Meghan
"You two are disgusting, you know that?"
Emmett's grin widened. "Well, at least you only have to listen to me talk dirty to one person."
"What'd I miss?" Wick sidled up to me, sliding a hand around my hip and stealing my glass of champagne.
"Hey!" I scolded, swatting at his chest.
"I got you, gattina." Marco handed me a fresh glass.
"Thanks, babe. You're my favorite today." Marco gave me a megawatt smile while Wick withered me with a glower that would put the Grinch to shame.
The flight attendant took that moment to announce that we should all get seated for takeoff.
I settled into my seat, Marco on my left, Wick on my right, and all five kids buckled in behind us, arguing over whether Elsa's flurry could keep Olaf intact in the Caribbean.
As the plane taxied, a familiar thrill of anticipation coursed through my veins. I'd done plenty of traveling in my time, but I still got giddy at the start of a vacation. When the plane left the ground, it felt like I was leaving my worries behind.
Wick's hand found mine, his thumb tracing lazy circles on my skin. "Excited, baby?"
"You have no idea."
Marco's breath was warm against my ear. "Oh, I think we have some idea."
An electric tingle ran down my spine, and I bit my lip to stifle a giggle. These two are going to be the death of me.
By now, the plane had leveled off, and I gazed out the window, watching the clouds drift by. My mind wandered to thoughts of the upcoming vacation. Two weeks with no work, no schedules, just us.
I glanced back at the kids. Lucas and Mia were growing up so fast. At three years old, they were little balls of energy, always demanding attention. Don't get me wrong, I loved being a mom. But sometimes...
Fuck, I miss getting railed against the wall.
Life with twins meant stolen moments and quickies in the shower. Gone were the days of marathon sex sessions that left us all boneless and satisfied. I wouldn't trade my babies for anything, but damn if I didn't crave that intensity again.
Marco's hand rested on my thigh and Wick's arm draped across the back of my seat, his thumb brushing my shoulder. Even these innocent touches sent sparks of desire coursing through me.
I need to get laid. Badly.
Images flashed through my mind—Wick's mouth on my breasts, Marco's cock stretching me open, both of them taking me at once. Heat pooled between my legs, and I shifted in my seat, trying to relieve the growing ache.
Down, girl. There are children present.
But my traitorous libido had other ideas. I imagined shipping the kids off to the pool with their grandparents, then locking ourselves in the suite and fucking on every surface. The thought of my guys' hands on me, their lips marking every inch of my skin...
"You okay there, gattina? You look a little flushed."
I looked around, meeting Marco's knowing gaze. "Just thinking about all the fun we're going to have on this trip."
Wick's stroking thumb brushed dangerously close to my breast. "Oh yeah? Care to share with the class?"
Before I could respond, Emmett's voice floated across the aisle. "So, what's the plan once we land? Straight to the beach?"
I rolled my eyes. "As if. You know Callie's going to want to unpack and organize everything before we even think about putting our toes in the sand."
Callie's indignant "Hey!" was drowned out by laughter.
As the chuckles died down, a wave of contentment washed over me. Here we were, thousands of feet in the air, surrounded by the people we loved most in the world. It was moments like these that made all the challenges worth it.
The flight attendant came around with more champagne. As I sipped the bubbly liquid, I caught Wick's eye. He was watching me with that intense gaze that always made my stomach flutter.
"What?" I asked, suddenly self-conscious.
He shook his head, smiling faintly. "Nothing. Just... happy."
Marco gave my knee a gentle squeeze. "Me too."
I leaned back in my seat, closing my eyes. The drone of the engines and the quiet hum of conversation around me created a soothing backdrop. I felt myself starting to drift off when a sudden burst of laughter jolted me awake. The kids had returned to the media room as soon as humanly possible. By this point, they had probably moved on to Frozen 2.
"I should probably go check on them," Callie said, rising from her seat.
"I got it," I said, unbuckling my seatbelt. "You relax."
Approaching the media room, I could hear the animated voices of the children, punctuated by the occasional sound effect from the movie. I paused in the doorway, taking in the scene.
Lilah was curled up in one of the plush chairs, eyes glued to the screen. Lucas and Mia were sprawled on the floor, a tangle of limbs and giggles. Case and Cara were huddled together, whispering and pointing at something on the screen.
God, when did they all get so big? It seemed like just yesterday we were changing diapers and dealing with midnight feedings. Now here they were, growing up right before our eyes.
"Aunt Meggy!" Lilah spotted me first, her face lighting up. "Come watch with us!"
I couldn't resist that smile. "Alright, scoot over, munchkin."
I squeezed into the chair next to Lilah, and she immediately snuggled up against me.
As I sat there, surrounded by the warmth and joy of our little ones, a lump rose in my throat. This was what it was all about. This was why we'd fought so hard for our unconventional family.
A soft knock on the hard surface of the entryway drew my attention. Marco stood there, smiling tenderly as he took in the scene.
"Room for one more?" he asked.
The kids cheered, making space for him on the floor. As he settled in, his eyes met mine over Mia's head. The love I saw there made my breath catch.
I really did have it all. Two amazing partners, two beautiful kids, and our chosen family, who surrounded us with more love than I ever thought possible.
