“Uriah!” ’s voice echoed through the clear night sky to no avail.

The werewolf was alone, but that wasn’t his immediate cause for concern. “Guess this is what I asked for, huh?” he muttered to himself as he examined his new reality.

Lovers' Lane Lake was no more. Instead, he stood at the bottom of it, looking up from the drained reservoir for some kind of clue as to what had just happened.

Littered in rubble, small puddles of muddy water, and empty beer cans, the sight was both unpleasant and nearly unbelievable. “The fuck did psycho Sabrina do now?”

“, listen,” came the same feminine voice that had taunted Uriah. “Remember what I tell you.”

’s eyes reflected the moon as they turned an amber color, his incisors and canines growing at a rapid pace as the veins in his forehead prominently pulsed. Odessa’s hands now appeared—wrapped around his head and digging into his scalp.

“Remember what?” cried out in agony.

As almost an answer to his question, found himself somewhere deep in the woods on what appeared to be a makeshift bed of cloth, flowers, and foliage. On every side of him, candles illuminated the darkness. Out of the shadows, Uriah appeared with a ravenous look in his eyes. Much like himself, the vampire appeared to have misplaced his entire wardrobe. His tattoos were gone, but his glistening muscles and rock hard cock were what really caught ’s eyes. Before the two could speak a word, Uriah pounced on , his hands grabbing his nipples and squeezing them as he pulled him in for a kiss.

“Fuck,” moaned as Uriah’s hands took hold of his growing manhood.

Like a dream you’re only allowed to view as a bystander, was helpless to react or move. He felt Uriah’s hands go places he never thought they would— let alone could . He experienced the skill of the vampire’s tongue over what felt like every inch of his body. He winced as Uriah penetrated him.

Wha-wha-what’s happening? Is this a memory?

cried out—to his surprise—in pleasure. Uriah used ’s sternum to balance him, placing both his hands on his chest as he began methodically thrusting into him. “That’s it,” whispered Uriah.

Holy fuck. Uriah?

watched in awe as Uriah shook his entire body. He watched as his own hard-on bounced against his abs with every movement. He felt a burning rush coming through his body. That’s when he howled at the moon.

Almost in response, Uriah moved his hands to ’s cock and began tugging at it. With every sway of his hips, Uriah began to hiss and growl. It wasn’t long after that Uriah dug his teeth into ’s neck.

Shit, shit, shit! Stop! No!

All could do was look up into the night sky as Uriah fed. The sound of skin slapping against skin, along with Uriah’s accompanying growls, seemed to disappear as the wicked laugh of a woman came from the shadows.

“Hey, douchebag. Breathe.”

’s first visuals upon waking were blurry at best. Pain reverberated across his entire body. His chest felt tight; his throat on fire. Someone seemed to still be attacking him, but all he could do was struggle. The flashes came and went, almost as though he was falling back into time.

“Wake up!” shouted Uriah. Finally, the werewolf turned over and vomited up a lung’s worth of water.

As the naked man before him wheezed and whimpered, Uriah couldn’t help but laugh a little. “Well, I’ll be damned. I didn’t know werewolves could drown.”

His voice hoarse and his tone pained, cursed. “Fuck. You.”

“Well, apparently I did,” Uriah reflected, holding out a hand to pull his dazed counterpart up off the ground. He retracted it a second later after recalling the searing pain that came with their shared physical touch. “I mean fuck you, that is.”

Wobbling to his feet, once again coughed up a mouthful of water. “What in the hell just happened?”

“Well, I vividly remember you testing the fates and sending us both into a wacky sex-fueled time loop,” Uriah pointedly replied. “Then we kind of did it again when I started beating your chest to get you back to breathing right.”

“So, y-you saw it, too?” asked between gasps for air.

“Saw what? Us shagging, or the whole you killing me part?” Uriah continued as he walked along the lake’s border to retrieve his clothes.

“I killed you? More like you tried to have me for dinner.”

“Please,” scoffed Uriah. “There’s garbage that tastes better than a werewolf’s blood. Not feeling up for these witchy games anymore, so I’m out of here, pretty boy.”

“Wait,” fumed as he followed the brief-clad vampire. “You’re not the least bit curious as to whatever just happened?”

Uriah turned around to face him. “Trust me,” he said as he looked him up and down. “I’m way past curious. Whatever we’ve discovered—I’ve discovered—just shows that you’re the last person I should be trusting.”

Confused, enraged, and not ready for Uriah to just dismiss him, a flustered put his full weight into an attempt at shoving him to the ground. Vampire agility on his side, Uriah was quick to get the upper hand and instead tossed ’s body some fifteen feet like a rag doll.

“Hey,” groaned. “No visions from that one.”

“Don’t make me get angry,” Uriah sneered, grabbing up his clothes and boots and turning to walk off.

winced. It was as though he could almost feel Uriah’s teeth sinking into him. ?Maybe this was a warning. Maybe it was a sign.?

?It was a fictitious memory planted by the ghost of some bitter lake mage,? Uriah replied. ?That or I ought to make you beg for a silver bullet right now.?

“For all I know, you’re the reason we’re like this! Why I have no memories and no past. Why you deserve no future,” howled . At that point, the rage became too much to bear. The moon illuminating his figure, his hands changed into dangerous weapons, his frame shuddered as it slowly twisted and morphed, and he craved the kill.

“Oh, what now? The infamous Silver Wolf is gonna appear? Got me shaking. That’s big talk for a little wolf cub,” said Uriah between gritted teeth. When no one responded, he spun back around.

was gone. Nowhere to be seen.

Uriah arched his brow.

“Who said anything about little?” heaved a voice from behind him.

Before Uriah could even react, had slammed so hard into him that both of them went careening back into the lake. The magic magnet between the two of them erupted with a force strong enough to rock the nearby trees as a cloud of dust and debris shot out from every side of the water. The surface of the water rippled as the pair took a plunge.

?You seem to forget that I’m the one who doesn’t need to breathe , ? Uriah reminded as he broke free from his hold and punched him square in the stomach.

’s transformation into his wolf form continued, his skin falling away as it was replaced with the coarse silver fur of his true nature. ?You seem to forget that there’s one thing a werewolf is the best at.?

?Doggy paddling?? scoffed Uriah.

?No.? dashed forward and grabbed Uriah by the neck. ?Killing vampires.?

As moved to dig his teeth into the vampire, the same electromagnetic force that exploded around them before ignited once again. The water filled with an array of bright, unnatural colors, and both men let out an uneasy whimper.
