“Get off of me!” Pruitt demanded as he broke free of Regina’s grip and pushed her to the ground. Her newly sired mate quickly tackled him.
“I’ll deal with you later,” said as he gave Regina a scornful look.
“Nothing personal, man,” the vampire on top of Pruitt spoke nervously. “I’m just really, really needing a quick bite to eat.”
His arms pinned, Pruitt could only wriggle as the vampire moved in for his neck. dashed forward to Pruitt’s aid but was promptly tripped by his girlfriend.
“Perhaps you two should start your own comedy act,” Regina cackled.
“A little help before he, you know, bites me?” Pruitt shouted.
Gaining his footing once again, realized he had dropped his makeshift stake and scrambled to find it. “Bite him first!”
?Huh, I never thought of that , ? the vampire heard Pruitt exclaim. Letting out the howl of a wolf, Pruitt bared fangs of his own and sunk them right into the vampire’s face.
“This is not how it goes in the movies, Regina!” the vampire screamed as he fell off of Pruitt and rolled on his back, clutching his wound.
“Yeah, but this is ,” replied as he drove his pool stick into the vampire’s chest cavity.
The vampire exploded into a cloud of dust.
“Regina, let’s consider that as me breaking up with you, okay, love?” said solemnly.
Regina pouted.
“Nice,” Pruitt said with a thumbs up.
“Thanks. Let’s go.”
