Chapter twenty-three

Watching her creamy tits bounce in the moonlight as she ran through the orchard was written in every fucking fantasy I’d ever had since I met her. Shit, I’d probably imagined this a thousand times over when I wondered what my life would look like when I grew up—chasing after the most beautiful woman I’d ever laid eyes on as she ran away from me like I was some big, scary monster.

Ever since I was a horny teenager, I had this fascination with the thrill and chase of catching a woman. The harder the challenge, the more turned on it made me. It’s probably why I was so sickly attracted to Ember because she made me work for it.

When I was in high school and Ash pulled girls constantly, I hated how easy they became. Then after puberty, the girls started to fawn over me, and it was so . . . boring and vanilla for me. There was something to be said about the fact that I loved the chase.

Because I knew what Ember loved, and if this was what she’d wanted, then I’d happily oblige. I gave her a head start while I jumped from the back porch and walked through the orchard slowly, as to not rustle the leaves on the ground below me.

“Mmm, mi pareja. Sal, sal de dónde quiera que estés.”

The only things around me were the moonlight overhead and the sound of crunching as I stepped on a fallen apple. Yet, I could sense her presence, feel her moving among the rows of trees, as if there were an instinctual connection between us.

As I ventured deeper into the enveloping darkness, my senses became finely attuned to the nocturnal world around me. The rustling of leaves, akin to a whispered secret, reached my ears, serving as a breadcrumb to her presence. Ember was somewhere ahead, dashing down the aisle of the orchard, and I pursued, my heart galloping with anticipation.

In the velvety night air, a faint and intoxicating trace of her perfume lingered, a sultry blend of floral and musky notes. It hung like an invisible ribbon, drawing me further into the labyrinth of trees. My pursuit intensified, spurred by the bewitching allure of the chase—merely a seductive dance between us.

The moonlight filtered through the apple branches, casting intricate, shifting patterns of light and shadow. It conjured mirages of her, a phantom gracefully navigating the orchard’s hidden pathways. The thrill of the hunt saturated the air with a palpable charge, each moment heavy with a magnetic pull that surged between us.

Her laughter, soft and teasing, tickled my ears. The tension between us thickened, a web of desire spun in the obsidian embrace of the orchard. Every rustle of leaves and crunch of the apples beneath me, heightened the burning need I had to find her.

As I exited the orchard, she ran through the break of grass that separated the apples from the pine trees behind us.

I quickened my pace, my cock throbbing inside my pants.

“There is no more running, princesa. I see you,”

I stretched, cracking my knuckles, knowing what I wanted to do with her would not be delicate or gentle. No. I would make her mine.

“I am not going easy on you.” I ran, trying to avoid as many leaves on the ground, then her black hair glinting in the moonlight glow gave her away. She was crouched behind a tree.

I turned the other way so I was approaching her from behind and, almost at a crawl, I made my way toward her.

She was peeking out over the trunk of the tree when I threw my hands over her mouth.

“There you are,” I whispered into the shell of her ear. “I found you.”
