My eyes slowly opened as sunlight drifted in through the windows. The air was crisp, but it was nice and cozy under the thick blankets. I was sandwiched between two hard bodies, one of them softly snoring in my ear. I stretched, slowly wiggling out between Ash and Hawk. Rosie was on the other side of Ash, curled up and sleeping soundly. I doubted she’d be awake before noon after the pounding she’d taken.
I grinned, thinking about last night.
You’d think that after five years, the four of us would be tired of each other. But the truth was, we weren't. And to keep things exciting we sometimes set up role-playing getaways like this adventure.
Not kissing Rosie for three days had been fucking torture, but it had been what Ash requested. And he’d been right, it’d made her desperate. The only reason I’d been able to keep myself from jumping on her was the anticipation and promise of two lumberjacks showing up, and well…
Last night fulfilled all of our fantasies. Rosie loved lumberjacks and CNC. We’d set up all the negotiations prior to this, and then left enough of the planning open so it would be an actual surprise.
I loved being degraded and humiliated. I’d told them to go hard on me, and they had. But even in the midst of some of that degradation, I remembered how much they loved me. That even though I enjoyed being humiliated within a kink setting, they still loved me as an equal.
Ash loved being rough and commanding. He’d been craving to let loose, and he certainly had. The ax had scared the hell out of us, but that’d been part of the fun.
Hawk loved being in control, but in a switchy way that balanced out our group well. He got to fulfill both parts of himself last night, and after we’d cleaned up, we’d all spent time talking about our favorite parts of the night. Surprisingly, Hawk most loved being forced to not come inside Rosie until Ash let him.
That, and surprising me with the porn. My reaction had been genuine.
Rosie really was my wife. I loved her more than anyone else in the entire world, except for Hawk and Ash.
We’d been married for eight years. Five years ago, everything had changed when we’d met Hawk and Ash at a retreat.
Since then, the four of us had been together, loving each other with the type of romance and care other people dreamed of. I was a neurosurgeon, but not quite as much of a dipshit as I’d been pretending to be this week. Rosie was a lawyer, and Ash and Hawk owned a resort about twenty miles north of here. There were times they had to travel a lot, but we all made it work, and even when it’d been a month or so since we’d seen each other—we all trusted in the love and life we’d built.
A rough hand settled on my hip, bringing me back down to the bed before I could escape to the kitchen. I melted as Ash surprised me with a gentle kiss, his hand sliding up behind my neck and massaging the tension out of my muscles. I groaned, relaxing against him.
“How are you feeling?” he murmured.
“Good,” I whispered. “Sore.”
He nodded. “We were really intense last night. I just wanted to check in with you again and to tell you I love you.”
“I love you too,” I said. “And I know you do. Or else you wouldn’t have hiked through a storm to get to us.”
He snorted and rolled his eyes. “We did not know there’d be a storm. I nearly had a panic attack out there, but Hawk is really good with maps. Next time, we need to check the weather first.”
“I was getting worried,” I said, thinking about the anxiety I’d felt waiting for them.
I’d known they’d be arriving last night. Rosie didn’t though, which had been for the best.
“But then I saw the two of you out there,” I said. “And it took everything in me not to immediately start yelling. And then to go into the right headspace.”
Ash smiled. “I’d do it again. It was worth the storm. Did you enjoy doing this? I know we all play like this often, but it was much more intense.”
I nodded eagerly. “I loved every second of it.”
“Good. I already have ideas for next year…”
I raised a brow. My stomach did a slow flip. Ash always had interesting ideas. “Oh, do you?”
“I do,” he said. “But we have plenty of time to make more plans. Given how active we were last night, I think we could use some food. I think I might make us all breakfast.”
“I’ll cook,” Hawk grumbled behind me.
We both turned our heads to look at Hawk.
“Have you been eavesdropping?” Ash teased him.
“ No . I was woken up by the sound of you two being sappy and yappy,” he muttered.
“So yes?” I asked. “You heard every word.”
“Reluctantly,” Hawk muttered. “I’m surprised you didn’t sleep in.”
I grinned. Hawk was the sweetest of us all, unless he was woken up and hadn’t had coffee.
“I want French toast,” I said.
Hawk sighed dramatically. “Fine.”
“And bacon,” Ash said.
“Obviously.”
The bed squeaked from the opposite side. “The three of you are being so fucking loud,” Rosie hissed suddenly.
“That’s what I’m saying,” Hawk agreed.
Her head popped up, her face still smeared with mascara and hair a beautiful mess. “I love all of you, but either move to the kitchen or go back to sleep. This pussy is not getting up for anything except to piss or drink coffee.”
“Not even for gifts?” Ash asked.
Rosie and I both tilted our heads. “Gifts?” I asked.
He smiled. “ Who are you talking to right now?”
He had a point. Ash’s love language consisted of gift giving and fucking you while you begged him not to (even though you definitely wanted him to).
Hawk grunted and sat up, cracking his neck. “Coffee.” He got out of bed, buck naked, ass facing us.
I couldn’t help but pout.
“My god,” Ash snorted. “You’re too horny, Dr. G. He’s pouting because you didn’t fuck him awake.”
Hawk shook his head as he opened the closet door, digging out the extra bag I’d brought with clothing for him and Ash. He pulled out a pair of sweatpants and pulled them on.
“Coffee,” he said again, sounding like a zombie. “Then we’ll see if my body parts are working after last night.”
Rosie sighed happily and rolled over onto Ash, and then managed to wiggle between the two of us. I cupped her face, bringing her into a gentle kiss that deepened.
“Morning, Rosie,” I said, kissing her again.
“Hi,” she said, smiling. “Thank you for last night. But I have to say, I was genuinely pissed you didn’t kiss me for three days.”
Ash chuckled. “My fault. But it pleases me to know you obeyed so well.”
She scoffed. “You’re so mean to us.”
“You know you like it,” Ash teased.
“We do.” She curled into me. I smiled, wrapping my arms around her.
“I love you,” I said.
“I love you too. Last night was amazing.”
She was right. I smiled, meeting Ash’s warm gaze over the top of her head. He winked at me before sitting up, giving Hawk a knowing look.
“Coffee,” Hawk said again.
“Coffee, gifts, and…” Ash trailed off.
“We do have four more days here,” I said.
Rosie lifted her head with a smirk. “We do.”
“And we are snowed in….”
“We are…”
“Coffee,” Hawk grunted.
Ash barked out a laugh. “Go make coffee.”
Instead, Hawk spread out his arms and dove onto the bed. Rosie squealed and I laughed as he dragged us into a bear hug, peppering kisses on us until Rosie broke down into a fit of giggles. Ash and Hawk squeezed us for a couple minutes before Hawk jumped up, strolling straight for the kitchen.
Ash rolled out of bed and stretched, his hair like a lion’s mane. Rosie laid her head on my chest, humming as she relaxed against me.
“Were you getting up yet?” she murmured.
“Nope,” I said. “I’m happy here with you.”
She smiled against my chest.
I had the perfect wife and a perfect life. I couldn’t think of another way I wanted to spend my time than with Hawk, Ash, and Rosie. Exploring kinks and fantasies with the three people I loved most in the world was a dream come true.
It was certainly a Christmas the four of us would never forget.
