Chapter Eleven

I couldn’t breathe. My chest was too tight as I stepped away from Warner’s touch. I never wanted to leave. I had thought I would never see him again, let alone feel his hands on me. But he wasn’t the only one.

Turning on my heel, Rainer’s waiting gaze met me. His arms were at his side. He wasn’t Murphy, knowing I would meet his embrace in the middle. He wasn’t Warner who took what he wanted without a thought to the others around him.

We had been through too much together. He may have been the leader, but in this moment, when it came to us, he needed me to come to him. And so I did. Jumping forward, his arms finally left his sides, wrapping me up tightly.

Pressing my face against his chest, I inhaled his scent, a reminder that he was really here. He had come back to me. I hated that I doubted him. If there was anyone who would find their way, it was Rainer.

His lips found my forehead, the warm touch lighting me up from the inside out. “I’m here, Less.”

The words were exactly what I needed to hear. It didn’t matter that I was touching him, that I could still feel Warner at my back, I needed the verbal confirmation that they were really here. That I hadn’t lost them like we had lost so many others.

After several moments, I stepped out of his embrace, Rainer’s hands gripping my sides as if afraid to let me go. I knew exactly how he felt. As long as I lived, no matter if they were always at my side, I would never forget the utter grief of watching them fade away as the train took off.

Turning toward the rest of the room, Sasha and Mina stood with large smiles, Aiden looking off to the side with red cheeks. I couldn’t help but chuckle at his expression, knowing I would feel the same if I had seen him embrace two different women the way I had Rainer and Warner.

After Aiden realized the reunions were over, he dragged me into a hug and I was reminded that he was probably scared out of his mind. We had been gone for nearly two days. Which also reminded me that we had a lot to discuss.

I wished I could say that was at the forefront of my mind. But if I was being honest with myself, all I wanted to do was lock myself away with the three men at my back.

By the way Warner shifted closer to me, his hand a ghost of a touch against my back, I knew he was thinking the same. Maybe it was careless of us. Maybe we should have cared more about what was happening around us. But when Sasha spoke, I could have kissed her from gratitude.

“Alessia, you stayed up all night keeping watch, why don’t you go rest?” She turned toward Rainer, throwing an arm around him in greeting, Mina right behind. “We should probably fill you all in on what we found. Rainer, I’m sure you’ll want to hear. Probably itching to take these jobs and make them yours.”

Rainer rolled his eyes at her words, but when he didn’t deny it, we all chuckled. Sasha shooed everyone toward the front counter, sending me a wink over her shoulder. I could see the debate in Rainer and Murphy’s eyes as they followed her instructions, their gazes skating over me.

Warner’s warm palm connecting with my back was the sole thing to urge me forward and when he whispered in my ear, I was nearly sprinting toward the elevator.

“I need a shower.”

With his touch pushing me forward, I led him toward the elevator, my foot tapping impatiently as the floors ticked by. When we exited into the main room, dozens of heads turned our way. Elizabeth was one of them, and her eyes widened.

Matthew also noticed, stepping forward at the strange interruption. I held up a hand, not in the mood to discuss with him that Warner was safe. Well, at least safe for me. I’m sure his blank expression and towering frame didn’t instill comfort in the others.

Unfortunately for them, I had no care in the world besides being alone with him. With determined steps, I walked through the door and toward our room. When I stood outside, I belatedly realized I didn’t have the key.

Sighing, Warner reached around me, scanning the key and opening the door. With questioning eyes aimed toward him, he winked.

“Murphy slipped me the key.”

I had no clue when that had happened, but I also didn’t care. Not a second passed after the door was closed and suddenly I was pressed against it. Warner lifted me easily, my legs wrapping around his waist as he brought my face level with his.

His eyes darkened with lust, and then his mouth was on mine. Our tongues tangled desperately, his hands squeezing the flesh of my ass as he pressed me harder into the door.

His cock was already hard, the delicious feel of him grinding into my center having my eyes roll into the back of my head.

Pulling from the kiss, his lips skated down my neck, biting and sucking to the point that I knew he’d leave a mark. I found that the thought sent a thrill up my spine, loving the idea that he would leave something behind. A reminder that he had been here.

Spinning us, he kept his grip on my ass, walking into the bathroom. He didn’t bother shutting the door, dropping me onto the counter.

“I really do need a shower,” he said, ripping his shirt over his head in one fluid movement.

My mouth watered at the dark hair that smattered across his chest, a trail leading to the waist of his pants. With a cocky smirk, he slid the pants and his briefs down his legs, stepping out of them and into the shower.

Turning the water on, he stepped under the spray. Rubbing my thighs together to ease the ache he had built, I enjoyed the show, watching as the water sliced over the cuts and ridges of his stomach.

His arms flexed as he massaged the soap into his hair, his eyes never leaving me. Once he was clean, he shut the water off, not bothering with a towel.

Standing before me, he didn’t give me a single touch, allowing his eyes to do all the work.

“My turn for a show,” he mumbled, sliding his hand down until he fisted his cock.

“Take your shirt off. Slowly.”

Following his directions, I slid the fabric up my body, flinging the material off to the side. Warner’s eyes darkened even further as he took in my bare chest, his hand tightening on himself.

“Now your pants.”

Lifting my hips, I wiggled the pants off my hips, allowing my underwear to follow. Completely bare before him, I felt no embarrassment. There was no guilt that only a few days ago, another man had seen me the exact same. There wasn’t room for any of that when this felt so right.

“The things I’ve dreamed of doing to this body,” Warner groaned.

Feeling powerful under his gaze, I said, “Show me.”

With a wicked grin, Warner invaded my space, dropping to his knees. Gripping one ankle, he draped my leg over his shoulder, tossing the opposite in the next moment.

Leaning forward, his hot breath hit my center, my body arching off the counter. His hands were immediately there, palming my thighs and keeping me still.

Turning his head to the side, he bit into the sensitive flesh of my thigh, my head tilting back against the mirror.

“Your eyes on me,” he demanded and I tilted back up, watching as his tongue peeked out, licking a path up the opposite thigh.

Sucking and biting around the spot I desperately craved for him to be, my breasts heaved with my erratic breaths.

“Warner, please,” I begged.

Apparently, those were the only words he needed because in the next moment his tongue was on me, licking a path up my center. Landing on my clit, he moved in a delicious rhythm, my eyes struggling to stay open and on him.

One hand trailed up my stomach, lightly squeezing my hip as he dragged me closer to his mouth. Continuing his path, he found my nipple, pinching until a jolt of pain mixed with the pleasure of his mouth against me.

“Oh my god,” I moaned, my legs tightening around his head as my entire body began to shake.

Warner didn’t let up even as my hands found his hair, gripping the strands. My entire body stilled as pleasure wracked through me, freezing every muscle. It was all too much to handle and my eyes finally shut, my head banging against the glass of the mirror as I fell over the edge.

When the waves of ecstasy finally subsided, Warner kissed a path up my body, the taste of myself filling my mouth as his tongue met mine.

Even as my body relaxed, completely sated, I knew this wasn’t over. Not with the craving look in Warner’s eyes.

“Off the counter,” he instructed, and I hopped down, my entire body pressing against his.

Gripping my hips, he turned me toward the mirror, bending my body slightly.

“Watch us,” he mumbled in my ear, nibbling on the skin.

Without any other warning, his hips thrust forward, his cock entering me swiftly. The motion had me falling forward, my hands catching my body. With an intensity I should have known to expect, he thrust inside of me, his hand finding the curls of my hair.

Pulling the strands, he tilted my neck back, kissing the sensitive skin as I stared into the mirror. I didn’t recognize the reckless woman before me, face flushed and eyes content.

Warner didn’t hesitate for a moment, taking what he needed from my body and when his hand pressed against my clit, I knew it wouldn’t be long. Moments later, a groan spilled from his lips, his hand tightening on my hair as he fell against my back.

“Warner!” I screamed as intense pleasure overcame me, unable to hold the sound back.

My stomach pressed into the edge of the counter, but the bite of discomfort didn’t matter, not in this moment. Panting, I saw the wide grin on my face in the mirror, satisfaction painting every part of my face.

Warner kept his hands on my hips as he met my grin with a smirk of his own. “I told you I’d have you screaming my name.”
