Janelle,
Hello! I know you are a very busy woman, and I sincerely appreciate you taking time out of your day to read this email. This is a bit unorthodox, but I heard some talk from my friend Barry—— he's a publisher—- do you know him? Anyway, he mentioned that there was talk about Mr. Lovett doing a book tour for his new release, The Thread Untied. Things don't usually work this way, I know, but I wondered if there was any possibility of him making a stop at our store. It's the cutest little shop in Coral Beach Oregon, the views are amazing.
You see, my ex-husband (long story) co-owns the store with me, and is going through a rough time. Mr. Lovett has been his favorite author since the first book he published. Like, seriously, he's obsessed. It would make his day, hell, his life if Carsen added Well Written to his tour. I know sometimes these things are out of your hands, but what's that saying? "The answer is always 'no' if you never ask?" I don't know, something like that.

I have to say, your email was a delightful find amongst piles and piles of spam. And junk, if you catch my drift.
I spoke with Mr.Lovett about your request, and he was absolutely ecstatic to hear from your store. He mentioned that he had been there years ago, and has very fond memories of the place. So fond, in fact, that he wanted me to see if the invitation could be extended into a full launch-party. We are more than happy to cover any expenses this may incur.
