If someone had told me as a kid living in foster care what my life would end up being like, I wouldn’t have believed them.
First, the horrible part of being kidnapped and used as a sex slave would’ve sounded like something out of a horrible movie.
However, even the good parts, I wouldn’t have believed either.
The club’s rescue of me and giving me a home and family was even more unreal in a way.
And the part where I would make a best friend who turned into the love of my life would’ve been the component I disbelieved the most.
The past sixteen plus years with the Infidels had been incredible.
We had some rough times.
People were lost.
Members and their partners went through rough patches and tragedies.
New members were added, and they had to go on their journeys to find their happily ever after.
However, no matter what was thrown at us, we remained strong as a family and a club.
Ruin and I had been married for nine-and-a-half years.
Our house was the same fabulous one we’d built at the club’s insistence.
I continued to work for the club, although I was taking on more work for them.
Talon and Pitbull’s company had exploded, and he wasn’t able to keep up with as many of his treasurer duties as he once had.
I was happy to help.
I was driven crazy some days by my sixteen-year-old son, Shane.
Overall, he was a good kid, but he was adventurous and a boy.
Our daughters, nine-year-old Cambria and seven-year-old Larissa were a different kind of craziness.
I knew as they got older, the things that made me insane would change.
As for Ruin, well, he was already living in dread of his precious daughters dating.
He, Shane, Dad, Ex, and basically every guy on the compound were determined the girls would never date.
I wished them luck. No way were my girls being deprived. They tried it with Morgan and then Olivia to no avail, but they kept hoping.
More children were added to the Infidels’ clan.
It was crazy to think Morgan was the oldest at twenty-four and Zavier was next at twenty.
In between were a mix of teenagers all the way down to babies.
After the girls, Ruin and I decided no more.
I was willing to try for a son, but he told me he already had Shane, and he was more than enough.
It was still about six months away, but I was planning a surprise for him.
On our tenth wedding anniversary, I was taking him on a honeymoon trip.
The wedding was a massive event that any woman would’ve loved, and he agreed to do anything I wanted.
We had a honeymoon at the beach but said we’d go overseas later for a bigger one.
Before we knew it, kids and life got in the way, and we kept making excuses.
Well, I have news.
We are going to Scotland, a place we both wanted to go to, but he had dreamed of this since he was a kid. It was happening, and I had the help of numerous people to pull it off.
Our sex life has expanded to include a lot of fun and thrilling things.
On a rare occasion, I’d have a flashback to the past, and he’d help me through them, but I was never afraid of him.
I didn’t regret my past because if it weren’t for it, I wouldn’t have met and found my family and my husband.
I hoped we’d live another sixty years together, but that wouldn’t be enough for me to have my fill of Tanner Fulton.
