The sounds of the football stadium drifted across the moonlit parking lot. A cold fall breeze sent discarded beer cans rattling along the pavement. Pulling his signature leather jacket over his shoulders, the bearded vampire adjusted the collar of his form-fitted button-up as he leaned on his motorcycle. He scoffed upon realizing he had missed a few extra buttons at the top and quickly fixed them.
“Leave it like before. It’s what you want to do.”
nearly fell off his bike when he looked up and realized who it was. “Regina. What is it that brings you to a football game?” he said with a scowl. “It’s not a buffet, you know.”
“Showing a little school spirit,” his ex-beau said with a sinister smile. “Looks like you’re all dressed up for something special. What brings you here?”
“Well, just thought I’d put on a nice shirt and keep up social appearances at the big game.”
“Nice shirt for who, me ?” Regina asked as she moved closer. Without warning, she threw her legs up onto the motorcycle and began straddling .
“Uh, not quite what I was thinking since the whole attempted murder thing at Witch’s Brew,” replied as he promptly picked her up and moved her off of him.
“Oh, come on,” cooed Regina. “What’s a little attempted murder between lovers?”
“Look, whatever we were before is not what we are now, Regina. I dumped your murderous, backstabbing arse for a reason.”
“Don’t act like you’re so innocent, ,” Regina teased, baring her fangs.
“Speaking of innocence—or lack thereof—what big baddie’s orders are you following tonight?”
“You’re rude,” Regina hissed as she put her arm on ’s shoulder and leaned into him. “And that’s why I’m not telling you.”
Following Regina’s recommendation, turned his attention to his shirt and undid a few extra buttons. As he pressed his body into hers, she traced her fingers across the furry, tattooed chest that was now exposed. “Telling me what exactly, huh?” he asked as he gently put his hand on her neck and spun her around.
Regina let out a light gasp as she felt her body pushed against his motorcycle. “I knew you couldn’t resist.”
“Sometimes it’s like you know me better than even I do, love,” said with a wicked grin.
“Yes, baby,” Regina said as she pressed a kiss against ’s chest. “That’s why I know you won’t be happy with what I’m about to tell you.”
“No?” quickly pulled Regina back up and held her against him. “You love how I get when I’m angry.”
“I do,” Regina giggled. “That’s why your new little human friend and his werewolf boyfriend are going to die tonight.”
Regina didn’t expect what came next.
“Regina,” began , moving in for a kiss. The vampiress closed her eyes and puckered her lips before letting out a surprised, raspy gasp. Blood dripped from her mouth as she looked down at the stake had driven into her chest.
“You’ll want to tell me everything, love,” he said as he adjusted his grip on the piece of wood. “You know, before I make it to your heart.”
