Chapter 11

Eight Days Later

"We can't keep doing this." I slam my fist on the table in the private enclosed conference room to which only the three of us have a key. We only use it when we have something important to discuss, and that happens to be the little sub who has us all wrapped around her little finger.

"What exactly can't we keep doing?" Wilder crosses his arms over his chest in a silent challenge.

"Violet. We can't keep meeting her at Club Sin for sex. We've kept her blindfolded this whole time. She doesn't even know what we look like—that's not a healthy Dom/sub relationship or any kind of a relationship for that matter. She deserves better than the likes of the three of us. We are just her fantasy lovers. Do you really think she would choose a relationship with all three of us? Who does that anyway? Certainly not the sweet girl Violet really is."

"No, I'm not giving her up." Wilder uncrosses his arms and takes an angry step toward me.

Jamison steps between me and Wilder before we start throwing punches like we're both itching to do. "Stop it—Dexter's right. We aren't good enough for her. And even if she did decide she wanted one of us, I couldn't bear watching her with one of you, knowing she owns my heart."

"That's a little dramatic, don't you think?" I snort. There's no way Jamison loves her. We barely know her, and she doesn't even know what her mystery lovers look like. There's no way she loves us, right? I shake my head, clearing my dangerous thoughts. "Looks like majority rules, Wilder. We need to make a clean break from Violet—no more texts or nights at Club Sin. As of right now, it's over. We need to block her number so we're not tempted to contact her."

Yeah, like that will stop me from thinking about her every day for the rest of my life.

Wilder glares at me, and I can see the wheels turning in his head. "Fine," he finally says, but I'm not sold on the idea that he won't try to contact Violet somehow.

"Good. Now that's settled, we leave for London in three hours. I suggest you run home and pack. I'll meet you at the airport." I turn to leave, needing some time to process what we're about to do to Violet. I turn back around to pound the final stake through our cold-blooded hearts. "Make sure to block her number from your phones."

Before I can leave the conference room, our phones all vibrate, alerting us to an incoming message.

It can only be one person texting all three of us at the same time.

I pull my phone out of my pocket to find a video of Violet smiling back at me without that damn blindfold.

I shove my phone back in my pocket, not ready to watch the video and stomp out of the building, making sure to avoid Violet's area altogether because I know if I see her beautiful face in person, I'll cave and beg her to claim the three of us as her own.

So instead of tempting fate, I rush home and pack my suitcase, never to think about Violet again.

Yeah, right.
