CHAPTER 10
ALEXEI
“I dunno, Jax. I don’t know why you’re all worried. They can’t hurt that bad.” I flip through a flash catalog on the counter of the tattoo shop.
“I still can’t believe you don’t have any piercings. How can you have that much art on your body, but no metal?” Jax clicks his tongue bar against his teeth.
I’ve found myself rattling my candy in my mouth the same way. It always gets a response from Nikolai when I do.
Sometimes it’s a smack to the back of the head, but it’s a reaction.
“Why are you getting one? You already have that one.” I gesture at my lips. Every now and then the English words slip away from me.
“I have more than just that one.” Jax winks one of his dark eyes at me, then sits in the chair next to the artist.
“Oh, I guess your ears count?” I never paid attention, but see the studs in his lobes beneath his curly hair.
“More than them, too.” Jax grins at the ceiling as he leans back, closing his eyes as the man wipes his eyebrow with a square cloth.
Glancing at the pictures on the wall of various jewelry, one with nipple rings stands out.
Great big breasts with heavy bars through the tips. They’re hard not to look at now.
“Um, you got some of them?” I point up, afraid to avert my eyes in case the photo disappears.
A magazine flutters across the room and hits my upper arm. “Stop ogling,” Jax laughs before settling into the chair again.
“Well, do you?” Fine, I won’t stare any more.
“No,” he grunts, not even opening his eyes.
“Then where?” Why haven’t I asked him this before?
Jax holds up one ringed hand and makes a finger pistol before pointing it at his own crotch.
Wait.
“Why in the fuck would you do that?” I pinch my own cock in sympathy pain.
“Drives the women wild,” he chuckles just as the tech shoves a needle through his eyebrow.
He didn’t flinch.
“Didn’t that hurt?”
“Not really. I wanted to get Sofia and the kid’s birthstones.” He sits up and turns the silver new bar towards me. “What do you think?”
“I think I want one.”
“Like this?” Jax points to his temple.
I shake my head and move to the case where all of the accessories are. “No, like that.” There’s a bar through the underside of a plastic dildo standing in the corner.
Jax breathes out, blinking. “Are you sure? That’s a pretty hefty thing to start with. Why?”
Lara will need extra cheering up once she finds out about Nikolai.
Maybe this will help.
Her and I aren’t “that way”, but if I have it, I bet it will still make her smile.
“You said it didn’t hurt.” I glance at the artist who’s watching me with a smirk. “I want that one.”
Jax claps me on the back. “I’ll wait out here. I don’t want to see your junk, man.”
How bad can it be?
“Follow me.” The short tattooed man with a rod through his nostrils beckons me into the same seat that Jax had been in.
“Never done this before, huh?” He sits and snaps on a new pair of blue surgical gloves. “Unzip your pants.”
I might regret this.
Pulling my dick out in public isn’t an issue.
Having someone else touch it, is.
“I have to sterilize it, this might be cold.” He swabs around the tip with the iciest piece of cloth I’ve ever felt.
And I’ve fallen into a snowbank. Naked. In Russia. In January.
It was not like this.
“Okay, you might feel a poke.” He glances up at me with his forehead furrowed. “Ready?”
I grit my teeth and turn away. “Do it.”
Then he stabs me.
Through my penis.
“Holy der'movyye shary!” I scream. “Jax! It hurts!” I hope he heard me.
His laughter confirms he did.
“All set. Looks good on you, big boy.” The guy rolls away, peeling off his gloves.
My cock twitches under the fluorescent lights and the metal rod catches the glare.
It throbs, and not in a need to jack off.
But like, I should put some ice on it.
“Here, you put this on it until it heals up in a couple of days.” He hands me a little tub with some sort of gel.
“Wait. Days? How long will it hurt?” I’m already regretting this. “I have a party to plan. It’s the most important thing to me. I can’t be slowed down with a sore dick.”
The small man shrugs. “Then maybe you shouldn’t have gotten a cock piercing today.” He stands then walks to the counter. “Come on over, I’ll ring you up.”
I don’t want to move.
When I push my aching bits back into my pants, it feels like fire in my crotch.
Keeping my legs spread to reduce the friction, I waddle into the office area in the front of the shop where Jax is waiting.
“How ya doing?” He grins at me, clicking his tongue bar.
I want to rip it out of his mouth.
“Stay away,” I grumble, digging my wallet out.
He laughs again. “I still don’t know why you did that. You get that for Lara?”
Jax throws up his hands and feigns away when I half-heartedly swing on him.
I know he’s the King of Chaos in the boxing ring. I’m no match for him, but I could always get lucky.
“Don’t be stupid. I got it because you said it didn’t hurt.” Waving off the receipt, I start hobbling towards the door.
Every step moves my pants against the tender tip of my dick.
“I meant the brow one.” Jax points at his eye, shaking his head. “The fact that you thought getting your pecker poked wouldn’t be painful makes you the crazy one, not me.”
I’m only crazy when I’m not around her.
She mellows me.
But the last thing I want is for her to come back and see me walking like an old man.
Maybe I’ll tell her about Niki, that way she stays a few more days and I can get rid of the last loser who hurt her feelings without trying to limp up on them.
I need to go home and put an icepack on my crotch.
Besides, Sheila misses me.
