Chapter 14

Three Months Later

"I can't do this any longer. I miss Violet." I throw myself into a chair in Dexter's office.

Leaving Violet was the worst decision we could have ever made. It's been a living hell since we agreed it was best to sever ties with her and let her move on with someone who could give her what she needed instead of holding her back with three nameless, faceless fantasy men who could never offer her more than that.

"Hold it together, Wilder. We've been out of the country and away from her for almost six months. She's probably already forgotten us and moved on." Dexter's bored attitude has me ready to punch him in the face.

Am I the only one affected by the loss?

How many times have I watched and rewatched the last video she sent us before we all blocked her number? A hundred? A thousand?

"Wilder's right, I can't go on like this much longer. Do you know how many dates I've gone on since we left her, trying to find someone to take my mind off her? I haven't even touched a single one. I can't even kiss them good night when I drop them off because all I can think about is saving my kisses for Violet—kisses she doesn't even want."

"Same," I mumble.

I know for damn sure Dexter has been as celibate as a monk, like Jameson and I have been. The thought of touching another woman turns my stomach.

The only telltale sign that Dexter misses Violet as much as we do is the look of sadness in his eyes whenever anyone says her name. He finally caves and says, "Fine, I miss her too. But we are a packaged deal. She has to choose all of us, not just one of us—understood?" Jameson and I nod in agreement. "Though I'm not sure she'll forgive us for our deception."

"There's only one way to find out. It's time we show our little sub how much her Doms want to take care of her."

It takes us four days to wrap up our overseas commitment and pass on the project to the team manager. We're all at our wit's end, craving Violet. Hopefully, it doesn't take much groveling before she forgives us because I can't wait to spank her luscious ass.

Our driver barely has a chance to stop the car in front of our Seattle office building before we jump out in our eagerness to get to Violet. Deciding to forgo the slow elevator, we dash up the stairs until we reach Violet's floor.

"Where is she?" Jameson rushes to her desk. "All of her stuff is gone. This desk doesn't look like it's been used in weeks."

"If you're looking for Violet, I had to let her go." A superior-sounding Carla walks over to stand next to Jameson. "She was a horrible employee, and with the budget cuts, she was the first to go."

"What budget cuts? And she's an excellent employee." Dexter glares at Carla, his jaw clenched tightly, waiting for her to answer his question.

"Well, that might be so, but she's a woman of loose morals, getting pregnant when she isn't even married."

"She's pregnant?" I can't keep the smile off my face. My plan worked. It might have been a dick move, but I don't care as long as Violet is tied to us for life.

"Um, yes." Carla looks confused at my happiness for an employee she thinks we barely know.

"Why are you so happy? The baby isn't ours. Club Sin has very specific rules, and birth control is at the top of that list. She's obviously moved on." Dexter growls.

I ignore Dexter's dark look and Jameson's hurt look and turn my attention back to Carla. "How far along is Violet?"

"I would say about seven months by now, Sir."

"Thank you, Carla. You can go now." She takes a step towards the exit, but before she can make a clean getaway, I stop her with my words: "Oh, and Carla, don't ever call me Sir again. There's only one person who gets to call me that."

"Yes, Mr. Raines."

Dexter isn't as nice as I am, as he commands Carla to leave, "Out!"

Carla rushes out of the room faster than I've ever seen her move.

"So what? She's seven months pregnant. It doesn't make the baby ours." Jameson leans against Violet's desk. The deep sadness in his voice has me cursing the day we agreed with Dexter to leave Violet alone.

Instead of punching Dexter like I want to do, I come clean about my involvement with Violet's nonfunctioning birth control pills, "The day you caught me reading Violet's diary wasn't the first time I'd read it. What you caught me doing was reading her diary after I replaced her real birth control with an exact replica of fake birth control pills in her purse. And before you ask where I got them, remember money talks. You can get anything you want if you have the money—which we do."

"I can't believe you fucking fucked with her birth control pills. If she doesn't already hate us this will definitely do it." Dexter angrily paces the office.

I don't give a shit what Dexter thinks. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but I need to know how Jameson feels about what I did, "What about you? Are you going to side with Dexter?"

"We're going to be dads." A goofy grin breaks out across Jameson's face, and I know I have one of them on my side.

"It still doesn't make it right." Dexter continues to grumble. "We don't even know where she is. Have you tried calling her?"

"You know damn well she's blocked all of us." I seethe, reminding Dexter that it was his idea to block her number first.

"Stop fighting, you two. We have to find the mother of our child."

"George." I snap my fingers. "Our driver, George, took her home each time she left Club Sin. He'll know where she lives."

We rush to the car, giving George the order to take us to Violet. Now, if we can convince her to forgive us, this day will be perfect.
