46. Chapter 46

forty-six

Quinn

I exited the balcony and headed towards the pool, where the view was breathtaking. If you looked at it a certain way, it almost looked like it connected with the ocean. The walls were white, exactly what you would see if you Googled 'Greece cave pools.' This house was gorgeous, and the cave pool was beautiful.

I wasn't ready to get my hair wet, so I went to the edge of the pool and pulled myself up to sit on it. My back leaned against the wall for support.

As I watched the sunset, I thought about everything that had happened and how drastically my life had changed since meeting Alexander.

A splash brought me back to the present. Turning my head, I saw Alexander swim his way towards me. He rested his arms against the edge of the cave pool. I giggled, noticing Alexander trying to be sneaky. He moved an inch and then another inch until his arms rested on top of my thighs. His hands squeezed my thighs before resting there. He looked up at me.

I smiled.

Alexander Hades made me happy, and I couldn't wait to see what the future holds for us. His hand traced circles, getting closer to where I needed him the most.

"Alex, please," I begged him with a needy voice.

"Fuck," he hissed.

"I know, Princess. Me too." He rasped against me.He hooked his middle finger and slid my bottoms to the side, exposing my wet pussy.

"You're so fucking wet, Quinn."

"What are you going to do about it?" I challenged him.

His head disappeared between my legs, his tongue coming in contact with my pussy with one painfully slow stroke. "Fuck," I cussed, my back arched farther away from the wall, and my chest pushed itself into the air. "Do that again," I rasped.

He did even better. This time he closed his lips around my clit after he licked up my pussy, sucking lightly before his teeth grazed against it. I almost came out of my skin when I felt his fingers at my core. He slid a digit through my folds and stopped at my entrance.

A cry left my lips when he plunged two fingers inside. My hands reached out to grasp his hair, tugging hard. Alex altered between gentle licks and hard sucks on my clit. When I pushed my hips up, he groaned and devoured me even more. His fingers thrust inside me, and I felt the pad of his fingertips touching the top of my vaginal walls.

Alexander began making a "come hither" motion and curled his fingers up inside me, hitting my G-spot perfectly. Butterflies started forming in my stomach and moved throughout my body. I felt weightless. The building orgasm left me gasping for my breath but unable to pull in enough air.

Arriving at the Hades residence, Alexander parked the motorcycle at the front of the driveway in an effort to help us leave faster. Taking my hand, he helped me off the bike before intertwining our fingers as we walked inside the two-story house, hand in hand. The villa-style house was beautiful. The outside of the villa was all white, with some walls made of rock. Alexander guided us through the living room, dining room, and out the back door, where the patio was set up for dinner.

"Oh my God," an older woman yelled out, dropping the bowl full of pasta salad as she brought her hands to cover her mouth. It didn't take her long to close the gap between us. She wrapped her arms around me.

"I've missed you, Quinn," she cried into my neck. I looked up at Alexander, pleading for some kind of explanation as to who she was.She hugged me tightly, whispering how much she missed me. Alexander cleared his throat.

“Μητ?ρα, σε παρακαλ?, δεν θυμ?ται,” he explained. ("Mother, please, she doesn't remember.") She let go immediately and turned to face Alexander. "She doesn't remember?"

He shook his head, defeated. "No, Mother. She doesn't."

I gasped. Bloody hell, the woman who was suffocating me was his mother. I tilted my head to the side to study her, and I could see the similarities.A younger woman approached us. She brought me in for a tight hug before introducing herself. "Quinn, lovely to meet you again. I'm Aurora." She looked familiar, and I remembered Alexander mentioning that his sister attended the same school. I may have seen her pass through the hallways before.

Suddenly, my head started to hurt, and I could feel my world spinning.Memory after memory assaulted my brain.

"Quinn, this is my sister Aurora Hades," Alexander introduced us. She was beautiful—a Greek goddess. His entire family was lovely. His brothers all had very similar characteristics to their father, and his sister was similar to his mother. While Aristotle and Alexander had their mother's eyes, his younger brother and sister had their father's.

I was waiting for Alexander to return when his sister sat beside me, "You must be really special to him. Please, don't hurt him," she pleaded. "You don't understand this, but you brought life to my older brother's dead heart. You brought light to his darkness. You brought him life." She smiled, wiping the tears from her cheeks.

"He loves his family, but outside of us, he doesn't know how to love anyone else. Except you, Quinn. You're the reason his heart beats. You showed him how to love, so my mother and I will always be grateful to you.The Hades men are difficult, and sadly, there's no room for happiness in their line of work. You know?"

I did know. Alexander Hades was a mafia man.

And I was his —-

Alexander caught me before I fell to the ground as I stumbled back.

I exhaled.

My heart was racing, and when I looked up, my blue eyes locked with his green ones. He pulled my hair away from my face. His eyes showed concern. All of their eyes showed concern. His entire family was watching me closely. "I–I had a memory," I said, trying to swallow the lump that had formed in my throat. "I remembered a conversation I had with Aurora," I revealed.

His eyes widened before a smile took over his handsome face. Aurora and his mother were crying. Alexander helped me up on my feet, and I held on to him. My memories were coming back to me. His brother Sebastian handed me a water bottle. Alexander opened the water bottle and held it to my lips. I sipped the cool liquid.

"I missed you, Quinn," Aurora whispered, wrapping her arms around me once again.

I smiled.

He held onto me tightly as we made our way to the table. Once seated, dinner was served. Alexander introduced me to his father, who was a very powerful man. He exudes power, danger, wealth, ruthlessness, and honor. He sat at the head of the table. To his right was Aristotle, and to his left was his wife. Sebastian sat next to his mother, followed by Aurora. Alexander sat next to Aristotle, and I sat next to Alexander.

Alexander kept one hand on my thigh, never once letting go, which I was grateful for. Feeling him squeeze my thigh brought me comfort, knowing he was by my side. Dinner was pleasant, and the conversations were light and interesting. There was no business talk.

The men had locked themselves inside their father's office while the women enjoyed the fire pit and the view. "How have you been, my sweet Quinn?" Alexander's mother asked me.

"I'm okay," I answered, still looking at the view in front of me. "I want to remember. I don't want to forget our memories, but—" I continued, pausing a second to swallow the lump that formed.

"I'm scared I won't remember."

"Oh, sweetheart," she said with so much emotion in her voice I was forced to turn and look at her. "Then you make new ones," she said, wiping the tears that had escaped my eyes. I excused myself and walked inside to freshen up. As I headed towards the en-suite, I heard Alexander's voice coming from his father's office.

"What the fuck does Irish want?" he snarled.

"He wants peace between us. The Irish are interested in an alliance and becoming part of the conglomerate," his father informed them. I could hear Alexander chuckle humorlessly. "Alexander, you and Aristotle will be meeting with him. And whatever you do, don't kill the fucking bastard," he warned him. Pressing my ear even further into the door, I could hear footsteps approaching, and I scurried away before the door opened.

I sat between Aurora and her mother. Why would Alexander want to kill Irish? But before I could let the darkness inside me take over, Alexander appeared, ready to take us back to our house.
