Pry
Des was a delight. They could weave a story made for sin with no trouble. The whole lunch kept Alec in a constant state of arousal, which was wonderful and amusing. Des was also a creature of touch. I’d always supposed it went with the territory of being the demon of lust.
A few days ago, the way they were around Alec would have driven me crazy. I didn’t want to think about the fact I was probably jealous. Having Envy’s emotions was a frustrating way of being. It was like an itch running up my spine and I’d had to fight the urge any time Alec had spoken to any of my siblings. It was a feeling that I couldn’t break until we had spent the night together.
While I’d been a glutton on his need, the unknown feelings had eased away, and I was left only myself.
Perhaps with a little more want. Alec was an entertainment I would not give up soon.
Which was why it surprised me that I had such a swift turnaround from the cranky jealousy the day before. Des stroked Alec’s arm, practically batting their eyelashes up at the human. While Alec remained professional and charming, there was no stopping the blush that creeped into his cheeks. Nor the way his pupils blew out.
Even Alec, who had so far resisted every advance from any other sibling, could not resist Des when they put their all into seduction.
I didn’t think I’d ever seen Des work so hard for a mark before. It was hilarious. To watch them pull out all the stops for a young human was amusing. I was content to lean back and watch the fireworks. Alec was fantastic at dancing around the obvious attention whilst at the same time squirming and obviously turned on beyond belief.
I licked my lips when he jumped as Des’s feet glided up his leg. As much as I wanted to keep watching Alec squirm, I also wanted to make sure he wasn’t too uncomfortable.
“Des, I know you’re excited to be home, but you have to leave Alec alone. If he has an aneurism, I will make you clean up the mess. And there will be a big mess if Chef and Envy get involved.”
It wasn’t completely a joke. Chef and Envy hadn’t admitted it to me, but I could tell they had a special connection to Alec. Much like myself.
Alec was an annoying human who had crawled under all their skin.
Des sat back, a pout on their glittery lips. “You, my dear brother, are a spoilsport. Al wasn’t having any trouble manhandling me.”
I rolled my eyes so hard it probably should have hurt. “Enough innuendos from you, Des. If he explodes, I will be very put out.”
Their tongue snaked out, wetting the lips. From experience they’d taste like cherry. The desire in the room skyrocketed. It ran along my skin, prickling goosebumps along anything that was exposed. Alec moaned. He was human. It was understandable he wasn’t able to control himself around Des. Memories of the night before assaulted me. Alec would be hard, and he’d taste wonderful.
I couldn’t help but think about how Alec would taste after Des’s cherry lips had sucked his cock. Damn them.
“Enough, Desire.”
Raising my voice had the needed affect. Des flicked their curls, and the lust subsided. “Of course, big brother.”
It was a better response than I could have hoped for. Even though Des was put out, they weren’t throwing another tantrum. Alec blinked. I knew that look. Des left humans like that all the time. It made me smile and Des preened. It was an interesting reaction.
There was always a certain level of pride when it came to lust. But I hadn’t seen it like this before. Usually Des only showed confidence or enthusiasm for what was happening around them. For them to show any pride for a human’s reaction was new. Perhaps Alec’s influence again? The whole situation was intriguing.
“Al didn’t mind.” Des beamed at the man and he managed a smile back. A real one. It was Des’s turn to shiver, and for the first time during their interactions, they frowned. Alec was causing us to feel things we hadn’t before. It was interesting to watch my siblings’ reactions now that the edge had been taken off.
Des shook their head, trying to come back to themselves. Thankfully, there was enough leftover arousal in the air that it wasn’t that hard. “Perhaps he’d enjoy a playdate later?”
Alec squirmed, and Des was back in their element. I couldn’t help but laugh, the sound making the two of them shiver before me. It was a delightful reaction. One I wanted to explore, if Alec would be willing. Spending a night with Des was unforgettable. I got the feeling Des would not mind in the slightest.
“Maybe…?” Alec hedged, glancing between the two of us. His confusion was warring with his arousal and even though he was good at masking his emotions, today it was a little much. Des had that effect on humans. And most supernaturals really. Des was a force of their own. “I think I’m spending my weekend with Pry?”
He sounded so confused I had to help him out. “After lunch I will talk to you.”
“Ok…?” The confusion remained, but Alec seemed to relax a little.
It didn’t stop Des from sighing dramatically. “Perhaps tomorrow then.” When they stood, I was sure they caused tight pants to fall lower than should be possible. The flash of pink lingerie was titillating. Even Alec made a noise, unable to hide his reaction. It made Des grin smugly. More of a prideful reaction.
Everything about Alec was intriguing. Especially on us demons.
