pants was not the same as seeing it uncovered. His cock jutted up towards his navel, impossibly thick and hard, covered with the same raised nubs as the rest of his skin. A broad band circled his shaft just beneath the wide, flat head, and another circled the base of his shaft.
She extended a tentative hand and they both shuddered as she stroked the heated flesh. The nubs teased her fingers and she shuddered again as she imagined them stroking the inside of her channel.
“You’re so big.”
“Does that alarm you?”
“N-no.”
Her voice didn’t come out as certain as she would have liked and he frowned. He started to pull back and she quickly wrapped her hand around as much of his shaft as she could. He was so thick she couldn’t come close to encircling him.
“Don’t go. I want this. I want you.”
“Are you sure?” His tail circled her wrist and gently pulled her hand away. “You are very small.”
“A woman’s body is designed to stretch.” That sounded more confident, despite the nervous little shivers racing down her spine. “We just need to take it slowly.”
“Slowly. Yes. I should prepare you.” He sounded as if he were talking to himself rather than her, but she nodded eagerly.
“Yes. Preparation is good.”
He joined her on the bed, lying on his side next to her instead of covering her with his body. His tail slipped between her thighs and began to tease her folds again.
“Then I will take my time.”
Oh, God. She remembered the teasing touches from before and the shivers intensified.
“I don’t think I’m going to last that long.”
“You will.” His tail probed gently at the entrance to her channel. “I can be a patient warrior.”
His tail pushed inside and she gasped, her hands reaching for his shoulders, clinging to them as the thickening stalk invaded her body.
“You are very tight,” he murmured, his tail thrusting slowly.
Her hands slipped off of his slick skin, and he laughed softly, putting her arms over his head instead. The new position brought her breasts to his chest and the sensation of his pebbled surface against her sensitive nipples sent a rush of pleasure to her needy clit.
“Oh, yes.”
“You like that?” His hand came up to play with her other breast as his tail increased the pressure. “Do you feel me, t’davi?”
“Y-yes.” Each stroke sent a pulse of fire along her nerve endings.
“I’m stretching you, making you ready to take me. To take all of me.”
His tail expanded, the stretch so intense that she thought she would split open. The pain lasted just long enough to panic her, and then it turned into an aching pleasure. Her hands clung to his head, and she realized that she was stroking his ridges. He groaned, and his tail expanded again, stretching her even further. Her nails dug into the ridges, and his whole body shook.
“You like that, don’t you?” she whispered, stilling her hands.
“Yes,” he said hoarsely.
She began stroking again, gently at first and then harder as he groaned, and his tail plunged in and out of her pussy with increased eagerness. She felt her climax start to build, a tidal wave that threatened to sweep her away but she wanted him with her when that happened.
“Please, Luxor. Now. I need you now.”
His tail retreated as he rolled on top of her. His body covered hers, his weight sinking her into the bed, and she relished the feel of his strength. She parted her legs, cradling him in the V of her thighs as the heat of his cock probed her entrance. The wide head was so much thicker than his tail that she tensed.
“I won’t hurt you, t’davi. Trust me.”
“I do trust you.”
He pushed slowly, gently, and her body started to open…
An alarm shattered the quiet and he froze.
“What’s that?” she cried.
“Proximity alarm.”
He was already off of her and grabbing his pants. She scrambled after him, searching for her gown and trying not to feel bereft as the heat of arousal cooled from her skin. He was already gone by the time she was dressed, but she hurried after him. Carla followed her into the cockpit a minute later, her face pale. Bobby was clinging to one hand and a scared Nina was cradled against her other shoulder.
“Mama,” the little girl cried, launching herself towards Felicity.
She caught her automatically, cuddling her close as her eyes filled with tears. She hadn’t realized how much she wanted to hear that until that moment. Carla gave her a warm smile, her own eyes suspiciously bright.
“It’s all right, sweetheart. You’re safe.”
The alarm shut off, the silence ringing in her ears as Luxor sat back.
“Everything is fine. There is another ship but it is a long way off. I suspect it is also heading for Trevelor.”
“Trevelor? Already?”
“There.”
He pointed to the pink and purple dot that was rapidly growing larger in the viewscreen. She turned so that Nina could see it too, but she refused to raise her head from where it was buried against her shoulder.
“Look, sweetheart. Look how pretty it is. It’s your favorite color.”
Nina finally lifted her head a little, then smiled.
“Pink.”
“Yes, that’s right. It’s pink.”
Luxor’s eyes met hers over the little girl’s head and she saw the same delight on his face.
“How long before we arrive?”
He checked the console.
“Less than two hours.”
“Still long enough to go back to bed,” Carla said innocently, grinning when she blushed.
Her clit pulsed at the thought but she shook her head.
“I don’t think this little one is going back to sleep any time soon.”
“Okay. Just let me know when you’re ready for another sleepover.” The girl winked at her and left.
“The two of you should try and get some sleep,” Luxor urged.
“What about you?”
“Sleep is the furthest thing from my mind,” he said dryly, wincing as he adjusted his pants. “I have a few things to check before we land anyway.”
“All right. I’ll try to rest.” She kissed Nina’s head, then took a step closer to him. “Will you come find us when we land?”
“Of course.”
He brushed his lips against hers, then Nina tugged on his hand.
“Kiss,” she demanded.
He laughed and kissed her too. “I suspect someone is about to start making up for lost time.”
He was right. She put Nina down on the bed but instead of falling asleep the little girl was soon babbling happily to her doll. Not all of the words were intelligible but whatever had blocked her from speaking had clearly disappeared.
She smiled down at her, warmth filling her. Mama . It sounded so right. And Luxor should be her father.
She gave up on the idea of sleep and went to change. One look in the mirror made her wince. Her hair was in wild disarray, her lips pink and swollen, and there was an obvious trail of love bites down her neck. No wonder Carla had winked at her.
Once she was dressed, she and Nina returned to the cockpit. Nina demanded up and Luxor picked her up and put her on his lap, explaining everything they were seeing while the little girl babbled back. She wasn’t sure how much either of them really understood each other but they were so obviously content that her heart swelled. Nina belongs here , she decided. We both do. Now all they had to do was find Lauren.
By the time they landed, her nerves had returned. It seemed wrong to be so happy when her friend was still missing. She hoped desperately this wouldn’t prove to be a dead end.
He brought the ship down on a neat, clean landing area, surrounded by feather like trees in pretty pastels, then turned to her.
“I know I said this was a safe planet, and I know you would like to take Nina outside, but can you wait until I return?”
“You don’t want us to go with you?”
“Not until I have had a chance to ask a few questions.” A shadow crossed his face. “I do not want my reputation to taint your arrival.”
“I don’t care what anyone else thinks about you,” she said fiercely. “And I’d be happy to tell them so.”
“Thank you, t’davi. But please let me make some inquiries first.”
“All right.” She cast a wistful look at the pretty trees, but nodded. “We’ll wait here.”
“Good. And since I think the odds of a bleeding male collapsing next to the ship are quite slim, I expect you to be here when I return.”
She rolled her eyes at him, and he laughed and headed for the door. That was when Nina realized he was leaving.
“Dada!” she wailed, stopping him in his tracks.
Tears pooled in her big, dark eyes and he immediately returned, lifting her into his arms as he gave her a stunned look.
“Did she say…”
“She most certainly did.”
He gave the little girl a fierce hug. Her tears forgotten, she bounced happily in his arms.
“Dada, dada, dada!”
She went to join them, and his tail wrapped tightly around her body. He still looked stunned and she smiled up at him.
“Do you still want to go on your own?”
“No. But it is for the best.”
“All right. Come here, sweetheart.” She tucked Nina against her shoulder. “Dada is going out but he’ll be back soon.”
A small lip started to poke out and he hesitated, but she shooed him away.
“Children need boundaries as well as love. We’ll be fine.”
He somewhat reluctantly obeyed. Nina pouted for a few minutes, but she distracted her with a story and the little girl was soon happily playing with her doll. Carla and Bobby came to join them in the comfortable lounge area.
“Is this what you want?” the girl asked softly when she told her what had happened.
Her eyes threatened to fill with tears.
“A family with Nina and Luxor? Oh, yes.”
“So I guess you’re not going back to Earth either?”
“No. Can you imagine Luxor walking down the street on Earth?”
They both laughed, and then she sighed.
“But I still want to find Lauren. And I hope she wants to stay as well.”
Carla grinned at her.
“Maybe she’s found a big, handsome alien of her own.”
“Considering she’s almost nine months pregnant, it doesn’t seem likely.” Her eyes widened as she started trying to count days in her head. “I’m not sure how long it’s been, but she may even have had the baby by now. I just hope she’s not alone.”
“I hope so too.” Carla shivered. “I was so scared before you came along.”
She lowered her voice and leaned closer. “I know you told me about Nina’s mother, but were there any other women with you?”
“I’m not sure. I didn’t see anyone else, but I thought I heard voices a couple of times. And one of the Vedeckians had scratches on his face—the kind you make when you scratch someone.”
“Hmm. Luxor doesn’t want anything to do with the Patrol, but I wonder if there’s a way to get a message to them. To get them to look. I’ll ask him when he gets back.”
If he ever gets back. The morning seemed to drag out interminably and she couldn’t help worrying, even though the area surrounding the landing field was as pretty and peaceful as ever. She’d even caught several glimpses of the native Trevelorans—bird-like aliens with small, plump bodies and long thin legs. A variety of brightly colored plumage topped their heads and they didn’t look remotely threatening.
Nina enjoyed looking at them as well and they were sitting in the cockpit watching the activity on the field when a light on the console started blinking. She stared at it anxiously, trying to decide what to do, and finally pushed it hesitantly.
“Luxor?”
The harsh male voice made her hesitate, wishing she hadn’t responded. When the male demanded Luxor again, she finally sighed and answered him.
“He’s… he’s not here. This is his ship but he’s out right now.”
“Fuck. Where is he?”
The peremptory demand made her bristle, but she thought she detected an anxious note behind the question.
“He’s on Trevelor,” she said cautiously.
“What the hell is he doing there? Tell him Zythrak called. I need him.”
The channel went dead. She was still staring at it a minute later when the door opened and Luxor came in.
“Dada, dada, dada!”
Nina scrambled down and ran to him. and he swung her up in his arms.
“Hello, sweetheart. And how are you, t’davi?”
His tail wrapped around her as she joined them, and she smiled up at him.
“I’m fine, but it was a long morning. I was starting to get worried about you.”
“I was not aware it was so late,” he said ruefully.
“Did something happen?”
“Not exactly, but it has been a very confusing morning. I did not discover any information about Lauren,” he added quickly. “However, there is a large message center here. I think you should leave a message for her.”
“And stop looking?”
“Not at all. I am just suggesting we cover all the possibilities. I thought tomorrow we could visit the hospital, since you said she was about to give birth.”
“That makes sense, and I would like to see their facilities. Does that mean you’ve decided it’s safe here?”
An odd look crossed his face.
“I have been assured that it is. I met?—”
“Oh, I just remembered. Someone named Zythrak tried to contact you. He said he needs you.”
