Chapter XXXVI

Jaxon

W atching our combined release as it dripped from Emily’s holes and trickled down her thighs was one of the single most erotic things I’d ever witnessed. Second only to the tattoo that I’d marked on her skin of my claim on her.

As the Demon of Lust, I’d both seen and done a lot of fucked up things in the centuries that I’d been alive, but not a single one of them was with my Sweet Witch. Everything about her, about us together, was perfect. At this point, whether or not she realized what we were made no difference to me. I’d explain it all eventually once I had more answers, but for now all that mattered was that she was mine.

My perfect Maritus.

I dragged my fingers through the cum dripping from her holes and pushed my fingers up into her cunt, putting it all back where it belonged. I kissed the center of her back as her cunt quivered around my digits.

My greedy Little Witch had a sexual appetite that rivaled my own. Shivers wracked her body as I thrust in and out, enjoying the exhausted whimpers that purred from her chest as she squirmed.

As I pulled my fingers back out, I licked our combined release and quickly left the room to prepare a warm washcloth from the kitchen. I loved the thought of her womb filled with my seed, but the mess that it had made needed to be attended to and that fucker’s blood didn’t deserve to be on her body a moment longer.

I returned to a brilliant, but dazed smile as Emily came down from the serotonin high she was riding and the magic I’d pushed into her. Running the cloth gently over her thighs, I cleaned her skin and inhaled our scents mixed together. Mine.

I dressed quickly and helped her step back into her thong and leggings. Pulling them up, I secured them at her waist before helping her stand from the bed and holding her against my chest from behind.

I didn’t want this moment to end, but we needed to talk. In the time that I’d been away she’d managed to dispose of one threat, but that was just one of many that hung over our heads.

“Tu luna in tenebris meis,” I muttered against the side of her head, gazing down fondly at my teeth marks forever imprinted on her beautiful skin. Her breathing stalled as her heart raced.

“Jax,” she whispered, turning in my arms to face me. “That’s beautiful. What does it mean?”

“It means, my Sweet Witch, you are the moon in my darkness, ” I told her before placing a kiss on her forehead and wiping a tear from the corner of her eye.

Wrapping her arms around my waist, she rested her head against my chest as I lazily ran my fingers up and down her bare spine between the wings inked on her back.

How ironic that she seemed to not know of her Angelic heritage, but had still chosen those wings to become a part of her forever.

“Jax, there’s no easy way to say this, but I -, I think I found Killian,” she whispered, craning her neck to look up at me.

“What? Where? Did you see him? Fuck, I should have been here,” I cursed before taking a step back.

She wrapped her arms across her chest and nervously bit at her bottom lip before bending down to grab her shirt.

This was fucking huge.

No coven had been able to locate him in their searches and yet, my Sweet Witch had done it all alone. I’d known if anyone was capable, it would be her, but still I was blown away by the sudden news.

“Jax, he’s hurt,” she started before taking a deep breath. “I think they’ve been torturing him. They had him restrained and he was injured. I can’t be certain if he saw me or not, but it looked bad.”

I ground my molars together and took calming breaths as she spoke. Whoever was holding my brother captive was fucking dead.

“Where?” I grit out.

“He’s in an abandoned warehouse in Asheville,” she whispered.

“A fucking warehouse. Fuck. Fuck! I’m gonna give Adrian a call and let him know. We need to meet up and come up with a plan,” I told her, pulling out my phone.

“I’m - sor-,” she started.

I shook my head and pulled her back to me. This wasn’t her fault. No matter what state he was in, she’d found him and he was alive.

“You found him, Sweet Witch. You fucking found him,” I told her before kissing her deeply.

Leaning back, I looked down at her, my heart racing in my chest at the thought of actually seeing my brother again after all this time. Wrapping an arm around her, I hit the call button on Adrian’s name and held Emily to me as the phone rang.

“Lux, what’s going on? Are you alright? Did you get to her?” He answered quickly.

“I’m fine. Emily’s - well - she’s more than fine. Kill is in a warehouse in Asheville. Gather all the supplies, I’ll meet you at the house,” I told him before hanging up.

We had no idea what we’d be walking into or the state Kill would be in once we got to him, but hopefully we’d have the element of surprise on our side.

“Are you ready to meet one of my brothers?” I asked Emily after pocketing my phone.

“Another Prince?” She asked, looking down at the state of her bloodied clothes before looking back up at me. “I’m ready, I guess,” she chuckled before resting her head against my chest.

“Don't worry, Little Witch. You’ll fit right in,” I chuckled. I pulled her tighter against me and blinked us both to the house.

“Gula,” I shouted from the kitchen.

This place was so large, I had no idea which of the many rooms he could possibly be in.

“Ugh. Fuck off, Lux,” he growled as his footsteps approached. “You know I hate that-, well, hello there,” he said, his scowl turning into a full dimpled smile as he turned the corner and spotted Emily in my arms.

He dropped the duffel bag full of supplies on the ground beside him as he looked her up and down, his eyes lingering a little too long on her full chest for my liking before focusing on the parts of her body in which she’d been injured.

She seemed to be almost entirely healed. I wasn’t sure if it was her magic or her Angelic blood to thank for that but we’d both read the hospital reports detailing her injuries.

Adrian and I knew the placement and extent to each and every one. His hands tightened into fists at his sides as he focused on her ribs.

“Calm, brother. It’s no longer a problem.”

“Good. You took care of it then?” He growled.

He’d sent me a text, letting me know that Erik had returned to her studio.

“No. Actually, it seems that my little Maritus can be quite deadly. Already had the matter in hand before I returned,” I beamed proudly. He grinned at her confused expression and extended his hand.

“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Emily. You’re the only thing my brother has talked about for the last year, so I feel like I already know you,” he told her, tugging her in for a great bear hug.

I glared at him over her shoulder. She didn’t fucking know about me following her and I’d planned to keep it that way. She pulled back, looking from him to me with a questioning look.

“I’m sorry, but what? He told you about me?” she said, placing her hands on her hips and narrowing her eyes at me.

“Oh, shit,” Adrian whispered, backing away from us with his hands raised and heading for the kitchen.

Fucking asshole.
