Angel
T his having a family and spending Christmas with them thing was so bizarre. Until Damon had come into my life, Christmas had been just another day. My dad didn’t pretend to be Santa, put up a tree, or give me presents. I’d had a vague understanding of what Christmas was supposed to be but had never experienced it. At least not to this scale.
We’d gotten up way too early for my tastes and driven straight over to Lolly’s. The place was a total madhouse. People were everywhere, the house smelled delicious, and there was Christmas cheer as far as the eye could see. Jack and Holli had arrived earlier than us. They were staying for a bit to enjoy the holiday and drop off Flora before heading off on their honeymoon cruise.
That meant there were now three little girls running through the house, filling the entire place with squeals of delight. I’d met Rolly’s nieces, Polly and Molly, along with their husbands. It blew my mind that their family had stuck with that Olly theme. Everything about the Jolly’s was so alien to me.
Keeping up with all these new people was taxing, but I was proud of myself for keeping my snark to myself. As my polar opposite, Damon was loving every second of this. While he’d been a foster kid, he’d at least been in some homes that treated him well for his birthday and the holidays. He was also just made of pure sunshine.
I was bearing all of it, but I was totally out of my element. This was just too much peopling for me. I’d found some respite by hiding out in the laundry room. The relative quiet of the small space was nice, and I felt I could breathe.
Phone in hand, I took a moment to review the documents Jack’s project manager had sent me. After I’d shown my ass that night, I discovered Rolly had put a deposit on my shop, and we’d had a long talk. There’d been apologies, explanations, and maybe some tears. In the end, we’d worked things out, and I’d been brought in the loop. These new documents were a requisition form of flower coolers and other furniture.
I couldn’t believe my dream was taking shape without the insurance payout. That had a recent development, too, since Jack had sicked his lawyers on the other ones. The call I’d gotten that the situation would be rectified by New Year’s had been a welcome surprise.
As I was signing off on the order, the door opened, and I bit back a sigh. Looked like I’d been found. Rolly appeared in the doorway, looking concerned. “There you are.” He closed the door behind him before walking over to where I sat on the washer and stood between my legs. “You okay, Kitten?”
His hands rested on my knees and gave them a gentle squeeze. I loved these little moments of care he showed me. The love we shared. Just a short while ago, I didn’t believe in his affection or trust him completely. Now, though, I couldn’t imagine my life without him.
I leaned in and stole a kiss. “Just feeling overwhelmed.” I made a vague gesture at the door. “This is nothing like what I’m used to the holidays being. There are so many people and good cheer. It’s just…a lot.” I didn’t want him thinking I hated it here. It wasn’t the worst thing ever, and Aunt Dolly cracked me up. I just needed to take short breaks from it all.
He stared at me for several moments, looking for what I didn’t know. I tried to give off a calm aura. I refused to be the reason our first holiday together was cut short or something else that brought the mood down.
Another minute ticked past, and his hands slid up my legs to my hips. “If it gets to be too much, you let me know and we’re out of here.”
Fuck, I loved this man. The way he cared by giving me room to be me. How my feelings mattered and got considered. I stole another kiss and pulled him into a hug. “Thank you, Master.”
“You’re welcome, Pineapple.” He returned my embrace and kissed my temple. “Now come on. It’s time for presents and to have some of the amazing food Lolly made.”
He pulled away and helped me down. Hand in hand, we left the laundry room to rejoin everyone in the living room. As soon as we walked in, Damon rose from his seat and came up to me. “You okay, Grumpy Cat?”
After that night I lost it, I’d realized how much I take Damon’s love and loyalty for granted. He stuck beside me even at my worst, and I’d been so close to losing that. I’d sworn to myself to treat him better and show just how much I appreciated him. I let go of Rolly’s hand and hugged my puppy. “Yeah, all good. Just needed a minute to myself.”
He returned my embrace and ran his hand along my spine. “Good to know. I’m always here for you.”
I didn’t deserve these men and their boundless love. I’d spend the next dozen lifetimes showing them how thankful I was for them.
Rolly’s hand slid back into mine and the three of us took a seat on the nearest sofa. Jack had placed himself by the tree, which now had a mountain of gifts surrounding it. When had all of that gotten here?
I leaned into Rolly so he was the only one who could hear me. “He realizes he doesn’t have to impress the family anymore, right? They’re already married.”
Rolly chuckled and mimicked my actions. “Get used to it, Kitten. This is just how Jack is. His love language is giving gifts.”
“Yeah, I heard that the enormous ring Aunt Dolly always wears was a gift from Jack last year.” I was startled by Damon’s voice in my ear. I gave him a half-hearted glare and received a smile in return.
“Well, in that case, there had best be a Tag Heuer watch in the pile with my name on it.” All three of us chuckled as Jack began handing out the gifts. As everyone opened their sparkly packages, I thought of the plain red paper on the gift I had at home for Rolly. What was inside might not be a fancy expensive watch, but I hoped it would mean the world to him.
Finally, after hours of spending time with family and stuffing ourselves like the turkey we’d eaten, we arrived home. It took three trips between Damon and me to get all the gifts inside. If people didn’t know any better, they would have thought we were the newlyweds. I wasn’t complaining since I got my new watch. I was also excited to use our new air fryer, but did we really need new dishware and towels, too? Whatever. We could sort that all out later.
I was so wrung out I wasn’t sure I’d be able to stay up to do our private gift exchange. I had to though because this was crazy important. I was going to show my guys I was one hundred percent committed to them.
Damon and I spent more time at Rolly’s than we did at our own house. Which meant my comfy loungewear was already here. After we all changed into something more relaxed, we gathered in the living room.
I’d moved two of the massive floor pillows upstairs from the playroom, so Damon and I had cozy places to sit on the floor. Rolly had taken his place on the couch. With his bad hip, he couldn’t be on the floor long, so we always did our best to accommodate him.
I gathered all the gifts from under the tree and placed them on the coffee table. Except for my special gift, which was hidden under the table that left a much more modest spread before us. No offense to Jack, but ten super posh gifts per family member was a bit much. Not that it hurt his wallet. I was just a more simplistic kind of guy.
Grabbing two of the mid-size boxes along with two smaller ones, Rolly handed us a set each. “Open the smaller ones second.”
I tore into the paw print paper and found a simple brown box. What was inside filled me with glee. It was filled to bursting with cat toys. Everything my little kitten heart could desire. Damon’s box was similarly filled, and I knew we were going to have an epic play session soon. Those catnip mice stood no chance of surviving my expert hunting skills. “Thank you, Master.”
He grinned and stroked my head. “You haven’t even opened the best gift yet.”
How could there be a better gift? Curiosity piqued, I ripped the paper off the other gift. It was some sort of jewelry box. At first I’d frozen, thinking it might be a ring, and I wasn’t quite ready for a commitment that big. I realized the box was too big. When I opened it, I forgot how to breathe.
I looked at Damon, and he also had a look of shock and awe on his face. In the boxes, we each had a key. It wasn’t rocket science to figure out these were keys to Rolly’s house. I picked up mine and held it reverently.
“I know what this looks like.” I snapped out of my trance to focus on Rolly. “I’m not asking you both to move in. I get that would be a bit fast.”
Ha! Like the rest of our relationship hasn’t been. We’d been caught up in hurricane Rolly from the moment we’d met.
His big, gentle hand closed around mine and filled me with warmth. “I just want you both to know I’m all in on this. You are welcome here whenever you want. Think of this as your forever home.”
I would not cry. Nope. Not me. My eyes gave several rapid blinks to hold the torrent of tears at bay. This was my opportunity to bring out my gift. Reaching under the table, I pulled out my gift and shoved it into Rolly’s empty hand. He gave me a curious look as he took his other hand back.
“I know this isn’t the same as giving a key, but this was the best I could come up with.” Ugh! No, that’s not what I’d rehearsed. I was supposed to say all this sappy sweet shit about love, commitment, blah, blah, blah.
The paper fell away to reveal the Amazon box I’d re-used. Sue me. It was the perfect size, and the gift had only gotten here two days ago. I was lucky enough to even get this custom order. The packaging didn’t matter.
My heart rate went into overdrive as he popped the tape and opened the box. Doubt filled my heart as I watched his hand disappear inside. This was going to be too much. He and Damon were going to hate it. Why had I done this?
Rolly pulled out the two collars, and I held my breath, waiting for his reaction. Box set aside, he turned over the sheep skin leather strips and turned wonder struck eyes on me. “Are these what I think they are?”
I couldn’t speak for fear of saying something stupid. Instead, I crawled to kneel in front of him and presented my neck. A soft gasp came from behind me, and I knew I’d blown Damon’s mind.
A hand cupped my chin and guided my head so my eyes met Rolly’s. His gaze was serious, but this light of hope danced in the depths. “Pineapple, are you asking me to collar you? Do you want me to be your official Master?”
Emotion choked my throat, but I swallowed it down. I had to speak. These could be some of the most important words I’d ever say in my life. “Yes. I love you, Master Rolly, and want to be your Kitten, now and forever.” Okay, not the big dramatic declaration of love I’d originally thought of, but that was the gist of it.
A sudden weight crashed into me, and I found myself flat on the floor. Disoriented, I looked up to find Damon on top of me with tears streaming down his eyes. “Do you mean it, Angel? Have we found our Master? Is this finally going to be our home?”
My sweet puppy. I knew he’d waited for this day a long time. Reaching up, I wiped the tears from his cheeks. “Yeah, Damon. If Master will have us, this is our forever.”
Damon’s lips crashed into mine. His kiss was brutal, but I returned it in kind. Teeth clacked and our tongues were everywhere. There was no finesse, just a primal need. Our hands clawed at each other’s clothes as they came off, flying in all directions.
At some point, another pair of hands joined the fray. They hitched under my arms and hauled me up into a sitting position. Damon’s lips were replaced with Rolly’s. His beard tickled my skin. His rough hands found their way to my chest and teased my naked nipples.
Damon had worked his way down my body, leaving a trail of fiery kisses. My belly clenched in anticipation as his warm breath teased over the tip of my dick. His tongue darted out and trailed over my aching flesh.
I was too impatient and consumed by my need to deal with his teasing. I tangled my fingers in his hair and pressed his face into my groin. He must have gotten the hint, as my cock was enveloped by the moist heat of his mouth. Rolly swallowed the groan I emitted as his tongue plundered my mouth.
Damon fondled my balls as he worked his mouth over my length. Rolly’s tongue traced along my neck before he sank his teeth into my shoulder. All these sensations had me losing my mind, but I still knew this was a tad unfair. I shouldn’t be the only one enjoying myself.
With my hand still in his hair, I pulled Damon off my dick. He looked at me in confusion, but I didn’t have time to explain. I moved out of Rolly’s grasp and maneuvered Damon onto his knees. Dropping to all fours, I took Damon’s length into my mouth.
He cried out as I worked over his length and traced my tongue along the vein running the underside of his cock. Rolly must have read my mind as he slotted himself behind me. “Press your thighs together for me, Kitten.”
I did as he asked and felt his slick dick press between my legs. That was my Master. Always prepared. He must have had some lube hidden in the coffee table. He leaned over me as his hips moved and wrapped his hand around my length.
Now it was a race to the finish. My nose was buried in Damon’s thatch of curls as I swallowed his cock. I moved my hips to meet Rolly’s thrusts and worked my dick in his hand. I could feel my release coiling to the point of breaking. It wouldn’t be much longer.
My hips moved faster, and I pulled out all the stops to make Damon come. His hands had worked their way into my hair and his hips thrust forward to fuck my throat. I hollowed out my cheeks and grazed my teeth over his length. That must have done it, as he buried himself in my mouth and flooded it with his cum.
Unable to swallow it all, some of it seeped from the corners of my mouth. I couldn’t be bothered to care as my climax hit me like a Mack truck. I came all over Rolly’s hand and the rug beneath us. We’d have to clean that, but that was a problem for future Angel. Right now, I was riding the high of my afterglow as I slumped to the floor.
A sharp smack to my hip made me jump, and I glanced back at Rolly. “Keep those legs up and tight, boy.”
I groaned in protest but did as I was told. After a handful more thrusts, Rolly came with a grunt and my thighs were covered in sticky fluid. I dropped to the floor, feeling sated, and was barely holding onto consciousness. As I drifted off, I felt myself being surrounded on both sides by the men I loved, and my heart settled. At last, I was home.
