THE HOCKEY REPORT
“Good Morning, Boston. Eliza here, with my co-host, Colton, and we’ve got today’s Hockey Report.”
“Hello, Boston. Eliza, I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling like a kid at Christmas. Last night’s game was incredible. The Bolts have been unstoppable. The season was off to a shaky start, but if the last four games are anything to go by, they’re going to be playing for the Cup again.”
“I think you’re right, Colton. Though New York is looking just as strong. As is LA. But we’ve got the Langfield brothers. If I were Seb Lukov, I’d be feeling pretty good with those two on my team.”
“Did you see that trick shot Tyler Warren sent to Daniel Hall? The Langfield brothers may be well known, but they’re not the only stars. With the way Hall slapped it into the top corner of the net, there was no way Danner could have stopped that puck. I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t even find the puck. Not until the play was over and it was time for faceoff at center ice.”
Eliza sighs. “It’s a great time to be a Boston fan. That’s for sure.”
