Chapter 10 - Mila

Breakfast was spent as usual in silence. Aleksandr had his nose in the paper most of the time, and I sat staring at the garden. Lowering his paper, he looked at me over the top. “Would you like to have a stroll later?” he inquired softly.

I smiled and nodded as I replied. “That would be nice.”

“Then it’s settled,” he said, rising. “I just have a couple of calls, and then we’ll take a stroll. How does that sound?”

Taking the last bite of my breakfast, I replied without looking up. “Great.”

Aleksandr placed his hand on my shoulder, leaned over, and kissed my head. “See you in a bit,” he added before leaving. Stopping at the door, he turned back. “Mila?”

Glancing at him, I noticed the smile forming on his lips. “How about we go out for dinner tonight? Would you like that?”

Giving him half a smile, I nodded and then focused on the empty plate before me. I waited until I couldn’t hear his footsteps anymore before rising from the table. Even though I was sure we were going to one of their fancy gambling dens, it was still time outside the confines of the mansion.

I would be able to learn more about him and maybe even his business. With everything I had seen already, deep down, I knew he wasn’t a complete monster. But I felt sure there was more.

I had to find a way to make contact with my family. It’s been a week since the last time we saw each other or spoke. A week since my forced marriage to Aleksandr. He had no right to keep me away from everyone for so long.

He still had my phone, and I had no access to his computer. The landline had a code on it that I haven’t been able to break either. I was getting frustrated but knew an opening would come soon. I had considered asking the staff, but I wasn’t sure how dedicated they were.

I headed to the home gym. I had to get rid of the rage I felt building inside. I had stumbled across it on day five while looking for his office. Every day when I knew he was out, I explored some more. There were so many rooms, and I found a couple of locked ones.

Some I could get into as they had normal door locks. But there were three that had thumbprint keypads. I was sure one of them had to be his office. The other two, well, who knows what secrets they may hold.

In time, I will get in everywhere. For now, I focused on what I could get done. After a powerful workout, I took a dip in the pool. Feeling refreshed, I went upstairs and put on one of my sundresses. Ready for our stroll in the garden, I headed out to the Maze of Roses.

I had just stepped through the door when I heard Aleksandr speaking behind me. “You look lovely.”

Turning, I saw him standing in the doorway. “Ready for our walk?” he asked.

I smiled shyly as I swayed from side to side. I had to make him believe I was a good wife. Aleksandr looked pleased as he came closer, holding out his hand. I took his hand as he joined me, and we walked into the Maze of Roses.

We exited on the other side and headed to an open field. “This is where the horses roam during the day,” he said as we got to the fence.

The field stretched all the way to the back of the barn to our left. To the right, it seemed to pass the guard's housing. Ahead, I couldn’t even see another fence. There were only a couple of them in sight. “How do you get them back inside if they are spread out like this?” I inquired.

Aleksandr grinned as he responded. “Horses are a lot like people. They tend to follow one, the leader of sorts. We find him, lead him back, and the rest follows.”

I found this comparison a tad odd. Did he think of himself as a leader? Did his people follow him blindly?

“I would like to take you out riding sometime,” Aleksandr added.

Looking at him, I noticed he was being sincere. His eyes were soft as was his smile. “Maybe,” I replied, not sure if I wanted to. “What time would you like to leave for dinner?”

Aleksandr turned and looked back at the mansion, leaning against the fence. “I thought we might leave at around five. If that is fine by you?”

Staring at the horses in the field, I thought it sounded good but didn’t respond. “If you want to leave earlier or later…” Aleksandr started saying.

Turning to him, I smiled. “No, five is fine. I was just considering when I should start getting ready. Are we going to the same casino as last night?” If we did, I was sure I would find a phone that I could use to call home.

“No, I’m taking you to one of our restaurants,” Aleksandr replied. “You’ve been there, seen it. So, we’ll go to another one of our places.”

Nodding, I started walking back to the mansion slowly. I felt Aleksandr taking my hand and pulling me to a stop, twisting me around as he did so. “Is everything okay? You don’t seem pleased.” He asked.

Pulling my hand free, I lightly tapped him on the chest as I spoke. “All is fine. I just think we should head back.”

He nodded, and we strolled back to the house in silence. I could feel his eyes on me. He was watching me, but I didn’t care. Once we got to the mansion, I headed to the room we shared.

After a long soaking bath, I got ready. Seeing his reaction to the red dress, I decided to wear my black evening gown. The body of the dress hugged me like a glove, pushing my breasts up and exposing quite a bit of cleavage. From my hips down, it hung loose. On both sides, the dress had slits running up from my feet to my hips.

Pinning my hair up loosely, I grinned at my reflection. “You have a mean streak,” I said to the woman staring back at me.

Looking at my watch, I noticed it was almost time. I considered waiting a while. I wasn’t sure how Aleksandr would react if I was late. Although he didn’t seem to mind yesterday. I couldn’t yet pin his mood points. But I was sure I would get to know them.

I decided not to wait. Getting up, I headed downstairs. Aleksandr was already waiting at the door as I descended the stairs. He was wearing a black suit that framed his muscular body perfectly. His black hair was smoothed back, and his face clean. For a moment he looked like he had climbed out of an advertisement with his clean-cut look.

His face brightened as he watched me. I felt a tiny fluttering in my stomach. Tapping my stomach lightly, I decided it was from hunger and nothing else. Aleksandr held up his arm as I approached. I placed my hand on his forearm and allowed him to walk me out.

The dress surely had the impact I had hoped for. He appeared to be stumbling as he moved around and got in on his side. “Are you comfortable?” he asked, taking a deep breath. Even his golden eyes appeared to be sparkling.

As we drove, I couldn’t help but notice the smile on his lips. He kept glancing at me and smiling. It was almost as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Yet, I was sure he had been with many beautiful women before. I just couldn’t figure out why he kept staring, as if I was made of gold or something.

The drive was longer than I expected. The place was almost outside of the city. We pulled into a big parking area and drove to the side of the building. “This is one of three restaurants we own,” he said as he got out.

Aleksandr held his hand for me as he opened my door. Taking it, I exited the car. “We’re not using the front?” I asked, looking around. We were parked on the side of the building. At the back were some garbage cans and what looked like a couple of tables and chairs. There was more light on the other side. I also noticed we passed some fountains which were surely the front.

“No,” Aleksandr replied. “We’re entering through the kitchen. I want you to meet the staff.”

This was slightly odd, but I enjoyed meeting his workers and could learn more about him this way. Nodding, I walked with him to the door. The kitchen was a hive of activities, with people moving left and right. The mixture of smells filled the air around us.

Even though the people were scurrying around, they stopped and greeted us. Each took time to introduce themselves and tell me about what they do. They appeared very excited to see Aleksandr. We moved through the kitchen slowly as everyone had something to add.

Once we entered the dining area, we were flooded by more staff. The place was bigger than I had imagined. Walking from the kitchen towards the front, we moved through some private booths. About halfway across the floor was a long counter. “This is the salad bar,” Aleksandr said, waving his hand toward it.

It was stunning, and I was sure it held every kind of salad known to man. We entered an area with round and oval tables. To the other side of them was another long counter. Actually, it looked like two as the counter ran in a horseshoe shape. “This is the bar,” he added, grinning.

Before this, towards the front door were smaller booths and square tables. “The place is massive,” I breathed out turning in a slow circle. We greeted the bar staff as we moved around and headed toward the back again.

I was surprised at how friendly the staff were. They all greeted Aleksandr with openness and warm handshakes. He spoke longer to some listening as they informed him about their home situations. I was amazed at his spontaneousness and empathy.

The waiter led us to one of the larger booths at the back. There were two glasses and an ice bucket with champagne waiting. Aleksandr poured us each a glass. “To love and friendship,” he said, holding up his glass. I found this statement a bit odd but toasted with him.

We had appetizers, a main meal, and dessert. During our meal, we were interrupted three times by some of the staff. Aleksandr rose and took their conversation to the booth next to ours every time. Not once did he get upset or send them away. I could see he cared for his workers and their well-being.

Seeing him this way made it hard to keep my wall up. As the evening progressed, I felt my defenses slowly cracking. Once the table was cleared after dessert, Aleksandr got up. I watched as he pulled a curtain hanging on one side around, closing the opening. I had not noticed it before, but it gave us total privacy.

Sitting back down, he poured another glass. Aleksandr slid closer. Turning to face him, our knees touched. “Did you enjoy your meal?” he asked softly, moving his fingers lightly up and down my thigh.

My stomach turned and twisted. Shifting back, I nodded as I replied. “Yes, it was very nice, thank you.” Trying to shift the focus, I shot a strange question his way. I didn’t know where it came from, but as I asked it, I could hear how ridiculous it was. “Tell me, if there were no limitations on pets, what animal would you have as one?

I could see I had caught him off guard as he burst out laughing. Rubbing his chin, he smiled as he spoke. “Now, where did that come from?”

Glancing down for a second, I shook my head. “I don’t know,” I responded, feeling slightly embarrassed for asking something so insane.

Aleksandr placed his glass down as he shifted forward. I felt his tender touch as he moved his hands up and down. “Mila,” he breathed out. “You are amazing, dear. I would most likely have a Siberian tiger as a pet.”

I felt my face heating as I blushed and was glad for the softer light. His choice of pet said a lot about the way he saw himself. I found it interesting. Taking hold of his hands, I felt a tingling move up my spine. “Aleksandr,” I said wanting to protest but stopped. His thumbs moved gently over my hands as he stared into my eyes.

Feeling my resistance crumbling, I assured myself I would do this to lower his guard. If I wanted to get inside his head, I would have to give him something in return. So, instead of fighting him, I smiled and took my hands away.

Aleksandr’s hands moved quickly to my hips. He grabbed me tightly and lifted me to the table. Moving slower, he came to sit between my legs, his hands on my hips. Staring into his golden eyes, I sensed a fluttering in my stomach. I assured myself that I was doing this to gain his trust as I placed my hands on the table behind me and laid my head back.

I felt him gently drawing a trail up my calves with his fingers. He kissed the inside of each knee. I held back the gasp. It’s been a long time since I’d been touched. My body wanted it, but I had to keep my emotions from taking control.

He sat back and slipped off my shoes. Picking up one leg, he started at my toes, Aleksandr covered my legs in tender kisses. Up the one to my knee and then the other. I breathed in and out softly and slowly, controlling my emotions.

His fingers slowly caressed my legs as he shifted forward. I felt them moving in under my dress. My senses lit up as a soft, tingling sensation vibrated through me. Reaching my hips, I felt his hands moving around to my ass. Taking a firm hold, he pulled me closer to the end of the table.

My arms were stretched out behind me, and soon, I would either have to adjust them or lie back. Glancing at him, I noticed a mischievous look on his face. “Don’t worry, dear, just enjoy,” he breathed out. He had a deep, penetrating stare as his hands moved over my panties.

I wanted to tell him to stop, but I was frozen. His fingers moved up and down the center of my panties. I had lost control of my body as my insides quivered. I couldn’t even open my mouth to speak.

His hands moved to my hips again, but this time, he took hold of my panties. Slowly, Aleksandr pulled them down to my knees. He leaned back and continued with them down my legs and off over my feet. He crumpled them up and put them in his jacket pocket.

Moving back between my legs, his hands glided over my thighs. I watched as he flipped the front of my dress to the side. For a moment, he just sat staring at my exposed pussy. He placed two fingers in his mouth, wetting them.

Staring at my face, he brought them forward and tenderly pushed them into my pussy. I let out a soft moan, lifting my face to the ceiling. Aleksandr stood up as his fingers moved in and out tenderly.

I felt my back arching as my senses lit up with pleasure. Aleksandr slipped his other arm around my middle. Pulling me up towards him as his fingers drove deeper into me. Another moan escaped my lips, but this time, it was louder. My body appeared to have a mind of its own as my arms went up. I grabbed hold of his muscular arms, leaning my head back.

“That’s it,” he whispered. “Relax, Mila,” Aleksandr added, lowering me to the table. He kissed my neck and moved down to my cleavage. My breathing was ragged as his warm lips kissed my stomach and moved back up to my breasts.

His fingers were still moving in and out slowly as I felt him gently tugging at the top of my dress. As the bodice slipped lower, exposing my breasts, I gasped, feeling the cool air pricking my nipples. Suddenly there was a moist heat over one as Aleksandr sucked my nipple into his mouth.

My body arched as all my senses came to life. My hands moved to his head as my fingers found their way into his hair. I couldn’t contain my own movements. My body wanted him. As he made his way across my chest to my other breast, my moans became louder.

I was shuddering under his touch. Aleksandr placed his hand tenderly over my mouth as his thumb found its way to my clitoris. He gave two quick strokes, then pulled his fingers out. Kissing my neck, he whispered to me. “Shh, dear, be quiet.”

Sitting back down, he lifted my legs to the table. I felt his head moving in between my legs, as he licked my pussy my body heated up with desire. I shook my head biting my lower lip. He re-inserted his fingers, moving them at a quicker pace.

His thumb found my clitoris again as he moved in and out. Lifting my ass from the table, I felt his tender kisses on the inside of my thighs. Shaking my head from side to side, I felt my body releasing, and I came over his hand.

Breathing out hard, I felt him get up. Opening my eyes, I saw him standing between my legs. He was smiling down at me. Aleksandr moved to the side and headed to the booth opening.

I watched him as he left the booth. Glancing at the curtain as it closed behind him, I felt frustrated. How dare he leave me like this. Getting off the table, I straightened my dress and sat down. I poured myself another glass and took a big gulp.

Why was my body betraying me? Why did I enjoy it so much? Anger rose in me as I muddled over what had just happened. I enjoyed it more than I expected and wanted more. My mind and body were fighting a raging war. I dared not give in to my emotions, I had to keep it logical.

After finishing my glass, I went to find him. I was ready to go home. Aleksandr was in the kitchen, complementing the workers as I entered. He glanced at me and nodded. “Ready to go?” he asked, pulling me into his arms and kissing my forehead.

I nodded but didn’t speak. We greeted the staff and left. The entire drive home, my mind was preoccupied. I felt confused and angry at myself. I had to get a grip on the wave of emotions and thoughts rolling through me.

At home, I went up to our room without a word. I hoped that a good night’s rest would resolve what was happening inside of me.
