CHAPTER - 25

"M a...Maharaj... I need to talk to you alone...", she said, finally deciding on telling him the most important thing he needs to know about their relationship...

Abhyansh nodded and walked to his office, and she followed him hell afraid... Amrutha and Avyan wanted to ask Isha but they let her go to talk to the king first.

Isha entered his home office and shivered looking at the alcohol glass in his left hand and burning cigar in the right, his left foot tapping the floor impatiently... She can sense he is very angry with the cold aura around him but what she didn't know is, he is not just angry but hell furious... otherwise, he never drank first thing in the morning...

He knew she is going to stay with her brother for a week from today, but she didn't bother to tell him till now, though she informed him that she would be going next week, she didn't tell him the exact day and when she abruptly stopped the discussion that day, he expected her to bring it on again, since he told her that he didn't want her to go but she never did and that hurt his ego, didn't his opinion matter to her?? Didn't he have any value in her eyes, was she compelled to do everything, he thought??

She, having no idea of his inner thoughts, added more fuel to the fire.

"M.. Maharaj, I... you... question... ", she fumbled, hearing her scared tone, his furious foot-tapping halted but he didn't turn... he is very angry, and she should know it.

Isha calmed herself and started again...

"Maharaj, you asked me a question last week, and you asked me to think about it, I have thought about it and my answer is 'No', forgive me, but we cannot have a normal husband-wife relationship", she said, her heart started beating wildly with fear, she didn't know why but she is extremely scared to tell him that but she has no option, she had decided this a week before and she is bound to give him an answer... It took all the courage she could ever muster up to say these few words to him without fumbling...

Even uttering those words made Isha's heart break but she already decided, and she was sure that is the best decision for her. Tears slipped from her eyes but she kept wiping them...

As soon as those words left her mouth, Abhyansh shook with anger, a wild crazy, and raw anger took over his entire system... It wasn't his bruised ego or the feeling of insult hearing the rejection that caused him the fury, which should be the case if it was some other girl, but it was Isha that uttered these words, the one and only woman that managed to soften the BEAST.

Abhyansh saw red, he feared he would hurt Isha badly if he sees her face...

"Get out", he said in his cold tone controlling his temper... his volcano is about to burst out, he is holding on to the last straw...

"I want to... ", Isha started, she wanted to inform him about her visit to her brother's but before that, Abhyansh's fury broke...

" I SAID GET OUT ", Abhyansh growled pushing the massive teak wood office desk back...

A sob escaped Isha's throat in fear and pain, he never shouted this loudly or this harshly to her ever in their 11 and half months of marriage...

She gave him one last look before running away from there... his anger-filled growl is heard by the whole family. Ranveer rushed to his sister's room, but she locked the door... he kept knocking on the door followed by Amrutha and Avyan, but Isha didn't open it. After composing for 5 minutes, she told them that she wanted to stay alone for some time, and they reluctantly left her.

Her husband's voice held so much anger in it but she could also hear the pain and betrayal in it and that pained her more than anything. But how should she tell him that she couldn't accept him, not at the cost of her dignity. She remembered her late mother's teachings. She always asked Isha to never sacrifice her pride and dignity. And dignity and pride vary from individual to individual.

She didn't understand what to do, she is determined not to accept her husband, who mistreated her, called her sl*t, insulted her, declared her a maid in front of all the servants, and tortured her. She could try to forgive but did he ever ask it from her?? Did the mighty king regret his actions?? What's the guarantee that he wouldn't repeat them?? And what were the reasons that made him hate her?? And what changed?? She wanted to ask him everything, but she is afraid. After seeing him in so much of fury today, Isha is even afraid to go in front of him.

She took an hour to compose herself before packing her clothes for a week and walking towards the main hall to her brother. She wants to stay in the Rajput palace for a week. She needs it and considering the situation, her husband needs it too.

But she couldn't leave without telling him, that's not appropriate, so she kept her fear apart and called him but he didn't lift the call. She tried again but he didn't pick up. So, she left him a message and went to Rajput palace with her brother bidding bye to Amrutha and Avyan.

Abhyansh closed the doors of his office room as soon his wife walked out of it and from the secret passage, he left to the forbidden 4th palace at the back leaving his phone in his home office.

After venting out his anger for 4 long hours on different things, the BEAST in him finally calmed down a bit but not enough to go and actually talk to his timid wife whom he terrified with his fury this morning. He closed his eyes in regret, the sound of her sob after his burst out kept coming into his head. He shook his head and went to his pets to calm down more. And talking to them will definitely show him a way.

"Sharah, Veera... come here...", he said walking to their den, they growled happily looking at their master... caretaker of these both wild animals bowed his head and greeted the king who dismissed him and the man walked away bowing his head in respect, Abhyansh locked the door after he left and freed his favourite animals.

Both of them ran to their loving master as soon as they are freed, and Abhyansh patted them with care.

"I shouted at your queen, she is upset with me, very upset", he said and both of them looked at him curiously... seeing their master with these soft emotions is a first. "But it's her fault, she got me angry... how can she leave me and go for a week... she didn't even tell me, I was controlling even after that but what she uttered after that made me very angry... why can't she become my wife?? Why can't we have a normal husband-wife relationship??", he asked out loud and now that he did, his own self responded to him trying to show him the reality.

Why would she become his wife after all that he did to her?? She is still afraid of him, and did he do anything to make her fear go except for assuring her that he wouldn't hurt her?? She is slowly becoming habituated to him when he suddenly dropped the 'wife' bomb on her head, how would she respond?? Now that he thinks of it, he is understanding everything but still, his elephant-sized ego couldn't accept that his wife rejected him. He wants her more than anything in this world, she is his safe haven and peace. He didn't understand what's her problem, he wants her to express herself freely and he knew she would do that only when he becomes calm and did not get angry, he is aware that his wife is absolutely terrified of his anger. He calmed himself, though his fury returned whenever he thought of her words, and he decided to maintain his calm. He needs to make her believe that she can talk to him about anything and that he is approachable.

He decided to call her to have a talk with her, and for that, he needs his phone, he sighed and went back to his study. He never left his phone anywhere, he always took it with him, but at that moment, he was furious and didn't want to break it in his anger. It's not like he couldn't afford another one, but transferring all the data would take some time and he hated it though it's his assistants who did the job, he hated waiting. Also, he wants to keep his phone away and work on calming himself down without any disturbance.

Ranveer and Isha reached Rajput palace. Ranveer took her to her chamber, Isha is surprised to see it. Now, her chamber looked very modern with all the amenities which weren't been provided to her before. A huge walk-in closet is built into it and it has all the types of clothes Isha is comfortable wearing. Though her room is much smaller than the one she has in Ranawat palace, still it's huge and the changes and renovation made it very attractive. In the past, when the whole palace is renovated according to the modern amenities, her uncle intentionally left her chamber... but now her chamber looked the best in the whole Rajput palace.

"Bhai... all this??", She looked at her brother in surprise.

"My bacha deserves the best, this is nothing", Ranveer said, and Isha hugged her brother seeing his love...

"But bhai, this is unnecessary, I am here just for a week, you do remember that I stay in Ranawat palace, not here...", she said with a smile, still looking at the changes, she is very excited at all the new changes... she walked around her chamber exploring everything and Ranveer walked behind her with a peaceful smile on his face, his sister's smile is everything for him. He could even forget his morals to protect her and that's what he is going to do now.

"Ishu... now tell me, what did you tell Ranawat that made him so mad", Ranveer asked when she is arranging her wardrobe, he knew his sister is not good at paying attention to her words when she is working, so he took advantage of her to get things out of her...

"Bhai... I said 'No' to his proposal, I told him I can't have a normal husband-wife relationship with him", she said getting indulged in setting her clothes in her closet.

"What??", Ranveer's scream brought her out of her trance and she looked with wide eyes when she realized what she said, her husband didn't warn her not to tell him that he asked her this but she is not stupid, her brother would get suspicious if he gets to know this. Her husband just asked her not to tell anyone about her freedom... he wanted to let everyone think that she still has to take his permission for everything.

"Bhai... it's...it's nothing... leave about it please...", she said, Ranveer nodded as if understanding her and diverted the topic, they talked about random things, but his brain ran a marathon inside. If his brother-in-law asked his sister to give a chance to their marriage, then he must be treating his sister very well, not like a 'slave', above all that, he asked Avyan to call her 'Bhabhi sa' and the whole palace to address her as 'Rani sa', that clicked him, how his sister agreed to come to him without even asking him, then as if she just realized something, she said she would have to ask Abhyansh. When Ranveer asked him, he said 'No', but still his sister is here today, with him. She would have informed him if she asked her husband later and got permission, but she didn't mention anything like that. All this meant only one thing to Ranveer, his brother-in-law, the BEAST gave his wife her freedom, the FREEDOM she craved, Ranveer smirked at the realization. His plan upgraded with the knowledge of these new developments. He knew his sister would hate him for all that he is gonna do, but he had no option other than doing this, to protect his sister.

"Isha... Give me your phone...", Ranveer asked her...

"It's on the side table bhai", she said, she didn't even ask 'Why', that's the amount of trust she has in her brother, and he hated himself for breaking that... "Bhai, I'm gonna make lunch for us, it's very late, what do you wanna eat??", she asked making her hair into a bun, he smiled at her and told her 'anything' and she left giving him small smile.

"I'm sorry bacha, I am feeling terrible for breaking your trust, but this is necessary", he told to her picture on his phone's screen, which is his wallpaper. He took her phone, unlocked it and transferred all the contacts, and required data from it.

Later, he opened the texts and started reading all of them. His blood boiled reading the punishments the BEAST gave his sister at the start of their marriage. All of them strengthened his decision and removed all the doubts and guilt he is having before.

"You don't deserve my sister Ranawat, and I'll make sure you understand this", Ranveer said, called his men to get a new phone and new sim for his sister.

Abhyansh came back to his study and opened his phone to call his wife but her text brought the 'fury' that he is trying hard to calm...

"Leaving with bhai to Rajput palace" , her text read, she didn't even mention about returning back after a week, she was in a hurry and Ranveer decided to use this fact to raise suspicion in the BEAST's head. Abhyansh already lost his rational thinking when it came to his wife. He immediately called his wife but to his bad luck, her phone is with her brother.

Ranveer on seeing 'Abhyansh's contact fumed in anger, he took a deep breath, it's time to start his plan.

"Maharaj...", Ranveer answered the phone increasing Abhyansh's fury.

"Rajput, give phone to my wife", Abhyansh said controlling his temper...

"Your wife?? But here, in my sister's phone, your contact is saved as 'Maharaj', so you are only a 'king' to her, not a husband", Ranveer said infuriating Abhyansh...

"Rajput, if you don't want to get killed, give her the phone...", Abhyansh shouted, his fury reflecting his words...

"Forgive me Ranawat, but my sister doesn't want to talk to you after what you did to her", Ranveer said

"Rajput, I am coming there, will see how you'll stop me from taking my wife", Abhyansh said with a menacing tone, Ranveer got extremely furious, but he composed himself, he had to use his brain and emotions to win over the BEAST as power and anger doesn't work in front of him.

"She is very scared after you shouted at her, she is taking rest, let her rest", Ranveer used the 'Isha' card, he knew his brother-in-law cares for his sister, so wouldn't dare to hurt his sister, at least for now, he wanted to take his sister away from the BEAST before he gets to know the truth.

And as Ranveer expected, that stopped Abhyansh... he couldn't hurt his wife, he loves her a lot...

"How is she?? Ask her to call me after she wakes up, tell her I won't hurt her, or shout at her", Abhyansh's tone turned from fury to cold... it's not soft though, his soft tone is reserved for his wife alone.

"If she wants to talk to you, only then she will call you Ranawat, though I'll convey your message to her", Ranveer said and bid bye politely.

His words made Abhyansh restless, he understood she is very scared as he used that tone in the family palace for the first time after almost a decade and a half, the last time he used it was when he got to know his mother's truth. He closed his eyes to control his fury.

He walked out of the palace ignoring his mother's calls for having 'lunch', he made his way to his office, and his staff bowed in front of him, greeting him, he ignored all of them and went to his office on the top floor and started working. His mind drifted to his wife once in a while, but he is successful in shifting his attention back to his work.

Ranveer's assistant brought the mobile and the new sim, Ranveer sent messages to everyone in her contacts, her new number except for Abhyansh. He gifted the phone to Isha who scolded her brother for wasting money but as usual, Ranveer managed to convince her. He also mentioned to Isha her new number, and told her, he sent her new number to everyone in her contacts, and he also retrieved all the data in it. She thanked him with a small smile and kept the mobile aside.

Ranveer observed his sister's mood, she is very sad and gloomy, and she didn't even eat properly during their lunch. He understood why she is dull, but that didn't stop Ranveer, instead made his decision stronger, it is better to pull his sister away before she drowned completely in this relationship, thought he.

Abhyansh waited for his wife's call or message till night, but he received none. That is making him furious, it’s 11 at night but still, he is at the office, the whole staff is waiting for him to leave so that they can leave for their homes but there is no sign of him leaving. They are all shivering in fear as he is in a very bad mood since the afternoon, firstly he came very late to the office and that itself is a shock to the staff and above all that, he is furious, usually, his angry growls and screams are confined to the top floor and his fury was directed to only his immediate staff but today, the whole office is shaking because of his fury. Abhyansh tried her phone keeping his ego aside and it was switched off, which doubled his anger. He called Bhairav to find the reason for it and exactly after 10 minutes, Bhairav walked to him with the information at hand.

"Hukum, Mr. Ranveer Rajput got Rani sa a new mobile and a new number, the number was sent to everyone except for you... your highness...", Bhairav said looking down, he trembled in fear, he knew this information is going to make him furious and he is ready for the impact, but nothing came.

"Bhairav... Let's go to Rajput palace", Abhyansh said and walked out, he saw his staff standing still bowing to him in respect, he didn't feel an inch of guilt or regret for keeping them this late as it was not him who asked them to stay, it's their fear that didn't let them go to their homes even after they are done with their work. He never asked them to stay till he stays in the office, it's their stupid assumptions and fear, people who don't have the courage to do the right thing will have to suffer like this, thought Abhyansh.

"Yuvraj... The Royal BEAST started to Rajput palace", informed a man who is spying outside Abhyansh's office...

Ranveer sighed hearing the news... 'Stubborn Ranawat'...

"Don't know how many sins this BEAST will make me commit", Ranveer muttered calling his best friend Vikram for help who gave an earful for asking him to lie and play with Isha's emotions but when he explained that he is doing all this for Isha's safety, he agreed to do so.

Abhyansh came along with his men to the Rajput palace. He walked inside followed by Bhairav, whereas his other guards and men stayed outside, even Bhairav stopped at the entrance of the palace as Abhyansh doesn't want any of his men to see his family issues, he didn't like it at all. No man is supposed to look at the women of the house and this is strictly followed even in this era, Isha too follows it when she is at the palace but at work, she is a normal girl, and she loves to be that way.

Abhyansh saw Ranveer sitting on the couch, and his fury doubled looking at his face.

"Rajput...", Abhyansh said walking towards him.

Ranveer sighed inward and turned giving a surprised look to the BEAST.

"Ranawat... what a surprise?? You are here??", Ranveer said but his face paled hearing what the BEAST had to say...

"I don't have time for your games, I know you were informed of my visit, don't worry, your man is safe with my men... now tell me, where is my wife??", Abhyansh said calmly as it's very normal for him to know everything.

Isha came outside to give her brother the dessert he wanted but seeing her husband there, her face paled...

"Ma...Maharaj...", she fumbled walking towards them...

Abhyansh didn't like the scared look on her face, to even think that this fear on her face once gave him sick pleasure pained him...

"You came here so suddenly?? Didn't even inform me??", Abhyansh asked her coldly, he didn't want to show his soft side in front of anyone... definitely not in front of his brother-in-law who is a cunning b**t**d, Abhyansh already had a fair idea that Ranveer did figure out about his(Abhyansh) soft corner for his wife.

"Rajput... I need to talk to my wife alone", Abhyansh said and they were about to move inside but Ranveer said, he would leave them alone and they could talk in the main hall itself. He left them alone and went inside, well that's what they thought...

"I...I'm sorry Maharaj, I was about to tell you when you...", she said looking away, Abhyansh understood that she was talking about how he screamed at her to get out... "I called you, but you didn't pick up the call, so, I sent you a message and came here...", Isha said looking down... she couldn't look into his eyes, she is afraid...

"Look at me in the eye, what did I tell you??", Abhyansh asked softly... she looked at him once but soon avoided it and looked down again...

"Isha... look at me, please ", he said lovingly, shocking Ranveer who is hiding behind the pillar to hear their talk so that he could enter the scene at the right time... also, he didn't want his sister to say any assuring words like she would come back after a week or something like those which could spoil his plan.

"I...I'm scared", Isha said closing her eyes, a teardrop left her eye, and Abhyansh felt as if to stab himself for causing her this pain. She was taking slow steps towards him, and he had to spoil all of it with his fury.

"When will you come back??", He asked her softly wiping her tear with his thumb, he is not great with words, so he didn't understand how to assure her or ask her not to be scared. He just hoped she understood his gestures and she did, she understood what he wants to convey and his warm hand on her cheek is enough to make her fear go away. She wanted to tell him that she would return after a week when her brother entered the scene...

"Maharaj... I will come...", Isha started but Ranveer cut her off...

"Isha... bring some coffee for Mr. Ranawat... I am sure he didn't even have his dinner...", Ranveer said

"How do you know bhai??", Isha asked with confusion...

"He is spying on me", Abhyansh said and Ranveer's face paled...

"What??", Isha asked, shocked

"No, No, Ranawat is joking, it's just we have a few deals with your husband's company, so my people who went there for the work saw him working without break...", Ranveer said, and Isha nodded in an 'okay'.

"Have dinner Maharaj... I'll heat the food, just 5 minutes...", Isha said and Ranveer wanted to slap his head but to his luck, Abhyansh himself denied it. Isha nodded and went to bring coffee for him.

"Afraid of getting caught Rajput??", Abhyansh said after Isha went inside.

"Don't say all these things in front of my sister, she is innocent, she doesn't like all these things...", Ranveer said looking in Abhyansh's eye...

"Then why the hell are you challenging me Rajput?? You changed her phone and sim card and sent her new number to everyone except me, why??", Abhyansh uttered glaring angrily at Ranveer.

"Oh!, I didn't send you?? I'm sorry, I might have forgotten, sorry again but your wife must have called you from it, no?? After all you are wife and husband and it's not even a year for your marriage, you would be talking to each other at least once in every few hours, no?? That's how you got to know, right??", Ranveer said, though his insides are shaking with fear, he spoke all that to make Abhyansh realize that how bad of a husband he is...

"Rajput, play games, more dangerous games than this, but don't ever play them with a dangerous man...", Abhyansh said, and Ranveer gulped looking at the fire in his brother-in-law's eyes, but he remembered he is doing all this for his sister.

"Maharaj... coffee", Isha gave it to him and stood there when she suddenly remembered about her new number...

"Bhai... you have sent the number to Maharaj also, right??", Isha asked and Ranveer coughed badly looking at Abhyansh's smirk. Ranveer is hell afraid now, his brother-in-law didn't have a filter to his mouth, what if he tells his sister that he forgot it...

"Oh no! bacha, I forgot... I thought... you will give him...", Ranveer fumbled, and Isha glared at him...

"Bhai... how could you?? You said you sent everyone in my contacts, my new number... how could you forget Maharaj?? Just because of your mistake, he had to come here at this time instead of just calling me...", Isha whisper-yelled at her brother but Abhyansh heard it clearly, he just smirked giving Ranveer a challenging look.

" Isha ... you didn't tell me, when will you return to Ranawat palace??", Abhyansh asked putting down the coffee cup...

Ranveer quickly messaged Vikram to call him urgently and do the task, and immediately deleted the message so that his sister wouldn't know what he is planning... before Isha could answer,Ranveer's phone rang...

"Oh god!, this man is eating my head, I don't know what has happened, he wouldn't say what's the problem, but insists me to come to London, just ask him what's the matter, till then I'll give company to your husband", Ranveer said shoving his phone into Isha's hands, Isha glared at her brother looking at the caller ID, but she couldn't say anything, she remembered how her husband reacted when a similar situation occurred, she didn't understand why but her husband hates Vikram, after that night in her chamber when her brother forced her to talk to Vikram, he gave an earful, she thought he was just irritated, but after that, he got irritated whenever he heard Vikram's name and eventually she understood that he hates Vikram, reasons unknown. So, she calmly walked away and talked to the caller, but what she heard shocked her. She assured him that she and her brother would do all the help they could to help him in this situation.

She came back and looked at her husband... now that she promised, she can't back out...

"Call done?? Did he tell you the reason??", Ranveer asked her casually, but Abhyansh frowned when he saw the smirk on his face.

"Yes bhai...", She said sadly and looked at her husband. She is still scared of him and Abhyansh understood it.

He is frustrated to ask her so many times, but he controlled his temper and asked her again about her return. He is not leaving Rajput palace without getting the return date out of her but for the first time, Abhyansh Singh Ranawat is not going to get what he wanted, because it's his wife, the other end and he couldn't force her to anything and hurt her.

"Ma..Maharaj... I... I don't know", she finally uttered those words, and Ranveer smirked at his plan getting successful.

Ranveer asked his friend to tell her that he is having a problem with his nephew custody as the case reopened and he badly wanted Ranveer's and her help in it. Vikram's brother died in a car accident recently while his sister-in-law died while giving birth to his nephew years ago, now that his brother too passed away, his sister-in-law's family wanted custody, but he fought the case and won it. Now the baby Aryan, who is 8 years old stays with Vikram only, Isha too knows him and is very fond of him. Ranveer asked Vikram to lie to Isha that the custody case reopened and this time, his sister-in-law's family is very strong. And he needed both Isha and Ranveer with him to support him. Isha being the selfless and innocent soul she is, fell for the act. She wanted to tell this to her husband and explain to him that she might take a few more days to come to Ranawat palace but she is afraid of his reaction. So, for the time being she decided to tell him that she doesn't know when she would return and thought to explain everything when she and her brother decide to leave for London to support Vikram.

Looking at Ranveer's smirk and Isha's innocent face in dilemma, Abhyansh understood that Ranveer is playing a sick game, he wants to keep his wife away from the games his brother-in-law is playing, he wouldn't let anyone play with her innocence.

"It's late, go and sleep", Abhyansh said looking at Isha, she nodded and left from there... she kept looking at him while going to her chamber, all he wanted is to pull her into his embrace but refrained.

"Rajput... I need my wife's number, and you will text me that", Abhyansh said after Isha left, it's not like he couldn't find it on his own... but he took it to his ego, and he wants his brother-in-law to send it to him.

"I can't...", Ranveer started but Abhyansh cut him...

"You. Will. Send. It.", Abhyansh said looking at Ranveer with fire blazing in his eyes which made Ranveer scared for a second. He didn't understand how to stop the communication between his sister and brother-in-law and that's when he remembered something, he said 'sorry' to his sister in his head for using her nightmares, but he wasn't left with much of an option.

"I will give you her number, but please don't contact her, let her live in peace at least for some days, I... she is suffering from nightmares, after the attack, she... um... I don't know how to tell you but your tortures are haunting her still, so maybe if you are away from her for some time, it would help her... she stayed away from you a bit in the past few days and her nightmares reduced too", Ranveer said and Abhyansh's heart pained remembering how his wife jumped away seeing him after a nightmare... though his face is void of any emotions, Ranveer can see his plan worked, for a second, he hated for doing this but that's required, and remembering the BEAST's tortures, his guilt is washed away with fury. He deserves everything he is going to give for the way he tortured his sister, Ranveer thought.

"Send me the number", Abhyansh said and walked away... Ranveer is sure he wouldn't contact Isha after this, though he didn't say anything, and he could carry on with his plan freely. That's when he remembered his man who was caught spying on Abhyansh... Ranveer hit his head and ran toward Abhyansh.

"Ranawat, don't kill my man, he... all he wanted was Isha's safety... we might be on opposite sides but at the end of the day, all we want is Isha's welfare, that man has a wife and children, please", Ranveer pleaded...

"I won't kill him, not because you are asking me to, but I promised my wife once that no person would lose their life for her", Abhyansh said remembering how he asked her to be his 'slave' in return for all the lives. She sacrificed so much, she is so kind, and what he did do to her?? Abhyansh shook his head and walked out and got into his car, and Bhairav got into the passenger seat.

"Bhairav... keep an eye on Rajput...", Abhyansh commanded, and Bhairav bowed in 'yes'

Abhyansh reached home but sleep is far from his eyes... his wife's words kept running in his head. She didn't want to be his wife and that thought is pricking his heart... he changed and went to her bedroom and lay on her side, her fragrance calmed his nerves...

"I am waiting for that day when you will be in my arms in this bed... ", he said nuzzling his head into her pillow which still has her scent...

Soon he drowned in her thoughts and drifted into a nap.

Days passed and to Ranveer's peace, Abhyansh didn't call Isha and when she wanted to call him, he stopped her saying he would be disturbed as he is very busy these days, he named a few random projects and Isha who trusted her brother blindly believed everything and never called her husband.

Abhyansh wanted to find out why Isha didn't tell him her exact return date, and what is that important work that's stopping her from coming to him. He wanted to tap his brother's and her phone, but he already got to know that Ranveer is trying his level best to separate his sister from him, and at this time, if he taps their phones, Ranveer could use it against him in front of Isha. He couldn't see Isha going away from him, he could do anything for her, he wants her with him ASAP, so he refrained from doing so. Staying without hearing her voice or looking at her serene face is becoming so difficult and his family, his staff, and even Sharah and Veera are becoming the scapegoats for his anger.

He needs his wife like he needs Oxygen, he couldn't function properly without her. It's 5 days since he talked to her or saw her. Is Ranveer right?? She wants him to stay away from her?? Is this why she didn't call him?? Is he the cause of her nightmares?? He couldn't help thinking about all this. Though he knew it might have Ranveer's hand in it, his restless heart is not letting his rational brain function. He always loses his calm when it came to his wife and this habit is gonna hurt him a lot in the coming days.

Isha is upset that her husband didn't call her not even once in these 5 days, she kept looking at her phone for his one call or message, but she is always disappointed, Ranveer felt bad for his sister.

"Bhai... are you sure, you gave my new number to Maharaj?? You might have sent it to someone else by mistake....", she said sadly...

"Meri ma, you are asking this for the 100th time... I sent it the very same night, see this", Ranveer said showing his message to Abhyansh sending his sister's contact number...

"Okay, I'll only call him and ask him, how he is?? One call won't hurt right??", Saying this she took her mobile and is about to call her husband when Ranveer snatched the phone.

"Ishu... your husband is not a baby, he is doing fine, I just met him yesterday... Stop worrying so much, he is very busy, he is having meetings at night as well... Don't disturb him, don't you trust your bhayyu?? I'm telling you, he is completely alright", Ranveer said, and Isha nodded sadly...

To divert her, Ranveer started talking about Vikram and the problem which they faked.

"Bhai... Vikram needs us there, Um... I think we should go there to support him in these tough times, tell me when are we going, so that I inform Maharaj and ask his permission, also I need to inform Ragini about it right??", Isha said

"Yeah, we'll see, if Vikram couldn't handle things on his own, we'll go, okay it's late, now go and sleep", Ranveer said, Isha looked at his brother for a minute before leaving for her chamber, this is how her brother is reacting from the past 5 days, whenever she raised about Vikram's problem. She isn't interested to talk to Vikram or discuss him after the fight they had during her marriage. But she definitely cares for him and Aryan, so she wants to help in any way possible.

Ranveer knew he couldn't stop his sister from talking to Abhyansh for more days neither could he dodge her questions regarding the custody case which is a huge lie, so he did what he should do, sped up the process... the next evening, after Isha is done with her office, Ranveer took her to a lawyer.

"Bhai, why are we here?? Is there any legal work??", Isha asked her brother who is sitting beside her... her brother looked very nervous and sad, she didn't understand why...

"Ishu... Um... actually, I don't know how to tell you...", Ranveer started, Isha cut him off...

"Bhai?? You are hesitating with me?? I'm your Ishu, come on bhai, tell me", Isha asked innocently, Ranveer hugged his sister, and a small tear left his eye, for what he is going to do to his sister. His sister would never forgive him for this, but he is left with no option. He had to do it. After that meeting with his father, he met him again to know the truth, but his father's words only made him more determined. Kailash Rajput exploited Ranveer's love for his sister and Ranveer fell into his trap. Abhyansh's torture left him no option but to do what he is doing. He knew his sister would never agree to ' Divorce ' Abhyansh, she would be committed to that loveless and abusive relationship just because she gave her word, and he didn't want it.

"Ishu... um... actually, I need some cash for my business, we are opening a new branch in Indonesia, and I want to sell a property, but none of the properties in my name offer the amount I need, so I...", Ranveer trailed...

"You want me to transfer the properties in your name, right??", Isha asked and Ranveer nodded... Isha glared at her brother... "You are so stupid bhayyu, you are hesitating for this?? Do you really have to ask me?? You could have just brought the papers and I would have signed it... huh...", Isha said and Ranveer felt more guilty seeing her trust in him...

"Actually, lawyer, I mean our legal advisor wants you to sign in front of him, um... you know, he is afraid of your husband... what if he is against this??", Ranveer said

"Bhai, why would Maharaj say something like that?? I know him, he is not like that, stop worrying so much, and next time don't ask me, just bring the papers, I would sign it, what is yours and mine, everything is ours...", Isha said innocently and Ranveer smiled at his selfless sister just like his bhabhosa, She doesn't have any idea about the wealth distribution, she still believes that her father put all the properties on her name and that's the reason her kaku sa wouldn't kill her.

"Ishu... the lawyer is very particular, he would ask you to read the papers, so it's better, you have a look at them", said Ranveer giving her the papers...

"Bhai, no need, I'll sign them, if he asks, I'll tell him I have read them already, I trust you", she said, and he closed his eyes in regret.

He didn't expect his sister to trust him blindly, he thought she would at least have a single look at the papers, so he brought property transfer papers as well, and thought to exchange them or place the divorce papers below them but his sister trusts him too much to even sign the papers without having a look at them...

He wanted to make her sign the papers at home but the lawyer he approached wanted to make sure that Isha is okay with it. Ranveer prayed that the lawyer wouldn't say anything about the divorce and just get the signatures...

Mr. Ratan Singh, a famous lawyer, and a man of principles has decided to take up this case. Ranveer already told him that it's a matter of mutual consent and they won't be having many issues.

Mr. Singh entered his office and greeted both the Rajput siblings.

"Mrs. Ranawat, your brother told me it's done mutually, so are you really okay with this??", Mr. Singh asked Isha...

"Yes Sir, where should I sign??", Isha asked...

"Um... think again 'Rani sa'... I mean Mrs. Ranawat, um... forgive me for not calling you 'Rani sa', I won't do that, since you are my client", Mr. Singh said and Isha nodded though she got confused at the 'client' word...

Ranveer is now completely sure that he would be caught, and he would be listening to his sister's rants and shouts the whole day, she wouldn't leave him, she will kill him, he thought.

"So, Mrs. Ranawat, are you sure, your husband, Mr. Abhyansh Singh Ranawat will be okay with this??", Mr. Singh asked, he shivered even taking the BEAST's name, even though he is a royal himself and is in his mid-fifties with a lot of experience, he still feared him, well everyone did...

"He wants this sir, I know him, you won't have any problem from his side, now please tell me where should I sign", Isha asked and Ranveer sighed in relief when he saw the lawyer nod.

"Um... I'll show...", Ranveer said, covering the divorce word on the paper, Isha gave a small smile to her brother and signed the papers...

"Ishu, go and sit in the car, I'll just come", Ranveer said, and she left from there...

"Send these papers to Mr. Ranawat, from Mrs. Ranawat as soon as possible, if possible today", Ranveer said and after discussing further things, Ranveer walked from there, looking here and there to find if anyone saw them, and even though Abhyansh's men see him, it would only do good as they will also notice Isha and it would send a clear cut message to the BEAST that Isha willingly signed the papers.

That's also one of the main reasons to choose Mr. Singh as their lawyer, he has a very good reputation and it would make Abhyansh believe that Isha really wants a divorce and as much as Ranveer knew Abhyansh, he would give everything Isha wants. And he just wants to try his luck in freeing his sister from the BEAST's clutches.

As soon as they left from there, Bhairav received the call and Abhyansh's men detailed everything to him, he sighed, he knew this news is definitely going to infuriate the BEAST, but he had to tell him.

"Hukum... an update about Rani sa and Mr. Ranveer Rajput", Bhairav said gaining Abhyansh's attention. He gulped literally thinking about what the king would do to him after he gives him the news...

Abhyansh gave a nod to continue, and he did...

"Mr. Rajput... and Rani sa, ......(clears throat) Rani sa, met a lawyer... practicing family law, Mr. Singh... Ratan Singh", Bhairav said trying hard not to fumble and Abhyansh who is signing the files and listening to Bhairav halted his movement.

"Come again", Abhyansh asked calmly, but Bhairav knew it was the calm before the storm...

"They... they met a Divorce lawyer...", Bhairav said gulping hard...

"And??", Abhyansh asked calmly, but his insides are burning with rage...

"Our men didn't go inside or do any further inquiry, we are waiting for your command Hukum, if you say, all the details would be on your table within the next 10 minutes", Bhairav said

"No...", Abhyansh said dismissing Bhairav shocking him...

Abhyansh didn't want to react now, he wanted to wait and see what would his wife do, the woman who refused to leave him even when he was torturing her badly, just because she gave him a promise, would leave him now?? When he is treating her so well and even promised not to hurt her?? No, Abhyansh refused to believe it. He wanted to wait and see what happens, if his wife really decides to divorce him, then no one could stop the BEAST from pounding on his prey, till then he was controlling his bubble of anger inside him.

The next morning, the lawyer's notice and the divorce papers reached Abhyansh, bursting the bubble of anger, he is mounting from the last evening. For a second, he thought that it might have happened without her knowledge, but he knew Mr. Ratan Singh personally, he is a man of principles, and he wouldn't participate in such deception, he even confirmed with his men and got to know that Isha signed the papers in the lawyer office and now there is no stopping him. His rage is bubbling inside but he preserved it for his prey . His wife, Isha Abhyansh Singh Ranawat.

He called her and she took it in the first ring getting excited but before she could say anything, he talked...

"Come home right away... Right. Now", He said and hung up, he sounded normal, his tone is cold like always, but she sensed something wrong in his tone and what's with calling her home so suddenly?? She wondered without knowing that she is once again going to witness the BEAST in him, this time it would hurt her more.

She went to Rajput palace from her office and Ranveer who saw her packing in a hurry asked her what's wrong, and she told him that her husband called her home ASAP. And Ranveer literally shivered from inside. That's it, this is the last day for him, he knew why his brother-in-law is calling his sister.

"I'll also come with you...", Ranveer said

"Of course, you will, but bhai, just drop me and leave from there, I don't know why but I sense Maharaj's mood is worse, so don't come in", Isha said but no, he couldn't leave his sister like that...

"No bacha, I will come in...", Ranveer said but Isha is adamant, she is sure her husband's mood is the worse and she didn't want her brother to face it, she thought he is calling her so that he could calm himself looking at her, she smiled remembering such incidents in the past when her husband asked her to come to his study, one look at her, and all his 'fury' disappeared, he didn't spell it but after a few times, she understood why he was calling her.

Ranveer dropped her at the Ranawat palace and insisted to come in but Isha refused. He believed Abhyansh couldn't hurt his sister so he left a bit confidently.

"Ma, where is Maharaj...", Isha asked as soon as she entered, she is worried looking at Amruta and Avyan who are pacing from here and there, Amruta hugged her as soon as she saw her daughter-in-law...

"Isha, you are back... thank god, don't know what happened to Abhyansh, I have never seen him so mad, he not only destroyed his home office, but also his study, his office in your chamber, all three bedrooms and don't know what all he would destroy if he doesn't see you, every 10 minutes, he comes out and asks if you have arrived", Amruta said

"Ma, have you gone mad, we can't let Bhabhi sa go in front of Bhai sa now, he is enraged, Bhabhi sa, please go to your room, careful, there are glass pieces all over", Avyan said

"No Avyan, I'll be fine, where is he??", Isha asked, before either of them could answer they heard his tone...

"Oh! look who is here, the great queen of Ajmer, Rani sa, kindly come upstairs", Abhyansh said in his sickly dangerous tone which made Amruta and Avyan shiver in fear. Even Isha is scared hearing at his tone.

Saying that he walked towards his chamber, while Amruta held Isha's hand, before she thought her son would stop his destruction at least after seeing her daughter-in-law but seeing his dangerous face and glares directed towards Isha, she is no longer convinced to send Isha in but Isha convinced them that he wouldn't hurt her and walked towards their chamber. She saw the whole chamber destroyed and looking at its condition, she is shivering with fear but maintained a brave front.

She kept chanting, 'he won't hurt me', 'he won't hurt me' all the way till she found her husband sitting on the throne in the huge hall upstairs in their chamber which is just outside the modern office which is located inside their chamber.

His one leg is on the other one, and his hands are bleeding, wetting the legal papers in his hand with his blood... that's when it caught her... legal papers?? What's going on?? What made him seethe in anger like this??

"Have you met Mr. Singh yesterday??", He asked in his dangerous tone which scared Isha to the core...

"Y...Yes", She answered, she didn't want to face his wrath, so she quickly answered gulping her fear.

"Why??", He asked, now she understood that it's all about those property papers she signed the previous day, but she knew her husband is not someone who would get greedy over someone else's wealth. Something is wrong, she thought...

On getting no answer from her, he raged like a mad bull, he stormed towards her and held her hair in a vile grip, and she winced in pain but he ignored it... his fury is making him an animal almost killing the human he had started to become for her.

Isha's eyes closed in fear and tears escaped her eyes, because of the mental distress she is going through at that point more than the physical pain, seeing her husband behaving like an animal with her, even after he promised her.

"How dare you betray me?? I gave you freedom, thinking you would never leave me, but you?? You decided to go away from me??", He growled pulling her hair harshly... she thought he might be talking about her London plan but they didn't even plan anything yet, how did he know??

"Maharaj... Please... it's paining", she said and he jerked her so that he wouldn't hurt her more, but due to the force, she lost her balance and her head collided with the table which is lying on the floor, though it didn't bleed, she knew it would definitely swell afterward...

She sat on the floor crying hugging her knees... but nothing melted him, he became an animal who is not affected by anything, he didn't like her sobs, he wanted her to stop crying but his anger didn't lessen...

"You wanted to divorce me?? How dare you?? I thought you would stay on your word, but how could I forget that you are Amar Rajput's daughter", Abhyansh screamed, but only the word 'divorce' is registered in her head...

" Divorce?? ", She managed to utter even in her extreme physical and mental pain.

Looking at her confused face, he wanted to believe she didn't know anything, but all the evidence is against her.

"Don't pretend to be innocent, you, yourself signed the papers with your own will, this is why you didn't want to be my wife, this is why you said 'No', right??", screamed Abhyansh throwing the papers on her face... "Do you have anything to say??", He asked looking at her face and her dishevelled figure. For a second, he detested himself for treating her like that, but she betrayed him, she deserved it, and his brain supported his actions.

Isha couldn't understand anything, she opened the papers and looked at them, that's when she received the shock of her life, it's the same papers she signed the previous day. A loud sob escaped her throat realizing she was played, her own brother betrayed her, she trusted him with her life and he did this to her... she sobbed hard hiding her face in the papers and her loud sobs brought Abhyansh out of his BEASTly form. He looked at her sobbing harshly... he didn't understand what was going on... he walked towards her and kept looking at her keenly... his eyes which are red with fury before, are now filled... he broke his promise, he had hurt her, for the first time in his life, Abhyansh Singh Ranawat broke a promise. Her dishevelled face and loud cries are killing something in him...

"You... you want to say something??", He asked... he wanted to hear a single word, a single word that she didn't betray him... his heart knew she didn’t, but he needs a single nod, a single gesture to confirm himself but she just shook her head and ran away from there...

She didn't want to tell the truth to her husband and divert his fury towards her brother, she knew her husband would kill her brother if he gets to know the truth... she cried sitting on the floor, her husband's distrust on her, his treatment towards her despite his promise, and her brother's betrayal broke her completely.

"Bhairav... get all the call recordings of Ranveer Rajput's phone", Abhyansh ordered, and that's when he realized what a fool, he was... he was played by his brother-in-law very cleverly and he like a fool didn't realize what he is up to despite getting all suspicious. He closed his eyes in deep regret. More than fury for his brother-in-law, deep regret for hurting his wife was 1000 times harsher. He is still angry at his wife for being so stupid and a fool to sign the papers without reading them, but he hated himself for even doubting her and mistreating her. He should have known that his wife would never betray him.

"Bhairav, bring Rajput to the den, I'm coming...", Abhyansh said before walking to his wife's room...Abhyansh ordered the servants to clean everything a while back, he walked towards Isha's room but it was locked, he saw the servants tapping her room...

"What happened??", Abhyansh asked the servants with fury, his anger on Ranveer didn't calm down a bit... it was multiplying like a nuclear fusion every second. They all shivered looking at the anger radiating off his body...

"Rani sa is not opening the door Maharaj, we are done cleaning all the other parts of the chamber, just this room is...", a servant trailed trying hard not to fumble, looking down before he interrupted them...

"Get out all of you", he shouted, and they all scurried away...

" Isha... open the door, please", he said, and she quickly opened it wiping her tears... she is his slave, how would she not listen to him... she thought bitterly. For the second time in her life, she is feeling this bitterness.Abhyansh noticed her face which is red while crying, her long hair dishevelled, and her forehead swollen, he closed his eyes in deep regret.He is about to touch her when she moved back... she didn't want him anywhere near her, not at least now...

"I didn't know the truth then... I...I was furious looking at the divorce papers and your signature on it, I thought you betraye....", he started but she looked at him in his eyes with anger for the first time since they met... looking at her eyes, he understood how hurt she is by his behaviour...

"I'm your slave Maharaj... how can I leave you without your permission??", She said softly though her inner emotions are anything but soft...

"I... I...", Abhyansh wanted to apologize, but he never did that before... he is feeling weird, it's not so difficult to apologize, he could say 'I'm sorry' without fumbling but the amount of hurt in her eyes is mocking him, 'just a sorry for all the damage you have done??'

"Maharaj... from today, I'll behave like your slave, since I'm one... I wanted to be like before, I don't want any privileges which I'm getting now, please, kindly accept my request", she said folding her hands, tears slipped her eyes, he is about to wipe them when she moved backward... "please don't touch me, I don't deserve it, you are a king and I'm your slave", she said and walked to the washroom...

Her words are like a slap on his face... he knew how hurt his wife is, and he messed up big time... he didn't even have any idea how to correct the things now... his fury on his brother-in-law increased ten folds now...He rushed to his basement, took out his car, and drove towards his den, he couldn't control his anger anymore, so he drove off pushing his driver away... he saw Ranveer tied up to a chair and as soon as the BEAST saw him... he held Ranveer's neck in a vile grip and lifted him in the air along with the chair, he is actually that furious... Abhyansh's wounds on his palms spilled more blood with his vile hold on his neck but he cared the least...

"Ranveer Rajput... if you are not my wife's brother, or if she didn't love you so much, I would have killed you by now, not to forget the torture you would be going through", Abhyansh said, his eyes red with fury, tightening his hold on Ranveer's throat choking him completely, it's getting difficult to breathe for Ranveer.

Ranveer looked at him in so much fear for the first time as he never imagined a human could display so much fury... he never saw the BEAST in that much anger, honestly, no one ever did... Abhyansh's fury is so much that it's making him lose his control on all his senses, he even forgot his pain, his muscles are so tightened around his shirt that it would get ripped anytime from now...

Everyone including Abhyansh's cold, dangerous, and emotionless animal men too got afraid seeing his fury. They never saw him in so much fury till date and his growls are definitely making them feel like run for their life.
