Chapter 16

Chapter

Sixteen

SIMONE

“ S ex really does sell,” I muse as I try to get back in the limo after our impromptu shopping spree.

Maddox insisted that I need a new wardrobe since the weather in New Orleans is much warmer this time of year compared to Toronto.

“Dove, I know you don’t mean to be condescending with those comments, but I’m still going to spank you for it.” I roll my eyes to which he grins.

“The tally is going up.” Uh fuck.

“Here’s how we’re going to do this. All the bags go in, and then you and I follow with you on my lap.” The driver stuffs the bags and new luggage inside, and true to his word, Maddox sits and pats his lap for me to take a seat on.

“This must be against some traffic law,” I’m grumbling at the position I’m in, but really, it’s just to hide my arousal at the thought.

“Now you worry about breaking laws when I’ve been riding in limos on my knees with my tongue buried in your cunt?” I glance around and hiss at him.

“Lower your voice!” I struggle to get on his lap without flashing the entire strip.

“Dove, it’s the City of Sin. Trust me, no one cares.” His chuckle is drowned out by the sound of his cell phone ringing while our driver closes the door.

“Shit, this can’t be good,” Maddox answers the phone after a moment of hesitation.

“Hey Abel,” the limo hits a bump and jostles me to yelp.

“No, of course, I’m not lost.” Maddox pulls me up on his lap and spreads his hand on my lower belly to hold me in place.

“Absolutely not,” I glance over my shoulder at his tone.

“You really are an intrusive bastard!” He hangs up and curses a few times before giving the driver a new address.

“We need to make a stop before the honeymoon can start.” He pinches the bridge of his nose.

“To see Abel? The guy you told me to call when you saw the cops?” He looks up and nods.

“He’s my uncle and the Vice President of our Mother Chapter.” I frown at the whole phone call now.

Why wouldn’t he want to see family? Then I remember how mine are and understand entirely.

“Say the word, and I’ll get sick so we can leave.” Maddox cups my face and kisses me softly.

“It’ll be fine. Just a quick hello out of respect, and then we’re gone.” I nod and lean into his chest.

“Can you wait that long, or do you need me to take the edge off?” His hand creeps to the apex of my thighs, where he slowly uses his fingers to drag my dress up my thighs.

The privacy screen goes up as he spreads my thighs wide, and my head rocks back and forth on his shoulder. My body is telling him exactly how needy I feel.

“We only have five minutes. It’s a short ride.” He lifts my right hand and sucks two fingers into his mouth.

“We’re going to work together,” his voice in my ear is husky and low, sending shivers down my spine.

My back arches as my now wet digits pop out of his mouth, and he moves them down to my clit.

“You rub, I pump.” He pushes my fingers in a small, tight circle until he’s certain I won’t stop and then moves his own to my slick entrance.

“Ninety seconds,” he says before biting my neck and plunging two fingers into me.

He pumps and circles them, hitting my G-spot with scary accuracy. My legs start to tremble and, on instinct, begin to close.

“NO,” he growls, shoving them farther open.

“Maddox, please!” I beg him, but for what, I have no idea.

“You’re going to make a mess, Dove.” The amusement in his voice is so at odds with the feeling building inside of me.

“Pull your dress up now,” the command is harsh, leaving no room to argue.

I curl in on myself, lifting the dress while keeping my rhythm on my clit to match the one he set at the beginning. As soon as it clears my ass, he grabs the closest bag to us and pulls out the shirt he’d picked out for himself.

“The things I sacrifice to make my wife squirt.” As soon as the words are out of his mouth, my build-up snaps, turning my world upside down.

I scream out in both pleasure and confusion.

“What,” I try to ask, but he keeps pumping his fingers, prolonging the sensations and turning my brain to mush.

“Good fucking girl.” He withdraws his fingers and sucks them clean with a little moan.

Once I’ve regained a little sense, I shift and feel the shirt between my legs.

“What the fuck was that?” I clear my throat, feeling hoarse.

“That Dove, was the reason I told you I was in wet work when we first met.” I think back to the memory and chuckle.

“It makes so much more sense now.” He winks at me as he dries my thighs.

“We’re pulling up. Take a moment to fix your dress and catch your breath.” He kisses my cheek as I watch the limo approach a large brick building.

The sign above the door has a Grim Reaper holding two maces like crossbones.

“MorningStar, as in Lucifer?” I turn to Maddox in question.

“No, it’s for the maces. They also carry the man. Although when the founder of the club was nicknamed Satan, I guess it could have gone both ways.” He sounds so sad and nostalgic that I take his hand in mine.

“Are you all right? Does this place hold bad memories?” He shakes his head with a smile.

“Total opposite. There are so many happy ones that I miss when I have to leave. Come on, let’s get this over with.” He opens the door and helps me out slowly.

The front door bangs open before we can take a step towards the building. A little boy in glasses with curly brown hair stands with his hands on his hips, glaring at us. Directly behind him is a large man who could be his relative since they look so similar.

“You come into my city and think you can get married without me finding out?” The little boy screams out at us.

“Um, Maddox?” What are we walking into?

“Hello, Deacon, mind your manners and remember I changed your diapers. Stop listening to your grandfather, or your mother is going to beat your ass.” He goes around me, rushing the child, and flips him upside down.

This must be a little cousin since my new surname matches his first.

“Maddy, stop!” Deacon giggles when Maddox blows raspberries on his exposed belly.

“Kid asked you a question, boy. Do I need to call your parents?” My eyes fly back to the doorway where the child’s grandfather is watching with his arms crossed on his chest.

“Abel, may I introduce you to Simone Deacon, my wife.” Abel steps into the evening light and smiles.

Wow, this family is entirely way too good looking.

“I know, I’m a Zaddy, but I’m married,” Maddox growls at Abel.

“Get away from my woman, you old perv!” I giggle at the interaction, which is loving instead of the hostile environment I grew up in.

“I see what you mean now,” I smile at my husband, who has rejoined me with his little cousin on his hip.

“Well, you gonna let us in, or should we go? We have a honeymoon to start.” Maddox’s words make my cheeks flush.

“Well, now that we have a blushing bride, come on in and meet the rest of the family. You a size small? I’ll have her cut delivered to your house. Any special requests?” Abel sizes me up, and I cringe.

“Cut?” I ask, but Maddox just smiles down at me.

“Yeah, Dove for her road name, property of Nova.” What in the hell?

“Are you going to translate that into English? I don’t speak biker,” I hiss at him.

“I have a handbook. Come on in.” Abel holds the door open for us as we enter the building.

“The worst is over now, Dove. You can relax,” he whispers in my ear before he really looks around the room.

“If you say so.”
