Chapter 11

brODY

“ T his is all your fault,” Selena hisses, and I can’t help thinking how cute she is when she’s mad.

For the first time since becoming our assistant, she was late to work. And she’s right. It is our fault, but it couldn’t be helped. There wasn’t a fucking chance we were letting her go home last night after the session we had, so we all crashed at Noah’s place since his is the closest to the club. We had every intention of getting her back to her apartment with plenty of time to get ready this morning. But she looked so fucking sexy tangled up in the sheets that we had to have her one more time before getting her home.

“Not here,” she warns as I close in on her and press a kiss to the side of her neck. Her body begins to relax against me until she finds her resolve and nudges me away. Chance chuckles beside me in the elevator.

“Are you ashamed of us, beautiful?” he teases, his brown eyes glittering with mischief.

“Don’t be ridiculous. I just worry about people finding out.”

The elevator comes to a stop and the doors open to allow several employees into the small space. Two women I don’t recognize glance in our direction, smiling at us while ignoring Selena.

“Good morning,” they coo with a little wave.

“Good morning, ladies,” Chance greets with his typical schmoozy smile. Noah and I say nothing, offering them subtle nods instead.

Selena’s spine straightens and she rises to her full height. She’s a petite little thing, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t a force to be reckoned with when she wants to be. Her hands tighten around her new work satchel, and I can feel the jealousy radiating off her as the two women giggle to themselves. She has absolutely nothing to be jealous of, but I can admit I like seeing her this way.

Staring ahead with my face completely expressionless, I inch closer and brush my fingers against hers. Then, not surprisingly, she clears her throat and shifts out of my reach. It’s hard, but I manage to suppress a smile, knowing it would only piss her off right now.

As the elevator makes additional stops and people file in and out on their way to work, polite greetings are exchanged while Selena remains stoic and ignores us. She’s the epitome of professionalism, which is ironic, considering we marked her skin with our cum before allowing her to shower just a few hours ago. She’s trying to compartmentalize our relationship and I get her reasoning for it. But it doesn’t mean we’ll allow her to do it. At least, not for long.

Finally, the last person exits the elevator and we’re alone again. “You can breathe now, baby,” Noah says, and she glares at him while taking a breath.

“Are you really that afraid of people finding out?” I question, my casual tone masking a tinge of hurt. If she thinks she’s just a fuck toy for us, then she’s sorely mistaken. We made it clear in the beginning that we want more from her and that’s what she agreed to, whether she realizes it or not.

“I’m your assistant, Brody. What do you think they’ll say when they find out I’m sleeping with my bosses?”

“Who the fuck cares?” Chance cuts in, folding his arms over his chest.

“I do. Women have been called names for a lot less. This could ruin my professional reputation, one I’ve worked very hard to achieve.”

“You work on the top floor with us, away from prying eyes. Who’s gonna see us?” Noah adds.

“Ms. Abernathy, for one,” she retorts, and he scoffs.

“Brenda has worked for us for a long time and she knows what we get into.”

“I know. She so much as told me so in the kitchen last week.”

“Even so…” Noah pauses with a raised eyebrow before continuing. “We pay for her silence and discretion. I highly doubt she’ll run her mouth at the watercooler or in the mail room.”

Selena lets out an exasperated sigh. “I don’t want her to dislike me. I want us to be friends and I don’t see that happening if she knows I’m fucking my bosses.”

“Fucking your bosses? Is that all this is?” he snarls.

“You know what I mean,” Selena soothes, but it doesn’t do much to wipe the irritated expression off his face.

I gently tug at her elbow. “If this were just sex, then we’d find someone to play with at the club. But we all know it’s more than that.”

“You’re right. I’m sorry.” Her shoulders slump while she looks down at her shoes. “Even so, can we just keep this between the four of us for now?”

Before anyone can answer her, the elevator doors swing open and she makes a beeline for her desk. She may think this conversation is over, but I guarantee you it isn’t. Over my dead body will I keep my hands off her now that I’ve had her. We’ve kissed her, tasted her, and fucked her. She’s ours anytime we want, just as we’re hers.

We disperse, and with a heavy sigh, I stroll to my office and sit at my desk. Turning on my computer, I stare at the log-in screen for a long while, contemplating how to make her see what she truly means to us. While I’m not a fan of the term girlfriend , that’s what she is, and I’ll be damned if I keep that a secret. Office gossip be damned.

“What are you thinking so hard about?” Chance asks while leaning against my door.

“We’re together, and I want everyone to know it. I don’t care what she says or what excuses she comes up with.”

“I agree, but what can we do if that’s what she wants?”

Make her surrender. Make her just as crazy for us as we are for her.

“We all admit how desperate we are for her. Maybe we make her see how badly she wants us too.”

“Can you take care of these, please?” I casually hand Selena a stack of papers.

Without glancing up from her computer, she answers, “Of course, Mr. Smith.” Then she sets them on her desk and resumes her work.

A muscle in my jaw ticks at her strict professionalism, so I bend down and whisper, “I’d appreciate it if you did so sooner rather than later… Ms. Walker.”

At the formal use of her name—something I never do—her fingers cease moving and she directs her attention to me. She looks almost upset at how I addressed her, but she’s the one who wanted to play this game. I’m just following her lead.

Selena waits for me to say something else. Instead, I keep a passive expression when I turn and walk to Noah’s office without a backward glance. It’s several seconds before I hear her resume typing, letting me know she was unsettled by this brief interaction.

Good. This whole damn thing has me unsettled, so why should I be the only one?

I enter the room and close the door behind me, finding Chance sitting on the couch with one arm slung across the back. He and Noah are mid conversation when they both turn to look at me.

“What are you smiling about?” Noah’s forehead creases as he questions me.

I shrug. “Nothing.”

“Liar.” Chance smirks.

I take a seat next to him on the couch. “Just having a little fun is all.”

“Careful, your sadism is showing,” Chance cautions. “Don’t piss her off, man.” My best friend knows me well and probably has an idea of what I’m up to.

“But she’s so cute when she’s mad.”

Noah chuckles from his desk. “I dare you to tell her that. I wouldn’t mind seeing you get hit.”

“You just might get your wish because something tells me she’s about to be livid.”

Chance sits upright and pivots toward me. “What the fuck did you do?”

“Maybe I poked the bear a little.” I grin.

Noah’s interest is piqued and he leans in my direction, resting his forearms on his desk. “Explain.”

“I think our girl needs a reminder of how good it feels to be ours. Force her to think about it constantly like we do until nothing else matters. Make her see she can’t run from this, no matter where we are or what we’re doing.”

They ponder my words in silence before they both light up with wide smiles.

Noah reclines back in his chair. “So she asked us to be professional, but you’re going to be the opposite.”

“Is this some kind of fucked-up reverse psychology?” Confusion is written on Chance’s face.

“Something like that.” I smirk. “No woman wants to be kept a secret. I don’t care what she says. And while I promise to always be respectful of her, especially when we’re working, I need to make her see that we should take full advantage of every opportunity we get to enjoy this new relationship.”

“Fair enough. I can agree with that.” He nods. “So what do you have in mind?”

I tell them about the lewd note I just left for her, disguised as urgent work I needed done. They laugh, but quickly get on board with my plan. The whole thing could blow up in our faces, but judging by how much she’s enjoyed being with us so far, I doubt that’ll be the case.

For the rest of the afternoon, we torment Selena. Dragging her into secluded corners to steal kisses and play with her pussy. Calling her into our offices, pretending to need something when all we want is to make her come. She’s always hesitant at first, trying to keep up the facade. But after a few brief moments, her body gives in to what she craves and she easily submits, regardless of how hard she tries not to. She’s both pissed off and turned on for the entire day, and I’m just waiting for her to kick all our asses.

It’s five o’clock and I watch Ms. Abernathy walk to the elevators to head home. I rise from my desk and join my friends in Noah’s office, waiting for the fireworks to begin. After only a few minutes, Selena bursts through the door and slams it behind her. Her amber eyes are dark with fury as she levels a glare at us.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” she shouts with her fists clenched on her curvy hips.

“Whatever do you mean?” I bat my lashes at her, adding fuel to the flames.

“We’re not a bunch of horny teenagers. You can’t act like this at work,” she chastises. “We’ll never be able to keep this thing a secret with you?—”

I rest against the edge of Noah’s desk with one ankle over the other and my arms crossed over my chest. “We never agreed to keep you a secret.”

“That doesn’t mean you can disregard my wishes.”

Guilt swirls in my chest. Chance steps closer to Selena but proceeds with caution. “We weren’t disregarding your wishes, beautiful.”

“Then what would you call it?” she huffs.

“I thought I made myself clear before. I’m done pretending I don’t want you.” Noah’s tone is stern, and she drops her hands to her sides on a gasp. “You can fight this all you want, baby, but you belong to us now and we’ll have you when we want.”

Selena swallows, but holds his stare.

“Do you trust us?”

She’s quiet for a moment, appearing to lose some of her fight. “I think I’ve already proven that.”

His tone softens as he continues. “Then trust that we’ll take care of you, regardless of where we are.”

She nibbles the corner of her lip as she considers his words. I cross the room and take her hand in mine. “We’ve told you we won’t do anything to hurt you. Romantically or professionally. We need you to believe that.”

“I do,” she’s quick to respond as she gazes at me.

“But that doesn’t mean we’ll follow some hands-off rule of yours either. We’ll always be respectful, but you’re ours. And we’ll remind you of that every chance we get.”

Chance joins us and caresses her face. “I know this is new for you, beautiful. It’s new for us too. We’ve never been in a relationship like this, but we do take it seriously.” He strokes his thumb across her cheek and she leans into his touch. “You don’t have to be afraid.”

“And you don’t need to make excuses to keep us at arm’s length,” Noah adds. “You can enjoy us as much as we enjoy you.”

She finally smiles and relief washes over me. “Is that so?”

“Definitely,” I confirm.

Selena focuses her brown eyes on me. “Then how might I enjoy you right now?”

“Lose the clothes and get on your knees. I think you need to make me come with your mouth.”
